amazing black with dark green shimmer. 2 coats and you get 100% coverage. good consistency: not too goopy, not to watery. came with a dark green ring to match the polish lol

This is an amazing blackened green shimmer. It looks more black on the nail, but in the light, it is FANTASTIC. Zulu is far too expensive for me, but in the meantime, I am perfectly happy with Envy. I have no complaints, save for the fact that these are slightly smaller-than-normal bottles for $5. It's not a big deal though. I still love this color!

Black with a forrest green shimmer, Chanel's Black Satin meets NARS's Zulu. It looks much greener in the bottle, but on the nails it's the darkest blackened green; the shimmer is visible in strong light or sunlight (looks like a mallard duck's head feathers in the sunlight). The wear was pretty impressive for such a cheapie dark polish: I noticed minor tip wear and two or three tiny chips on the fourth day, but this *is* a high-maintenence shade and I wasn't expecting much. The formula for this new line of Hard Candy polish seems closer to the original formula (not the one in the bigger bottles from the early 2000's, the good old mid- to late 1990s formula) in that it doesn't flake off my nails in sheets by the second day. The bottles come shrink-wrapped, the ring that comes with it is even chintzier than the original (hard plastic rather than soft rubber) and it's sold only at Wal Mart, but I still liked it enough to give it five stars.
