I hate this product . It not only didn't control my oil but made me even more oily and also separated my foundation. I have tried both new and old formula and hated both. Broke me out very bad as well yuck don't waste ur money
This is my third face primer I've tried. First was the Hard Candy which was so awesome, but gave me the worst cystic acne I've ever had in my entire life. The other was Rimmel London's and that didn't do anything for me.
I was suggested to this by a Sephora employee since I'm wearing my makeup 12+ hours a day and I work in retail with no time for touch-ups. She also recommended this one because of the anti-acne aspect of it since I'm so acne-prone and oily.
This is good, I've noticed such a vast improvement of the staying power of my mascara, but I don't notice anything special about it that would make me have to go out and buy this one specifically again. I also feel like it makes my skin kind of red. For the price that it is, I don't feel like it's really worth it completely, however, it is nice and I would purchase it again if I didn't have time to try another or something.
I prefer this primer over any of the smashbox primers, and ranks as one of my top favourites (beaten only by Fusion). I just really like the feel of it and can get away with this and powder and I'm set for the day. I don't need a lot as it spreads very easily. Will definitely repurchase.
I first tried this out as a sample I got from my reward points in Sephora. The sample lasted be a good month about and I can honestly say I liked it. It applies smoothly, didn't irritate my skin but I don't think it made my face completely matte (Could possibly be because of the moisturizer I use on top of it though). It did reduce shine and since it has Anti-Acne treatment it's helped me from breaking out as much. It's a little pricey but does do what it's supposed to. It's my go to for now until I find out that's better
Controlled my oil but broke me out. To be sure I stopped using it for a month and my skin cleared up. As soon as I restarted my skin breaking out again. Do not recommend.

I tried a sample of this and was impressed that it did not break me out. I am TERRIFIED of primers breaking me out, so I am very picky about what I use. The "anti-acne" properties of this drew me in. I purchased the full-size bottle, and am about halfway done with it and it has been about two months of almost daily use. It helps keep my makeup on all day, but I can't say anything about its ability to control oil, as I am still greasy pretty quickly. It hasn't broken me out, but it also doesn't seem to be helping acne either.
Pros:
-doesn't break me out
-keeps makeup on all day
Cons:
-doesn't control oil
-doesn't seem to do much about acne
-expensive
-can sting a bit when first applied
Honestly, I'd rather just apply an acne treatment before a normal primer than use this. I recently discovered the Tarte clean slate poreless primer, which is much better at oil control and has not broken me out.
I gave it *some* points for packaging. It's hygenic.
However, as a product, I really dislike it. It separates. One day I decided to give it another chance and it squirted watery liquid out. I had to go shake weight on it to reconstitute it.
So let's get down to the performance of the product. It's no better than any other primer that I've tried. It might not even be as good as other primers.
Oil control = 0
Anti-acne = ?I use so many other things for my acne that I will never say it helps or hurts the acne situation.
Texture of my skin = I hate the feel of my skin after I put it on. I want to wash it off.
My mom bought this, and it really broke her out. I've used it and I like it enough to finish it. Wouldn't buy it again, but mostly because I prefer Smashbox and MAC primers, they feel lighter to me. But there's no real problem with this one for me, if you're prone to break outs though, stay away.
I got this primer as a 100 point perk since I’m on the hunt for my HG face primer. This primer did not make my foundation stay on longer, fill my pores, or give my foundation a good base. I believe that this primer is overpriced and there are much better primers on the market. I can’t speak for the acne prevention aspect since I only break out when I don’t follow my skin care regimen. I will not purchase.
