Absolute "holy grail." This is the only SPF cream I have ever WANTED to have on my skin, which is relentlessly greasy at the times of year when one really wants SPF on. Amazingly, it actually delivers as promises, and 'mattifies' -- and sinks right into the skin. The effect lasts and lasts, but you don't feel a thing on your face.
If this came in a miniature glass jar for $60 I would grumble and moan about the price, but keep purchasing. I have never found anything else that works so well, despite years of hunting.
Rather unhappily this has recently been discontinued. If you liked this, please contact the company (easy to do via their Facebook pages) and plead for its return. Clearly this was a very good line -- I have also tried and liked the "Finishes" pump-bottle cleanser -- that was not on the market for long enough to find its niche. :(

I purchased this product because it was on sale at Target a while ago. I don't usually use it as an every day moisturizer, but I have been using it for the past few days and I'm pretty impressed! Compared to my usual lotion, this one makes my face much less shiny, which is good for days when I don't wear much face makeup. I have found it to be a nice smooth base layer underneath my foundation and powder on days when I wear more makeup. I am prone to breakouts and this moisturizer hasn't cause any so far! I also like the packaging because it naturally sits upside down and you will be able to get all of the lotion out when it gets to the end. Go gravity!

It works great in conjunction with my Almay TLC foundation but sometimes I wear it alone with some powder when just feeling lazy.

This stuff did not work at all. I didn't notice any difference with this. It made my face oily. Waste of money. I would not repurchase this ever again. I actually think this has been discontinued, & I can't say I'm upset about that. At least there will be room for something else that's useful on the shelves at Walmart. continued >>

It's glittery. That's why it 'minimizes' it. I hated it. So much. It made my skin feel greasy, it looked a little shiny and a lot sparkly. Pass.

Ok, first off, I don't use this for my face. On my face, it just doesn't really seem to do much, and I prefer the Finnish Lumene products for moisturizing/anti-aging. That said, this lotion does wonders for my legs! I know it sounds strange, but after I shave, sometimes it seems like the "pores" or whatever you want to call the hair follicles, are irritated or something, and they look dark. So even freshly shaven, my legs were still looking dotty up close. I had purchased this product months ago to try on my face, and quit using it, but left it in the bathroom cabinet. One day it occurred to me to try this on my legs, and I am so glad I did. It makes my legs so soft, and the "dots" are less noticeable after I use it. What I really love is that it's not greasy and absorbs perfectly. If you've been unsatisfied with this lotion for face, try it on your legs. I love it!

Not good for me. I have dry skin and tried this on a recommendation. Turns out it was not enough moisture and I did not see any visible pore correction. Keep in mind that I do have really dry skin, so dry I can put olive oil on and still need a cream. I am sure this could work for some people, but I would be surprised if it "perfected" anyone's pores.

I absolutely HATE this product! i was planning on buying Clean and Clear's mattifying moisturizer, but they were out so I bought this one. I've bought the pore perfecting cleanser too and it was awful, but I bought this thinking that somehow, it would be different. WORST mistake of my life! It made my skin worse, i'm breaking out, peeling a little bit, my skin is just irritated and it feels absolutely awful and disgusting! I'm still trying to get this under control. My skin isn't even that sensitive, so thats not the reason. Jusst don't EVER EVER EVER buy this product!

I am SUPER surprised that I actually like this moisturizer. I got a sample as an extra in a swap and had to use it a couple times when I didn't have my regular moisturizer at hand. (I keep it in my purse) I like it. Most Clean & Clear products I've tried have wreaked havoc on my sensative skin. They burn, don't moisturize or clean, and are just horrible. This stuff felt nice on my skin, actually felt like it was moisturizing and penetrating the surface and didn't aggrivate my skin at all. I am going to use the rest of my sample to make sure, but I think I'll actually be buying the full size soon. continued >>

This is a really good moisturizer, but only in the summer if you have combination skin. This really dried out my cheeks and will not work for the winter. But I will definitely use it in the summer, when my skin tends to be more on the oily side. The spf is is low but it feels smooth and doesn't give me the ghostly white complexion. Best part: unlike other sunscreens, I do not break out and it doesn't make my face greasy.

I am on the fence about this. I bought it because I have a light diffusing sort of eye cream, one that like this, appears white with an iridescent sheen to it. The eye cream is quite expensive and does not contain any spf. I bought this thinking it would be just as good plus give that glow to the rest of my face. I just find it okay. I can use it under my very sensitive eyes with no problem, though it lacks something the other cream has. I mainly use it above my upper lip to make that area a little brighter and to avoid melasma (with the spf). I think its nice on the neck as it makes skin there look brighter, somewhat smoother. Not bad, but not as lovely as I'd hoped for.
I said yes I'd re-buy because for the price this is a good day cream with spf for under eyes and for the neck although the spf is so low, its to be used for incidental sun exposure only.

