Nothing special with this mascara. It's not great and it's not bad. It's average. I have to agree with other reviewers that it is buildable while still looking "natural". Bought thus for 7$ at CVS. It can be more Id it's not on sale

I am in love with this mascara. The price is totally fair, but if you got what you paid for then it should be more. This mascara goes above and beyond. It never clumps, it stays curled, it doesn't flake, it is easy to remove but doesn't fade on its own, the packaging is nice and the brush and formula are fantastic. Absolute favorite DS mascara.

This mascara didn't work for me. It doesn't give a good impact with making the lashes fuller or extending it. I prefer the other cover girl mascara (the one in the orange packaging) I was happy with that one more.

I don't love this mascara but I don't hate it. It's just a mediocre mascara that gives some volume, a little length and i really don't like the brush. This is the type of mascara you take on a few dates but after two months of steady dinner and movie dates you can only see faults and you dump it one night over the phone and eat one mini tub of ice cream before hitting the next store and chatting up some handsome new mascara that promises better results. Yes i realise that is a bit weird but thats how this mascara is. I wouldn't buy it again. Maybe its just me but it smells weird

I genreally don't like CoverGirl mascaras. They all seem to flake. But I tried this one hoping it would be different. It wasn't. It gave me very little length and volume, flaked like crazy, and I hated the brush. It has a stumpy little wand with no bristles on the tip. Very difficult to get those inner corner lashes.

I really lube up, so smudging and smearing is an issue. I was going out of town a month ago and needed mascara and someone recommended Definicils by Lancome. I went to the Lancome counter and they were out of what I was recommended, so I bought this Hypnose kind. I didn't use it until I was on my trip. It was HORRIBLE. Wet, major clumps, hard to hold brush. I knew I couldn't live with it for a week, so I walked from the hotel to this little drugstore down the street. I am looking at the mascara displays, started chatting with this girl and she suggested LashBlast. I hated the orange packaging---can we say BRIGHT---but I was rushed and aggravated. So I buy it. And now I know that girl was my make-up guardian angel. It's got this cool brush-comb applicator---I call it a "crush"---and the mascara itself is not too goey, not too dry---it's just right and it goes on without clumping and defines every lash---I don't know if it's the brush or the mascacra, actually, but it looks pretty dang natural and gives me LASHES! No smudging or smearing either, though there are some flakes under my eyes after 16 hours or so of living life. Do I recommend it---I have been preaching LashBlast to all my friends! And I returned that damn Hypnose goo as soon as I got home.

I've been using this mascara for quite sometime now. I have literally next to nothing as far as lashes go and for me, this mascara works the best. It doesn't clump and goes on perfectly the very first couple of swoops. The best part is that once it is on, I don't get those little specks on my eyelids like I do with other mascaras because it dries instantly. Definitely not a wet mascara. The best part about this mascara, I found it in Costco and got 3 of them for the price of one. That was a huge score for me.

This is a mascara I bought because I have a habit of always buying mascaras to try to see which one is the most favorable. The mascara comes in a basic, plain bottle but the bottle color varies depending on which last blast you buy. The brush is way too big for even coat. When I put on this mascara, my lashes were extremely clumpy and the brush doesn't have the long bristles that I like on mascara. This is just an all around disappointing mascara and I will not buy again.

In itself this is on OK mascara; however, compared to Lash Blast Volume it really doesn't stand up. It's like this a training wheels version. It might be a little unfair to compare this to something else though, so to consider it on its own merits - it will add some volume, a bit of length and is buildable without clumping. It dries quickly, has very little flaking, and removes easily. It's adequate but not outstanding.

I bought this because I had an event to go to and I forgot my makeup at a friends' place.
SO IMPRESSED. My photo is the one uploaded with one eye untouched and the other with mascara on it. That's just ONE coat.

And another mascara that I just hate. It's got to be something with the mascara wand because I just despise it. It's so fat and awkward (just like the regular lash blast). This mascara does nothing special for my lashes whatsoever, in fact its a pain in the butt to apply and just doesn't do it for me. Won't be buying this again.

