I went to a store to buy Parure Gold (#02) of Guerlain, but it was out of stock. I got two pouch samples of Time Response Skin Renewal Foundation. I tried it out for 1 week and bought it. The reaction of new cosmetics to my skin usually comes in a day, so one week trial was good enough for me. I have used this foundation for 2 weeks, and Iím very satisfied with it. I had used the Parure Gold for about 3 and half years. I liked it. However, the Time Response Skin Renewal Foundation evens out my complexion more and has more coverage without heavy feeling compared to the Parure Gold.
It doesnít make my skin break out.
The shade #104 matches for my complexion very well.
Itís is easy to apply. It has light to medium coverage.
It lasts long enough for me. I usually wear cosmetics for at most 8 hours. I donít have to reapply anything except for sun protection when I spend time outside.
It is not oily at all, and it keeps my face moisturized. In addition, the particles of this foundation are very fine, so it rarely cracks on the fine lines unless I reapply a lot on the areas with fine lines. For your reference, I have smile lines. T-zone is a little oily, but other parts are normal to dry.
My only complaint of this foundation is that I donít like its fragrance. The range of shades is not wide, so it might be an issue for some people to find a right shade.
This foundation is a little expensive, but it is worth it for people who have a sensitive, acne prone-skin. Iíll buy it again unless it brings about troubles to my skin or I find a better foundation. Iíll repost if I find any issue of this foundation. Even though this product says SPF 18, you shouldnít count on it for sun protection.
Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate 5%, Titanium Dioxide 4.15%, Zinc Oxide 0.98%
Pros: absolutely natural, undetectable finish, luminous yet no detection of glitters, (not even minute particles) just glowy, in a non-oily kind of way. The product is a creamy-liquid, but just a small amount is needed for the entire face. I tried it with & without primer, either way, it just melts into the skin. It comes in a sealed glass bottle, when press, small amount of product will ďoozeĒ from the circled ďorificeĒ, convenient & hygienic. It makes me look so rested & tranquil, not at all with make-up on.
Honestly I can comment on the longevity as I don't need to be out for more than 4 hours & the weather now is in the early teens.
Con: For those with major issues, going over areas like hyperpigmentation with this product is not going to do the job, my suggestion, followed with a concealer. Also those with pitted acne scars, this foundation is not going to camouflage. The price is Cad $100 which can be quite a put-off.
I have major pigmentation issues & just go over those areas with concealer (Cinema Secrets) afterwards, no big deal.
Time Response is the Korean cosmetic line geared towards the international market. In Canada, I think only Holt in Toronto carried this product. All shades in the #100 has a pinkish tone; while the #200 has a yellowish tone. I am NC 35 & used #204. My skin is dry with slightly oily T-zone. I may cautious those with oily skin to proceed with caution.
In short, I totally love this fdn. Now it can join my CdP, Sisley, YSL, Cinema Secrets to be my Top 5 !!!
