I dk really like this product it smells sooo good! But i think you need to have flawless skin like no acne to use this as im a teenager and i have spots and tbh it made them more noticeable when i had foundation on than off but nice foundation but pricey!

Looove love love this foundation. I have very fair skin and the shade 103 ivory gives me flawless doll skin. It covers well and smells of watermelon (a little strong in my opinion). It will last all day and you only need a tiny amount of this to cover your whole face. I have dry skin and sometimes I mix it with my moisturizer and it still gives a really good coverage and a very natural looking result. The finnish is matte BUT with a really nice kind of ''glow''.
Perfect!!

This is my HG foundation - I actually love the MAC Matchmaster almost as well, but it tends to break me out if i wear it for more than a few days in a row. and has a bit of oil breakthru half way thru the day. Everlasting actually has a bit more coverage - making it a full coverage IMO - it lasts all day and if i take a moment a time or two thru the day to rebuff it with a mineral makeup brush, it melds my breakthru oil back into the foundation/skin and looks better than ever.
The trick in applying is to blend it a bit at a time as with all long wear foundations - this gives me and my large pores the nicest finish ever and doesn't actuate my lines and creases. My skin looks refined and finished with just a scant amount of my very red places showing thru. It's been very difficult to find a foundation with good coverage that doesn't look or feel heavy and wears wear, and doesn't accentuate my older skin.
My only two complaints are that the nozzle tends to clog so have to clean it out with a toothpick about every three days and that the shade range has nothing darker past Amber 112, which is about an NC30. So I have to mix it as I get more color in the warm months - I picked Lancome's new Teint Idole 24 hr. in a very dark shade so that i can add as little to my Clairins as possible to not mess with the formula and finish.
You will get a lot of lighter skin tone ranges out of this Clarin foundation, so sure to get a match there.
I've tried so many foundations thru my life in all price ranges, and this one I keep coming back to!

My HG foundation! Finally a color light enough for me! Not only that but it gives amazing coverage, smells fantastic and lasts forever. FYI, I don't even use concealer anymore because the coverage is so good! It still looks pretty natural though. I also like that I can use my hands easily for application, and the packaging just looks pretty! I also feel like it self matifies so if I'm low, or out of my Mac msfn, I can skip a powder!

Ok, this is my first review on any product, I have been searching for months and months for a new foundation. For years I was using mac studio fix fluid (nw20), but felt it was time for a new foundation plus only one store sold mac so it was hassle having to get it. I felt my make up was quite boring and it didn't last as long as I wanted, so I ventured for clarins everlasting. I was matched to the colour honey which was perfect. I have combination skin but still managed to find this hard to "look right" and blend. I was using a foundation brush. I found it did cake/crease on parts on face but it does have a good coverage. It will definitely last months so the price is ok for this. Sadly 6 weeks after using this my skin has broken out terribly, i have red patches with little lumps on my cheeks and dry patches under my eyes. This was my first clarins products and it will be my last. I don't suffer with bad skin nor have I sensitive skin but this was the only new product I used on my face. I will keep searching for the right foundation but this was a big let down. :(

Finally I've found the foundation for my spring skin. My skin was very dry during winter and as the spring turns into summer little by little, my skin has gotten better and oilier. I don't have flaking anymore and the dry parts have normalized to a point where my combination skin is rather normal to oily than normal to dry. I already have good winter and summer foundations but nothing for spring time so it was about time to get this.
I don't recommend purchasing this the way I did. Or actually any High End products. This is my first product from Clarins and I bought this foundation without trying out a sample first. This time the risk was worth it and as I'm such a foundation junkie as another reviewer put it I wouldn't really have minded if it hadn't work for me. I would've just stored it and tried another time.
The foundation feels light on the skin and it has this faint cucumber scent to it. I don't feel that I have anything on when wearing it. It has a good coverage. I wouldn't say it's a full coverage but it's not medium either. It's somewhere in between. I've been on the look out for a full coverage foundation but lately I've felt that I don't really have need for it although my skin is uneven, has few scars, red cheeks, blemishes and so on. I just feel more home with medium+ foundations.
Although Everlasting is a liquid foundation it sets quickly. So don't be fooled by it and don't dry to apply it on your whole face at once. Take some foundation on your brush and work in sections. Left cheek, right cheek, forehead, chin... As usual, less is more. And although it sets quickly I've found it to be easy to work with. You just have to be fast with it.
At the moment, I've noticed only one con and for me that is actually a good feature. Fresh application sets into a matte finish but after few hours it gets a bit more dewy as the face gets oilier. But because the effect is more dewy rather than shiny I'm a little hesitant to call it a con. I actually like it and if I wanted to get rid of it I could easily dust it back to matte again with some powder. Also worth to note, and this is a big deal with me as foundations usually cake quite easily on me, this does not. Even after powdering it's all good. But if you have an oily skin I think it might turn into a shiny mess.
I've worn this foundation 11hrs already today and It's still good. But bare in mind I always wear primer underneath my foundations and I usually spray some Skindinävia setting spray on top of them. With this setups it hasn't caked, moved or oxidized. Besides cakiness I've always had few other major problems. Due to my skin's excess dryness and oiliness foundations usually move and fade easily if I haven't been careful with application. With this I can be quite careless and it won't budge after it has set.
Also if foundation oxidizes it's a huge deal breaker for me. I'm pretty fair so it's very noticeable when foundations oxidizes on me. This is one of the rare ones that doesn't do that. I was a bit hesitant when the MUA in KICKS counter recommended one shade darker for me as I was afraid that if it oxidized I would look quite horrible. It's really embarrassing when you drive home from work and you look yourself from the rear view mirror and you see an orange mutant looking back at you. Thankfully this foundation hasn't done it to me. Now that I've used it for a week, about 14hrs a day, I haven't noticed any changes in the shade at all. Btw, car's rear view mirrors are great for checking out your make up on day light. They are just brutally honest.
The packaging is what you would expect from high end product. It's a tall glass container with a pump. The cap is quite loose and it comes off way too easily.
Pros
Staying power,
Doesn't fade,
Doesn't cake
doesn't oxidize
Covers well although I recommend using concealer for the worst parts
Leaves nice finish, matte that on my skin turns dewy during the day
Doesn't need powder but if applied won't turn cakey
Cons
Doesn't stay matte all day (although I think the resulting dewy finish looks good. On me at least as my skin isn't that oily)
Loose cap comes off easily
Might set too fast for some people
Pro & Con
Has SPF 15 but will flashback due to Titanium Dioxide
What worked for me might not work for you. But if you feel like you have similar skin type with me then I would wholeheartedly recommend at least to try out a sample of this foundation. continued >>

