Amazing pigmentation. Love this Rouge Volupte lipsticks.
Lately, i've been venturing into the brighter lip trend. this is great, it looks sophisticated but fun at the same time. so pigmented that i only dab it on, and then i like to use a finger to press it into the lips for a more natural look. Definitely brightens up your face! love the color of this. i also have #30 which is a peachy shade, that looks awesome too.
These are expensive, but soo worth the money. the packaging is so nice and it has a nice fruity scent. love these lipsticks!!

Love the formula of this lipstick. It has like this velvety and powdery finished. The color is bright pink kinda like fuschia. Because the clolor is intense, the way I wear it is by dabbing it lightly on my lips and spread it with my finger. It gives the natural pinky color on my lips.Really pretty! It brighten up my look when I didnt wear much makeup. And it smells beautiful and the packaging is gorgeous!

I purchased this shade along with a lighter pink colour after reading the hype about this lipstick. Firstly it's has the most beautiful and luxurious looking packaging, plus it has a really lovely scent. But the formula is moisturizing but it's absolutely horrible. This lipstick feels grainy when applied and also it really highlights the fine lines on my lips even after exfoliating. Its a shame because I really wanted to love this.

During the winter my lips get super dry and chapped, and I wear chapstick, but sometimes I want some opaque color but still want hydration. This lipstick is perfect for that. It leaves my lips super moist and gorgeous looking. I love this shade in particular because the bright pink warms up my lips really nicely and looks gorgeous on them. I can war this all year round as a beautiful spring and summer pink, or in the fall and winter as a burst of color. It makes me lips look like a beautiful flower. I love it!

This lipstick glides on like butter and feels like velvet. Opera Rose #29 is a unique summery pink suede color that looks like a mixture of pink rose petals and bubble gum. While this is a great lipstick, honestly, the packaging is the most stunning thing about it. It is not a long-lasting lipstick, so don't buy it if you are looking for that. If you are in the mood to splurge on the most gorgeously packaged lipstick out there, then buy this! I am having to come to terms with how I can sometimes be sucked into buying a product based on the packaging, and this is certainly one of those items!! I was really enticed by this one and loved the color and texture, so I had to have it. For $34 it is certainly a splurge for a lipstick. Revlon's Super Lustrous Wink for Pink is a similar dupe for this and is much more long lasting, not to mention way less expensive..

I Love this lipstick....it smells wonderful, the package is great. It moisturizes the lip. It doesn't last long but ysl never maid that claim. I own three and plan to buy more. # 17, 29 and 30

I usually hate wearing lipstick: they're heavy, sticky and taste funny (i'm a chronic lip licker). But this, this was something else. I went to Murals randomly with a $20 coupon off of anything and I didn't know what I want. I did remember seeing the lipstick container in a magazine and thought it was the most beautifulest thing I had ever seen. I tried this color and miraculously it looked good on me. Smooth, soft, luscious are some words that come to mind. It also tastes good :D The mirror at the end of the top part of the container is helpful for application on the go (especially when you're not sure where your lips are).

To begin with, this is the most opulent-looking, gorgeous, stunning lipstick container I have ever come across. Just-- Over-the-top YSL! The detailing! Gorgeous. This was my first time using Rouge Volupte l/s, and I'm not a l/s fan myself, but I've heard all good things, and this color jumped out at me as being the perfect shade of rose-pink I'd ever seen! I wanted to love a color like MAC Snob, but it looked too "fake" and "plastic-y" on my lips. Corpse-style, almost blue-ish. NOOO. So when this formula slid on my lips like freaking soft, melting butter (NOT what I expected from a LIPSTICK?!) I saw what was the most perfect Pinky/Rose shade. Just what I was looking for and didn't even know it. This formula feels GLOSSY on the lips, yet the pigment is there! It delivers on the very first application! SO hard to believe a lipstick could be all of this... and more! No annoying/cloying smell, no stickiness or tackiness, no flakes, just simply comfortable, pure perfect color sitting on my lips, giving them this perfect POP of pink and color that I know now I needed! It just brightens up my face no matter how crappy I look that day. It's like an instant mood pick-me-up! Wow. Very impressive, YSL. Very impressive indeed. PS- It also leaves a nice subtle staining on the lips after being worn, which is nice :) OH, and the subtle scent smells nice but doesn't over-power or over-whelm- it's gotta be... Papaya? I dunno. Something tropical. Winner Winner.

OMG... I bought two. That says a lot cause I am a picky buyer when it comes to laying out cash.
This colour is ROSE -- it is mid tone rose which means I don't look corpsey looking, or dreadfully blue --it goes on beautifully like all the Voluptes and stays on leaving a soft rose stain... notice, I say Rose and not pink as I don't consider this to be pink.
Depending on what I wear on my cheeks -- a peachy/pink or a soft rose, or a beige blush, it seems to change slightly and can look a bit pinky/coral -- it is fascinating.
I adore this colour and will keep purchasing it as long as they make it... and, you won't regret having it in your stash come spring/summer.

I really love this colour but I could not to tell you why, other than the fact that it just looks great on me. It is not too overstated, but definitely not understated. Just fantastic for bringing a nice elegant pink tone to my lips. The formula is of course lovely, goes on smoothly, great pigmentation, and while the initial glossiness wears off, the colour manages to stay for quite a long time. Yep, my new favorite lipstick, I would definitely repurchase. :)

This is a beautiful shade of pink for a lipstick..not too bright, but yet not your everyday color. I much prefer nudes in the way of color, but when I feel I need a splash of color this would be it. Truly a lovely shade of pink!

gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous. this is a great mid tone pink that is NEUTRAL!!! not blue based, not yellow based. opacity is perfect in one coat. like all Volupte lipsticks, goes on very creamy but the beauty of this product is the slip seems to evaporate and the color holds on to lips well for hours. i think Rouge Voluptes have the superlative lipstick formula. i love this color for everyday and night. a beauty
