At first I really liked using this shampoo and conditioner duo but now that it's been a good 6 weeks I'm not too happy. I like that the shampoo is Canadian and has healthy ingredients. The price is a little more expensive than commercial shampoos for a smaller bottle: $8.99 for 250mL. I have dark brown, wavy, virgin hair that grows fast so I donate minimum 8 inches every 16 months or so. Normally my hair is super shiny, soft and smooth. This shampoo and conditioner dried out my hair (never thought that was possible) and the conditioner was really hard to wash out. Washing out the shampoo the hair felt stripped. If any shampoo or conditioner was left behind there would be an almost sticky feeling left in my hair. The cranberry smell was pleasant but faded really fast so even when my hair was clean it didn't smell clean at all. Despite the bad things, I haven't developed any split ends, my hair had lots of volume even on the second day, and easily could go 2-3 days without washing my hair. Personally I do not recommend this and I think it's because it's stripping so I'm trying the kids version of this shampoo.

I do not recommend this shampoo for colour treated hair. I am a longtime Asian platinum blonde who likes to rotate inexpensive hair care products with more expensive favourites. The low price of Green Beaver’s shampoos and conditioners, the all-natural ingredients (in particular, I am sensitive to sulphates), and the positive experiences I have had with several other Green Beaver products gave me high expectations. All this shampoo did was make my hair feel drier, leaving my conditioners and leave-in treatments with even more work to do. A “no repurchase” for me.

This shampoo is great for color/treated hair. I've been using this shampoo regularly for the last month and noticed that it really does preserve the color in my hair longer than any other shampoo for color/treated hair.

Though this shampoo is certified organic, biodegradable, vegan and gluten-free, it doesnt give me results I wanted. It doesn't lather very well, but most of all, it makes my hair a tangled mess in the shower and makes my hair drier than normal...I want an organic shampoo, but this is not the "one".