I had to buy this on a whim because I forgot ALL my makeup. I thought it was a bit pricey for a drugstore brand but the product placement in Whip It must have made an impression on me. I can't believe how much I love this! Two layers and my lashes and seriously double the size and length and it looks natural, not clumpy! I guess now I don't have to keep looking for the perfect mascara at Sephora anymore.

In general I like this mascara and used it for a long time, however I started using Maybelline False Fiber mascara and now prefer that. I have no problem with the wand, it doesnt flake or smudge. I can get great looking lashes, voluminous and long, however, I have to put on 3 or 4 coats!! That is my only beef with this mascara, it became very time consuming! FYI, I have straight average lashes, not puney, but not super long either.

I use about 15 layers of this and it really gives my lashes that deep black romantic doe eyed look. Truly gorgeous and relatively inexpensive. I've heard that people dont think this does much, I've used MAC mascara, Lancome mascara, Estee Lauder, the original Lashblast, etc. And this is the most buildable.

I bought this mascara because i've used lashblast before so i figured fusion couldn't be too bad and i've been using Falsies for a long time so i decided i would just switch it up.
This mascara doesn't flake. But it doesn't really build up. For example if you put on two coats you won't get a change really. I do like that it seperates my lashes and makes them look longer. I tried layering it with my falsies and it looked great.
Lashblast fusion is nice if you want a casual look but if you want your eyes to really POP, try falsies by maybelline.

This is by far my favorite mascara because the formula is great, and the wand makes the application process quick and painless. I buy this in “Very Black,” and I love that the formula doesn’t smear or flake. I don’t want to know what sort of scary chemicals and unholy ingredients dear Cover Girl puts in this stuff, but it looks the same by 10 p.m. as it does when I apply it at 7 a.m., which is awesome. The wand is amazing because it’s not long, so it’s easy to get every last lash, and the bristles themselves are also short, so it’s easy to apply from bottom to tip.
I’m still amused when cosmetics companies like to advertise mascaras as making your lashes look big and long because the mascara wand and brush is big and long (you know, in the same way that applying a BIG tube of lipstick will make your lips look bigger or using foundation out of a long, thin tube will make your face look long and thin—totally logical), but luckily this mascara comes with a short, easy-to-handle applicator.
I recommend this product. The packaging is a bit oversized and clunky, but it’s relatively cheap, easy to find, and works wonderfully. I’ve tried many different mascaras from both dept. and drugstores, and this is by far my favorite.

This is my HG mascara! Before this mascara I was having to buy waterproof in every mascara I bought, and while that's good for certain occasions, it's not ideal for everyday wear, so when I found that this one stayed all day and it wasn't waterproof, I was hooked.
I don't have super thin eyelashes to begin with, so the volume and length promise holds truth for me. I love that this gives my lashes such nice definition without causing them to be extremely stiff and clumpy.
However, I'm not the biggest fan of the brush, it's big and bulky which causes the mascara so spread to my eyelid, and I have to remove it with makeup remover and a cotton swab, but for the final look, I can deal with a few extra steps. Lastly, the price isn't to wallet-friendly, I paid $11 for this at CVS, and for a Covergirl product, that's crazy. If I can find anything else better than this for cheaper, I'll definitely change, but for now I'll stick with this one, it's amazing! :)

I really don't like this stuff. The finished look after I apply it to my lashes is nice, but the whole time I am applying it, I am silently cursing it and trying to just get it on before I throw it across the room. I'm not one to normally let little things get to me or be suddenly aggro over next to nothing, but this mascara really bring out the rage. Not exactly a nice addition to my daily routine.
Things I don't like: the fat package. the HUGE plastic bristle brush the keeps me from getting the corner lashes and feels like applying mascara with a pineapple. the dry dry formula that takes like a million strokes to get one coat and then 2-3 coats to get a nice result. the charcoal grey color of the "Black" which might work if your lashes are already dark, but is awful for my blonde lashes.
Things I do like: the finished look, although its a bit wimpy in my book. (i like the doll-eyed look.)
I will try to finish this up, but I doubt I will make it without getting pissed and tossing it. I can't believe everyone likes this so much!
