i really wanted to try this hot roller set out, so my hubby decided to surprise me with it! I was so stoked to use it!This product is easy to use. You just line up the rollers on the metal band (with the clip attached) and wait a few minutes, like 5. This heats up real quick but doesnt burn your ffingers when you put them in. I havent played with this enough times, but I got the hang of it after my first try with these. I like the idea of the clips, but felt like they left a crease when I took the rollers out. You have to be careful if you have a lot of layers as it can get tricky. If you use the big roller and you have small layers, you get more of a volume effect rather than the curl. The small curlers give a beautiful curl to my hair! When I took them out, they were a bit bouncy, but throughout the day, the loosen up and become wavy. I do like this set, but I know it will take me some practice to get the right idea to fit my hair style. Overall, I like these rollers & my hair wasnt damaged =] continued >>

I have very fine thin hair. Just getting rollers to stay in without sliding out can be difficult. I purchased this set because I wanted rollers that were soft and I like the kind of clips that it comes with. If you buy hot rollers and they don't come with the kind of clips that you want, head over to Sally's Beauty supply and buy some to use. Anyway, the clips on these are heated as well and they can cause dents in the hair if care isn't taken. I use very small pieces of hair to roll, let it set for 3-4 minutes MAX and then unroll. If I were to let them sit longer, I'd be little orphan annie all day. I also don't use product in my hair aside from Aveda's heat protection spray and I end up with nice body and curl. These are nice rollers, a little big and cumbersome on the counter, but very effective and easy to use.

For years I have wanted to try hot rollers. I always thought they looked too good to be true. My hair never wants to hold a curl unless I shalaq it with 20 pounds of hair spray. Plus I was scared of hot rollers after seeing the giant silver space ship looking ones my aunt Liz wore to bed when I was a kid. They looked painful. I saw this set at Target for $40 and I bought them. I liked them because they were in a nifty black case and they each had their own hair clip. The first time I tried it, I don't even think I brushed my hair out. I did it half assed. I grabbed clumps of hair and rolled half heartedly. The directions said they would set in 15 minutes. I unrolled them after the 15 minutes and I was shocked. I had the most beautiful curls and my hair looked awesome. I didn't even try and it turned out wonderful. The curls held for hours without hairspray. My hair never will hold a curl but by some miracle, this worked. I have recommended these rollers to everyone. My 15 year old niece bought a set and she loves them even more than I do. She uses them everyday before school and with the big sexy hair hairspray, her curls will last all day. I can't say enough good things about these curlers. This is the longest review I've ever written on something so you know I am excited about it.