I'm surprised this got such bad reviews.. It isn't the best moisturizer, so I don't use it for nighttime moisturizing, but I use it underneath my makeup. I wouldn't say it makes my pores look any smaller or any more "perfect" but it dries to a nice matte/satin finish which is great for my makeup. I just put it on right after the shower, before I do my makeup, and while I'm waiting for it to dry (just a minute or two), I do my hair and after that, I can do my whole foundation/face routine. Rated it 4 lippies just because it doesn't do what it says and it isn't that moisturizing, but I do enjoy using it before my makeup and would repurchase.

YES YES YES YES YES I'm so excited to talk about this moisturizer!!! Haha kind of a funny story how I bought this.. I found a coupon online for $2 off any C & C product so you know, I had to go use it right away because it the coupon was about to expire. So i spent like half an hour in the Safeway trying to choose which product to use the coupon on, and came to a decision to take this. I got home and was so excited that I used it right away. It comes in this box and the tube thing is so much smaller than the box so initially I was disappointed. I was also disapppointed because I hated the smell. But now after a few months of using it I am really in love with the smell. Which is weird. Whatever. So after I use a cleanser and then I put this on my face is even softer! Plus it has SPF 15 so yeah. Also a great thing is that I don't need alot of it to cover my face so it will probably last me a while. Maybe that's just me though... Really love this, really cheap too. Would buy 100000 more of this moisturizer in a heartbeat. continued >>

I love the smell. It is light weight and leaves a beautiful finish! I have had no problems at all using it. I do find it expensive for a DS moisturizer, and given that the bottle is so small...I just really hate having to run to the store all of the time to replace it. Plus, I have to make a special trip to get it at a decent enough price, so I often times just use something else. Frankly, I guess size does matter to me in this particular arena LOL!

I have used other C &C moisturizers before with no problem, but this one was a problem. I put it on after I washed my face and from the moment it touched my skin it burned and itched! I immediately washed it off and took it back for a refund. I don't have sensitive skin so the fact that it reacted like that was enough for me to know this was not good for my skin. Would never repurchase! continued >>

This is a light-weight moisturizer that leaves a silky and slightly dewy finish. It does not stay on well. On hot summer days, it wipes off with sweat, and make-up slips RIGHT OFF. Even worse, the slight SPF (15) does not provide enough sun protection, and triggers an allergic reaction each time I wear it. My skin becomes hot, red and irritated. During the hot summer months if I sweat profusely, the sunscreen mixed with sweat will produce a burning sensation, damaging the skin and eventually peel off days later.
This is a light-weight moisturizer that reactes poorly with my combination skin. No noticeable effect on the appearance of pores. I feel that Johnson & Johnson (J&J) tried to create a drugstore counterpart to an higher-end moisturizer. Unfortunately, the lack of staying power and skin-irritating properties makes this moisturizer a fail in my book.
PROs:
- light-weight moisturizer
- silky, dewy, non-oily finish
CONs:
- low SPF (15)
- expensive for a drugstore moisturizer
- extremely poor wear (slips right off with sweating & blotting)
- chemical sunscreen triggered an allergic reaction to my skin (red, irritated skin)
Will not re-purchase. continued >>

I bought this hoping it would be a good moisturizer for my combination, acne prone skin. It seemed to go on greasy, but at the same time didn't give my skin enough moisture. Also I started breaking out worse than usual a couple days after I started using it AND I got this weird rash on my forehead. It was a waste of money for me.
(OH and it stinks!)

I literally drove to three Walmart's & one Target (in one day) to look for this product. To try to save myself from looking crazy, I was going to NYC for a week & I needed a moisturizer with SPF since I'd be walking everywhere (so the less than 3oz thing paid off!). Anyway, I finally found it at the last Walmart & I noticed the price ranged from $4.47-$7.04 USD for this product; I ended up paying $5.47 before tax, after a dollar off coupon.
TO THE ACTUAL PRODUCT~ The consistency is thick, which is probably good for my skin type (I notice more liquid consistencies make me oily), but easy to rub in. It also doesn't make me oily (I have combination skin: normal cheeks & chin, oily forehead & nose), nor does it break me out. I don't notice any 'pore perfecting', but that's probably because I have acne & I don't have visible pores. It moisturizes just right, especially since while I was in NY I started an acne regimen that dried out my face.
I definitely recommend this product & it was worth all the driving around to find it :) continued >>

This moisturizer was o.k. I found I still had dry patches after applying. Also, after about a week of using, my face got a raw sort of rash on my cheeks. I'm thinking it might be the sunscreen in it? Every time I give this another chance I end up with the same reaction.

I bought this moisturizer because I am on Retin-A, so I need sunscreen in my moisturizer. I was looking for the mattifying moisturizer but couldn't find it, so I settled for this. I have noticeable (although not huge or anything) pores on my nose and cheeks. This moisturizer had a good texture and I liked the SPF, but it didn't make a difference for my pores and made my face look shiny. I wouldn't repurchase, but I will use the rest of it up.
