I returned this product immediately after my first use. It did not moisturize my skin at all and my skin felt more dull and dry after using it. I've tried other Olay body wash and this one just disappoints me. The smell wasn't bad, but it wasn't good either. Smells kinda weird to me. Packaging is fine. I would never purchase it again.
Hands down this is the worst body was I have ever bought. Wish I would have read the ingredients because I would never have bought it if I saw the first three were water, petrolatum, mineral oil. Clogs up my razors and does not seem to even clean the body at all. I tried this for several days and developed a thick coating on the skin that had to be rubbed off with a sugar scrub. Threw this one straight in the garbage.
I love this product. it leaves my skin so soft and silky.
This body wash has the MOST horrendous smell! It smells like cheap perfume. I'm not sure how to describe it. I also didn't think it moisturized my skin at all. I wasted $6 on this to use one time and throw it away. Horrible!
I usually love Olay products but this one was a huge disappointment! It left a slimy, greasy film on my skin and I did not feel clean after using it. Actually had to take another shower using my old stand-by, Dove Body Wash. Also noticed that the bathtub felt somewhat slippery after using this. Don't think I will be repurchasing this one.
I love this product, I wish it wasn't so expensive for what you actually get. I like that it really is moisturizing and I don't have to use lotion if I don't have time or just dont' feel like it. The smell is actually pretty nice for a perfume-y scent--I typically don't like the scents of these type of body washes. I don't buy into the fact that's it's anti-aging, but at least it's moisturizing and I don't look flaky! I like this enough to keep getting it, but I only buy this when I have a coupon and it's on sale!
Wow, this bodywash is amazing!! I first received it as a sample, and immediately fell in love with it. The consistency is super thick and creamy and smells amazing! It's definitely a strong bottled fragrance-type smell. It lathers well and keeps my skin moisturized.
It's strange because checking the ingredients I saw that there was mineral oil in this and immediately thought it would cause breakouts. Most other body washes have left my skin either dry or with a few chest/back breakouts, but amazingly, since using this body wash I have not had one break out, and it never leaves my skin dry!
The first time I purchased it I paid $10, but since I've found the product for around $5.99 and always find $1 off coupons, so this product is a steal for the price! I definitely recommend it..
I am always in need of a moisturizing body wash. Before buying this (at about $10 a pop) I wanted to try it out, so I got a sample.
- Fairly moisturizing. Nothing special compared to any generic bodywashes I've tried, but didn't leave me dried out
- Lathered up very well for me (on a washcloth) and my little sample lasted much, much longer than I expected
- The fragrance didn't nauseate me
- Nothing in it that's anti-aging. Oh, wait, yes there is. In minute amounts, listed after fragrance. Awesome. I guess technically the good stuff is in it, in the way that one flake of oats on a donut would qualify the donut as health food.
- Expensive for the ingredients
This is one of the most moisturising body wash I've ever used seriously !
This bodywash claims that it is a bodywash + body butter, all incorporated into one product. I couldn't agree more.
Texture wise, it comes out more of a body wash that is creamier than usual. It lathers well when in contact with water. It comes in a plastic squeeze bottle, and is a litle more expensive than other drugstore body wash. The best part is after showering when I felt that my skin doesn't feel taut or dry. In fact, the body wash has a sort of 'emolient' that wraps onto your body making it more moisturised.
The downside to it is that, this may be too rich for everyday use. I don't know if it really cleanses that well because it seem to leave some traces of 'emolient' on my skin. But
Advice to Olay: perhaps you could come up with a better scent ? I admit this is probably a 'universally-accepted' scent for most, or at least in my opinion...... but perhaps something that makes showering more fun ??
