This is like a foundation base for the lips. I use it after my lip balm. It is a pale pink liquid. You only need a tiny squirt of this. Too much will just emphasize the lines and chaps. Then I apply the Etude ColorMeNude Lip Concealer. Now you put on your gloss. I don't normally apply gloss directly to my lips. It dries out your skin. Having a base is good to protect your natural lip pigment. Your gloss will also stay on much longer.
