It's a shame BeneFit keeps discontinuing all the good colors that work so well on me! Move Over was a definite keeper and I am down to my last few swipes before it's completely gone. I haven't been able to find a color like this anywhere else. It's a kind of brown-pink-mauve and for my coloring (fair skin, dark brown hair) it works beautifully. My only complaint is that it is too matte. If BeneFit came out with a shimmery version of this color I would stock up.

Hi all,
I just were informed that "move over" has been discontinued. As you all seem to be as addicted to that lipstick than I am, do you have a successor yet?
Thanks for letting me know*

Love, love, LOVE this lipstick!!! Can't say enough great stuff about it. I'm a mauve lipstick junkie admittedly, but this mauve is just---different. Not too pink, with a hint of nude-ish brown thrown in there. Fabulous! Goes wonderfully with my PPP skin and auburn hair (I know there was a reviewer a few posts down w/same coloring who said it looked bad on her, but all I'm saying is it works for me). The lipstick itself has a nice creamy texture without being too thick, and looks just as good left on a little heavier as it does blotted for a MLOB look. Great product; I'll have it in my makeup bag from here on out.

What a great lipstick! It's always a thrill to find a new HG color. Move Over is described as a "neutral mocha berry." I found it to be a plummy-brown neutral shade...not too dark or Vampira-ish, yet not too pale and blah. I'm very fair-skinned and it's hard for me to find lipsticks that work. Many colors come across as too vivid or dark on me. Yet, if I wear shades that are *too* neutral or light, my lips either disappear or take on an unpleasant corpse-like appearance. So I'm forever in search of the perfect brownish-red, brownish-pink and brownish-plum. Move Over not only has a great color, the texture and staying power are good -- the lipstick is creamy and comfortable, not drying, doesn't turn fuchsia on me, and lasts for several hours. It's a perfect everyday color. Some of my other HG lippies are Origins Blind Date, NARS Tanganyka, BB Brownie, MAC Touch and Laura Mercier Subtle Lips.

I really like Benefit products. Love the names, love the quality of everything I've tried. Having said that I didn't like this color. I am a PPP with auburn hair with pale lips and it completely erases my mouth. Ick.Will not repurchase THIS color.

Move over is a matte, pinky brown shade, more brown than pink. It almost seems to have a gray cast to it that makes me look half dead and very in need of a tan and some sleep. Maybe this would be better suited for someone with a darker complexion (I'm MAC C2). Or at least if this wasn't so matte it would be easier to pull off.

My new favorite lipstick! Move Over is a gorgeous, albeit rather simple, pink-brown that is truly a 'my lips but better' shade on me. I'm forever wearing dark shades like rubies and wines but after wearing this out a couple of months ago and having a friend tell me how great it looked, I have really started to wear this all the time. It works with all my makeup looks - dramatic eyes are amazing with this lipstick because it's so natural, and I can also do simple eyes and brightly flushed cheeks and still wear this, because it does leave behind such a simple yet flattering shade on my lips. I've tried so many pink-brown shades in the past, but I've found very few, if any, that can live up to this one. This is also very creamy, moisturizing, and surprisingly long lasting!

Very good neutral matte shade, a pinky-brown color in the tube, with some definate plum undertones when worn. This was a little too brown-based for me, as I think I need more of a mauve to compliment my cool coloring (such as Benefit's Uh Uh Um, my HG lipstick!). Still, it's a good quality, smooth, creamy lipstick. Staying power is pretty good too. I think Benefit's lipsticks are one of their most underrated products. They really have a nice, neutral shade range and a good formula.

tried this and hazelnut. both were too dry and didn't really do anything for me. better off getting a more expensive brand like chantecaille or dior addict.
EDIT: ok, apparently my lips are so dry, even my beloved dior isn't working, so I've updated my review because I think these would be fine for someone who doesn't have dry lips or live in a harsh (cold) climate. But, still, I don't think these colors flatter me mixed skin tone, but i think if you are truly white, or have a tan, they might work for you.

I usually love Benefit's Lipsticks. I have Wink which I use with Estee Lauder Plum Brown lipliner, to give a fleshy brown pink with a bit of shimmer to my lips. I love that. But I tried Move Over and found it too matte. Plus it looks like MAC Twig, only not as plum. Its kind of boring, nothing to really make it stand apart from any other pink brown lipstick out there. Except that its Benefit, And I am a big fan of the line.

Move Over is a great pinky-brown. For those of you who thought MAC Spirit was a little too brown this one could be for you. Fairly moisturizing and long-lasting..though there are a few that perform better. There is a slight taste I noticed. I got this in a swap so could be I got an old one or one that has gone bad a bit or something. It was not too offensive to wear though.

Move Over Lipstick by Benefit is a *perfect* nude pink with brown undertones color. I wear this a lot when I don't feel like doing anything fancy with my make-up. The lipstick goes on smooth, doesn't dry out your lips, and lasts for a good amount of time, not the whole day - you will have to reapply it - but the staying power is pretty average. A reliable, good quality lipstick.
