This is a lovely, cool rosy blush with iridescent shimmer throughout. When I first opened it I was scared of it, because I thought it would be far, far too shimmery to wear every day, and as I don't get out that much at night, I figured I had just wasted some money on something I'd never use. However, the shimmer can easily be toned down by buffing just a tad of powder over the top. It's also a great highlighter. It blends well and is easily buildable.
This is a fairly light color, so I would recommend it as a blush only for fair-to-light skin tones. I don't know that it would really show up much as color on medium or darker skin tones. However, as a highlighter, I believe it would probably be great on medium and darker skins, as well. It imparts a subtle but definite sheen, and has such a beautiful rosy glow to it, as opposed to the typical gold or silver highlighter.
I think I'm going to go back and look for more of the Luminous Shimmer Blush colors in even lighter tones so they can work as highlighters for me...they're that beautiful!
