I used this on my hair dry and I have coarse frizzy hair. It didn't do much for me. In fact, I had to get close to the mirror to see where the heck I sprayed because I seen no difference. From other reviewers, it looks like this product may work better applied wet. I will have to try that BUT the pump or at least mine .....sucks. It takes 10 tries of pumping to get one spray out. Needless to say, I am a little frustrated with this product. For the price, I was expecting to see SOME shine. I will continue my search ....

This is the money.
My mother owns a hair salon, and this is the only leave-in she uses on customers with dry hair. I took the hint and tried it out, and ever since, my other hair products have been sitting in the lonely dark under my sink. A few spritzes on damp hair is all I need, whether I'm heat styling or air-drying.

I love this stuff! I have several different hair types and textures on my head and none of them are good. It's flat, stringy, frizzy, dull, and puffy with a lot of "waves" that look more like straight hair that's been bent in a few places than actual S-shapes. Before I got this I'd tried countless other products to make my hair a little shiny and/or define my waves and none of them worked. Most often, I would end up with little frizzies that glistened in the light, which called even more attention to the problem. I'd also tried a few different heat protectors but they all made my hair feel gummy or stiff. I bought this on a whim because the price on the shelf was listed as like $6 or something. I was shocked when it rang up $20 at the register. If I hadn't looked at the wrong price tag I never would have bought this! But I'm so glad I did because it's the best stuff I've ever used. I spray it on damp hair before blow-drying and then just use a round brush to twist my hair in sections as I blow dry, then when I'm done I continue to twist it with my fingers for more definition. It turns out with a LOT less frizz and my waves have a lovely shape with a little bit of shine to them. This stuff also does not gum up my hair or make it puff out in weird places and it doesn't seem to weigh it down either. When I DON'T use it, my finger-twisting method doesn't even work and I have to flat-iron it just to cut some of the frizz and get rid of the pieces of hair that have wonkier shapes.
I still don't look like a hair model, but this product makes me happy. It claims to do 10 things but I think the best and most valuable aspects are that it seems to protect from heat, it adds a light, non-greasy shine, makes the little frizzies lay down, and makes hair a lot easier to shape. To me, it's worth the high price tag and I hope they never discontinue it.

I used this once, on dry hair. Hated it. I have coarse and dry hair (it was frizzy that day, because I styled my hair curly and curly hair always frizzes up for me), and this did nothing to help with split ends or frizz. I was very disappointed. The directions say you can use it on dry hair, but it had very little impact on me and looked greasy. I had a little more luck with the serum on wet hair, but this did not work well for me at all.

Love this spray, it leaves my hair shiny, soft, smooth - does not weight it down & it smells wonderful. It's practically miracle in a bottle for my hair. I wish i had discovered this prod earlier, would have saved my a ton of money trying out different stuff that doesn't work. It's a bit expensive for its size, i think, but totally worth it. HG status for me! continued >>

I technically don't own this spray, YET. But my friend is a cosmetologist and she used it to flat-iron my hair after she colored it. You must know that I am a MAJOR flat-iron and hair product junkie so if it's out there, I've most likely tried it. This stuff made my hair so unbelievably shiny and soft it didn't even feel like hair to me. I have naturally very dry/curly/long/thick hair that i've dyed a ton of colors and this spray made each individual hair feel like a perfect, bouncy strand of silk with zero greasiness or that slimy feeling you get with some sprays that just sit on top of your hair.
I've seen bad reviews of this product, but all I can say about that is they probably didn't use it as a flat-ironing spray. Anyway, I don't know where I can purchase this in my area, so my friend is getting a bottle for me. I can't wait. I don't know how much it retails for normally, but I'm pretty sure I'd pay anything for it since I've paid a lot of money for products that don't work half as well.

I was a little hesitant to try this because the leave in was an epic fail, but I was at target and I (being the product junkie that I am) took a stroll through the hair aisle and this just caught my attention. I really needed a good, light shine spray. It was between this and macadamia shine spray, but I was a little short on cash and this was a lot cheaper. The ingredients list looked quite appealing and it smelled really good, contrary to the leave in. This is a wonderful shine spray! Its nice and light but really adds shine and calms fly aways without leaving my hair greasy looking. I used it in wet hair too, then did a blow out and then added a finishing spray. This will definitely be staying in my hair arsenal, and I'd highly recommend this to anyone really.

This stuff is amazing. I use a lot of the "It's a 10" line including the leave-in, and the hair mask, but this is by FAR my favorite. I couldn't go without it. It has been so hot and humid here lately, that normally I wouldn't even try to wear my hair straight, but with this stuff, it's possible! I also use this when I'm flat ironing or using a curling iron on my hair as a heat protectant. It makes my hair super soft, and it very light-weight. It is a tad expensive - there is a store here that had it on sale for $11 a bottle, and I bought five! It really is worth the price though. My hair is wavy, coarse and highlighted.

This spray really works well in preventing frizz, promoting shine and helping keep my hair straight when humid. It doesn't feel like it's full of cones and my hair doesn't feel weighed down.
I do love the smell of this shine spray, however not so much for the actual leave in.
Hair is fine, wavy, highlighted and very dry.

My stylist used this on my hair, and it made it feel amazing, so I went out and got some! It's Pretty expensive though for me, I typically use the drug store kinda stuff. But it does add good shine and softens my super tight curly, damaged, coarse hair nice and soft. I only use it when I straighten my hair cause of the cost.. The only down side is that i feel that it wears off by the end of the day and I have to keep applying ): I just feel like my hair absorbs it all up or something! But it's still over all a great product!(:

Man I love this stuff. It is absolutely amazing, I'm on my 3rd bottle. Only thing I hate about it is the price. I spent $18 for a 4fl bottle, but that just goes to show how good it is if I'm willing to do that (three times!). It leaves my hair shiney and silky soft, and I love the scent (though it may be overpowering for some). I always get compliments on my hair when using this product and I definetly recommend it!

I am so happy to see that the ITS A 10 line is coming along with new products...so I ran out to buy this! I had to keep the Its a 10 family together. This product is really chock full of essential oils and well silcones, but it keeps my heavy blonde highlighted hair so shiny...my mom even commented that my hair looked wet....although it was dry and shiny! How about that! I love this line and hope they come out with more new items. 10 is the perfect number to throw into the label! ;)

This shine spray is very good. It claims to do all sorts of wonderful things for your hair, including: gives weightless shine, softens coarse hair, improveselasticity, antioxidant, environmental protection, anti-humidity and minimizes frizz, thermal protection, imparts control and manageability, seals and protects hair, locks in moisture.
Well, I can't attest to all of those, because many of them rely on you using the product while the hair is still wet, and I only use it as a finishing product when my hair is dry. I can say that it is a great glossing spray. It tames flyaways, is very lightweight, and gives a wonderful sheen to the hair. I recently (accidentally) dyed my hair black, and as we all know, black dyed hair has no shine to it at all. This spray was the only thing I could find that would give me some sparkle and make my hair come back to life. It does seem to seal the hair cuticle, and also fends off humidity pretty well...I have straight hair that doesn't hold curl very well, and when I use this, I find my curls stay longer and better, even when it is humid outside. I can use a LOT of this spray before it starts to make my hair look greasy, so it's very user-friendly. This seems to actually sink INTO my hair and condition it rather than sitting ON it the way most glossers do.
I give it a 4 overall, taking off 1 lippie due to price, which is $17.95 for 4 oz. I feel that's a bit steep, since I can find other glossing sprays for much less, although they may not be quite as good for my hair.
