Purchased the MagiX foundation because it looked like a good replacement for the Paula's Choice tint I have been using. I was looking for just a smidge more coverage - and the Paula's Choice foundation was starting to make my skin look shiny. So far - this is great stuff! My skin looks natural - not over-shiny or over-matte. It gets rid of some of the summer ruddiness. The Nude color blends perfectly with my skin. And I don't feel like I am wearing foundation - even towards the end of the day. So far, I have not run into the separation or oxidation issues others have run into - but my tube is pretty new.
I first got this in sand beige but I quickly realized that it was too light for my summer skin but I love it anyway so I repurchased in medium beige and am saving the other one for the cooler months! Anyway, I must first say that yes, this DOES have a fragrance to it but generally those cosmetic fragrances don't bother me. I think it smells quite nice actually! if you hate fragrance then this foundation is probably not for you.
When applied with your fingers, you can feel exactly how smooth and creamy this foundation is. I love it! It almost feels like a mousse but blends and looks as smoothly as a liquid. It is by far, one of the most distinct foundations I've ever tried, I've never tried anything with the same texture.
I only bought this a few weeks ago but it is my favorite foundation now:) The squeeze tube is easy to use and extremely hygienic, no need to get germs inside the container like other open bottle foundations.
You can use a brush or wedges, or sponges with this but I honestly prefer to use my hands (even though I normally don't like doing that with foundation). It's just so smooth and easy to blend that I don't feel like brushes are needed.
I don't have really sensitive skin that is known to break out with products, but it's possible for me and this hasn't broken me out! I know there is paraffin somewhere in the ingredients (which is mineral oil) but I don't think my skin usually has an effect with that type of oil. I would love it even more if it was oil free though.
I give this a 4 out of 5 rating just because I wish it was oil free and it doesn't have the BEST coverage but it's still my favorite foundation for everyday use. If I was really badly broken out, I wouldn't trust it to cover and conceal much so I'd leave that up to a good concealer.
Oh and it has a little bit of SPF(10)! That's always nice, nice for summer if you're going to the beach or something.

Oxidised from a natural look to an oompa loompa look. Gosh. Went all watery in the tube after a couple of weeks and could not get back to normal after paying £12 for my tube!! Made my skin super oily, more then i am normally. Basically, this foundation is crap. Do not buy, please!
I liked the coverage. Went on great. I have oily skin and within a couple of hours I had to start blotting. I had to blot every couple of hours. I would love it if it didn't make my skin a grease pit. Good price, good product IF YOU DON'T HAVE OILY SKIN!
This was okay, but I felt like I was wearing a mask. The longevity of this also sucked, and I'll agree it oxidized and separated. I'm not really a big Avon fan, because my sensitive skin breaks out from almost every single thing they put out.
I really like this for my oily skin and large pores. It blurs them, and has good coverage that stays on a long time. Only problem is that the product separated after a few months. Even after shaking the tube to remix it, I still had this problem. If they fixed this flaw, this would be a HG and I'd rebuy.

ok i really like the formula of this foundation & the coverage that it gives.. but its way too dark & orange undertoned for my cool pale skin.. i have porcelain skin & its hard to find a fndt that matches which i dont hold against fndts bc i know its nearly impossible to match me.. theyll always be too dark.. but i am using this in summer time esp bc it helps warm up my face a bit. i just use a few dots on the contours of my face mixed with my lighter foundations & i love the way it turns out...
i love the mousse consistency that this offers. i really wished the shade Ivory was a little bit lighter.. im not sure if the Light Ivory is still too dark/warm undertoned or not since there isnt many reviews on the shades themselves. i really love the MagiX products. i wish i had a rep bc id def buy the MagiX Face Perfector since its one of the really good primers ive tried with a great price tag...
So i would def repurchase this foundation if it were to match me a lot more. but i have found more accessible fndts that i can mix together to make my face look good.
i love the squeezable tube...its not too hard to squeeze & i actually think it looks pretty.. ive never had problems getting foundation out..it comes out very easily and not too much & not too little since you do got the right size top for it to go onto hand/palette...
It gives such a nice satin finish & i like that it covered up my flaws/imperfections..its not full coverage nor medium, id say a good light coverage..its a mousse foundation but not as thick as the maybelline mousse fndt. this is def more of a whipped mousse & that means it spreads so nicely but doesnt blend right off. its def good for normal to dry skin types.. maybe even combo skin.. im not sure how it would hold up on oily skin..it may be good..ive never had any breakouts or any clogging of my pores..it feels very lightweight..def dont leave behind that masky or heavy feel... i absolutely adore it...
now that im thinking about it..im just going to mark Yes for a repurchase bc i may try the Light Ivory since it wasnt available when i purchased the Ivory shade.
Ivory is def warm undertoned
i like this foundation..it is around $7 and i think its worth the price you get around 1 oz like typical fndts.. & it spreads out & blends so that you dont have to use a whole bunch to get ur face covered up.. continued >>

Oxidized like crazy, the formula separates after a while if not used.
I used medium beige, and on my NC35-40 (summer) skin, it looked alright for 5 minutes, and alas, turned me into an oompa loompa within 30 minutes.
Even upon shaking rigidly, the silicone liquid still remains on top while the rest of the product (the colour portion) stayed at the bottom. The problem with Avon is, although they allowed return, the postage cost will exceed the product. Avon's colour scheme varies from product to product, I am referring to their foundation.
It seemed to me that Avon just throw their formula without much testing, and after a little while, its being discontinued. A hit or miss with usually misses.
I onced wrote Avon Canada about the foundation shades, I described to them my light to medium shade with a yellow-beige undertone, with the understanding that they would tell me some shades that best match my skin tone. They responded by recommending a whole bunch of PINK tone, with the suggestion that PINK will make my skin less yellow. This is 2011, how ridiculous, saddly how those people in this corner of the world process :o(

i'm a rep and i've been dying to try this. i just picked it up because i had purchased the foundation adjuster and the foundations were $4 off. this applied beautifully and i had compliments how smooth my skin looked. it gave a nice flawless finish. however, i think this contributed to the breakouts that i'm suffering from today. i woke up with a large red white heads on my cheek. throughout the day, a few more small white heads popped up. This is the only different thing that I used. I'm hoping to clear my skin. Maybe i'll try this again someday. my skin didn't react this way with the Smooth Minerals Liquid. It worked well in the winter, but my skin is too oily right now for the Smooth Minerals Liquid to work well.
6/28/11- broke me out after i only used once. im afraid to try it again
edit 10/23/11: I decided to give this another try last week, and so far so good. This blends seamlessly into the skin. It applies nicely. My skin is combination. It's more oily in the summer and drier in the winter. It's starting to get drier again. This blends quite nicely over my dry areas. This also lasts all day. I wore it all day yesterday through a football game and a night out at the club, and I didn't have to touch up at all. Pure Beige is a good shade for me. This is light coverage in my opinion. More coverage than the Smooth Minerals liquid but less than the Ideal Flawless. This is buildable as well. This didn't irritate my skin this time around, which is a plus. Nice packaging too. This didn't transfer either like the Smooth Minerals liquid.

Since they discontinued the tinted compact version which I loved, I thought I would try this new liquid version. While it goes on like butter and the packaging is clean and easy, I would not repurchase. Why? Unlike the compact, the lightest version of this is too dark and too yellow. Although it does apply much lighter then it looks out of the tube, it is still too dark for this paleface.
I took a mark off for this. However, if you have light to medium complexion with yellow undertones this could work well for you. Why oh why did they take away the compact version?
