I run the gamut with makeup - I own & wear everything from $3 Elf to $70 Guerlain. The majority of my shadows are higher-end, but this 99 cent single holds its own against any of them. The formula is incredibly creamy, smooth & pigmented. I would say this is *at least* as pigmented & creamy as MAC or Julie Hewett, if not more so. I would compare the texture of this shadow to Lorac or Urban Decay. It is smooth & buttery.I like to do an all-over wash of a nude, skin-tone color shadow, from lid to brow, after I apply my primer. I find it helps things blend easier. This is perfect for that on me (I am NW15). It is practically an exact dupe for MAC Brulee. The packaging is not fantastic - it isn't huge & wasteful, but it can be a little tough to open & feels somewhat cheap. For 99 cents however, I can't complain. Wet n Wild have the best, creamiest, most pigmented quality eyeshadows of anything in the drugstore. I would definitely recommend picking this one up.

This eyeshadow is one of my favourites. It's such a perfect shade: it highlights, without shimmer and without looking too white. I use it as an all over wash from lid to brow (with eyeliner) on 'lazy' days to even out my slightly discoloured lids. It helps to brighten my deep set eyes and is great to use as a browbone highlight with a more 'complicated' eye look. The price is fantastic as well, you just cannot go wrong with this.

I have repurchased this eyeshadow a few times. It not only makes a great highlight shade, but I use it from lash line to brow bone after I apply my eyeshadow primer. This makes blending eyeshadows so much easier! Won't be without this eyeshadow. Can't beat it for the price point!

This is one of my favorite and only single eye shadow. I use it with almost all of my eyeshadow looks from daytime to night time. I would certainly recommend and by again!

Nicely pigmented vanilla eyeshadow that's only 99 cents. Wish they'd make more colors.

I DO have something to say that might not yet have been said about this wonderful gem. Forget using it on the eyes -- it's the PERFECT purse-size emergency concealer/foundation! If I have to run in somewhere and I have a blemish on my face, or just want to touch up some red areas, I dig in my purse, open up this puppy, and start dabbing! It blends wonderfully and hides a lot! It is a Holy Grail product for me. I hope it's never discontinued!

This is a great highlight color for fair skin. It's a matte, very pale beige, more or less the same color as my NC15 skin. I previously was using Sally Girl eyeshadow in Beige as a browbone highlight, but am now on my second pan of Wet n Wild Brulee. My local drugstores sell it for $1.99, but I always buy it when it's 40% off at Rite Aid, preferably when there's a $1 off Wet n Wild coupon available, so I end up getting it for just 27¢ or something like that. The packaging is slim and decently sturdy, but it also is pretty easy to depot the eyeshadow in case you'd rather put it in your own magnetic palette. I use mine almost every day, and it lasts a pretty long time. I see no need to stray from it.

First off, the packaging is absolutely horrible. I have to use my teeth to open the shadow, but once you get inside it's fantastic. It's a super soft shadow, almost a little powdery though. The colour is perfect to set eyeshadow primer. It's so inexpensive as well, definitely worth trying out!

What's left to say? This little eyeshadow for so little money is a workhorse. This creamy, matte, shadow can be used in so many ways for the eyes. I've even used it as a setting powder on top of concealer. The color is one of the shades that was in great Wet nWild 6 pans, (which they should have as part of the permanent line). Just go get it now!

Brulee is the first eye shadow single I bought from Wet n' Wild. I was already familiar with their ColorIcon trios and 8 pan palettes, but never thought to pick up a single until it was recommended by the beauty blogger 15 Minute Beauty Fanatic who raved about this single. It retails here for 99 cents and sometimes there will be coupons/deals on WnW cosmetics so I can get it even cheaper. I use this every single time I apply eyeshadow. It's a great nude shadow all on it's own or I use it for a base over primer to layer other colors over and it makes them easier to blend too. I have just hit pan on this and I am definitely going to repurchase this beauty basic. This is the perfect nude for me. I am fair skinned but not porcelain and this is one of those colors that you can't see me wearing but it looks great on and I use for a natural eye look too a lot of days and simply add Nutty/Noisette for my crease and/or the outer v and Voila! 2 steps to an easy everyday look. The shadow is easy to get out of the pan with a shadow brush and really doesn't have any fallout at all if you don't overload your brush. This is a matte shade and does not show lines or creases or make my lids look crepepapery which some shadows can. I use this to set my undereye concealer too and you can't even see it, it blends right in with my skin and looks natural. I love this little shadow so much and it is indeed a basic must have item for me. Even better that it is priced at less than a dollar. I've been using this same single for 6 months now so it lasts a while too! After liking this so well, I did go back and get the other colors in the single line too. Over a primer this has great staying power and it's as good as much higher priced department store shadows. Buy this, it's a dollar well spent.
