i LOVE wearing an array of eye make up...liquid eyeliner, pencil eyeliner, tons of mascara, eyeshadows, i've tried it all and i've also tried different eye make up remover products, a lot of which have worked great but you always get a little product at an expensive price...i tried boots on a whim as i was shopping for a new product b/c i ran out of mary kay's eye make up remover (great product, but pricey -$15 for a little 3.75 oz. & you have to order it online or through a consultant) so boots won me over b/c it works at the same consistency as mary kay's but for under $6 and i can get it at target :) it even removes water proof and i don't feel you have to scrub the crap out of your eyes...it is gentle to use on eyes (& i wear contacts) does not sting and yes, it does leave a little residue but that's ok with me b/c i do wash my face after i remove my make up and the residue comes off fine with what ever you wash your face with...my only quip with the packaging is i do wish it had a squirting stopper so it's easier to pour out onto cotton continued >>

I think I bought the wrong formula, but this is what they had at Target. I am used to using Neut. Oil-Free. The Boots was cheaper, but I was in a hurry and forgot to read the label before purchasing. It is primarily mineral oil which leaves a residue. I won't repurchase.

Just logged on to write a review about this product, only to find out that Alex193 had already written exactly what I was about to! Same here, red eyes and stinging, uncomfortable sensation using this. It's a shame, because it is very good at removing eye makeup, mascara included. I guess my eyes are too sensitive for this product, or maybe the product is not mild enough for sensitive eyes! Will go back to my Clinique Take the Day Off, which despite not being specifically targeted at sensitive eyes, has never given me any problem whatsoever!

I was uber allergic to this stuff. I'm talking about completely red eyeballs and puffy lids... it was truly awful. I think it might be the mineral oil that gave me a reaction, not sure. But, for a sensitive eye product, I was suprised. I've never had a skin reaction like that before.

I gave it 2 lippies because 1.) It removed all my makeup easily and 2.) You get a TON of product for very little money.

I was so upset when Neutrogena discontinued my fave eye and makeup remover, but then I tried the Boots brand and I love it. And I don't have to order it from drugstore.com, I just run past Target on my way home for work. It takes off the glueiest mascara and wipes my shadow right away, and then when I wash my face, there's no oiliness or residue and I have never had it bother my eyes. A+!

This is my favorite, it doesn't make my eyes burn at all- even when it gets directly in my eyes. It does the job great, and one bottle will last for months. I've been using my current bottle for... at least 5 or 6 months and haven't ran out yet. I already bought another bottle for when this one runs out, I won't get any other kind. =) Great price too.

Excellent Eye Makeup Remover!!!! Generous bottle for $5.49 in Target. I have been using this after being disatisfied with my usual Rimmel not getting everything off. This cuts through it all! It is an oily remover. It has aloe vera, but no fragrance or lanolin, It does however contain mineral oil. But a small amount of this on a cotton pad removes all my eye makeup. You must hold the pad against your lid for approximately 30 seconds, but once the remover has time to "loosen" the makeup & mascara up everything just glides right off. Even long wearing eyeliners. I will state that I use NYX Doll Eyes Mascara, and it tends to come off in "flakes", BUT I have no sensitivity to this and no loss of lashes. You do get a little clouding with it, but nothing horrible. One lippie off, because it does tend to come out quickly because of the open spout. A squirt bottle would be better. But all in all a very good product. continued >>