I really like this stuff. I'm a foundation junkie, get sick of them extremely quickly and move onto something else, but this is one of my favourites and I've actually re-purchased- unheard of for me! It has really good coverage, even for dark circles under my eyes, from memory I don't think I even bothered with concealer when I wore it (I use MAC studio sculpt now only because I prefer a dewy finish). The finish on this is like satin, really smooth and lovely, and I looove the way Clarins products smell - really fresh and pleasant to put on. I just wish it came in a dewy finish style and it would be my HG and be granted 5 lippies! But, I have no doubt at some point I will want to change things up again and reach for my trusty Clarins :)

This made my skin break out, big time. I was expecting better from Clarins, especially since I paid $40 for this! I wanted to like it so badly, since the coverage was light, natural and long-lasting. Sigh! Back to the makeup counter I go...

WOW I have FINALLY found a foundation that is long lasting, natural, full coverage, AMAZING!!!
ONLY 1 CON!!!
Any photos taken with a flash my face is as white as white!!! :( So unfortunately this can only be my day foundation and I am now on a hunt for another amazing foundation that doesn't make me look like a ghost in photos that I can wear out! Absolutely devastated about this because otherwise I would be set! Oh and it doesn't matter if you put powder or bronzer on also, you will still come out white :(

I have oily skin and I am always on the hunt for a long-lasting foundation. I like this one because it doesn't feel heavy and doesn't look cakey. I actually enjoy the smell, it smells like fresh melon and only last for a few seconds. I would rather put this on my skin than Revlon colorstay, MAC, or ELDW. All of those are thick and fell gross on my skin. The one thing that bugs me is how pale I look in pictures with this on.

Im a make up rep, and a make up junkie. Im especially picky with foundations, as I believe having a perfect 'canvas' is the 1st step to beautiful make up.
This is an unquestionable MUST HAVE!!!!! It is, hands down, the best foundation I've evr encountered! many foundations change colour as they oxidize, this stays true. Many of the long-wear foundations go patchy thru the day, this stays impeccable!
I use the 105 nude. When I wear it, I catch myself admiring my skin in evry mirror I notice. The mirror thing isn't cool, I hate when I catch people 'admiring' themselves in mirrors. But this stuff is crazy, perfect skin perfect skin perfect skin perrrrfect skin.
Smells so fresh, like melon. Crazy

On my second bottle of this foundation.... it rules! Amazing coverage - I'm NW20 and have a very rosy complexion and like even coverage. Feels great on skin and blends easily. I am a foundation junkie and find this to be one of my favourites - I rarely have to buy another bottle! Highly recommended!

Foundation that ACTUALLY covers? Look no further. My long time hunt has been over ever since I started selling and using this foundation. With other foundations I would have to use double the amount for less coverage, and also fuss with high coverage concealer and way too much powder. Everlasting covers every flaw, smells like vacation in a bottle, lasts all day, keeps skin matte, doesn't clog pores, and has built in SPF 15. I have combination skin that scars easily from blemishes so it does wonders for my confidence to have the appear of perfect skin every day. Only a hint of powder is needed over top and very little concealer (maybe just a high quality under eye concealer used very lightly to diffuse fine lines). I work at a cosmetic counter and get compliments on my skin constantly! It is definitely less than perfect underneath but nobody is the wiser! Also, we constantly sell out of it because our beauty team can't get enough of it! You're crazy if you steer away because of the price, you won't ever have to try a foundation again! I used to try a new kind a month but now I do rarely to never because I'm estatic with the way my skin looks!

This is my go to foundation. I have worn this for years and has rarely failed me. I wear 103 Ivory, even though the sales woman recommended me 104, but I have found with that shade it can oxidise, not sure if anyone else had this problem, however I suspect it is because that shade was too dark for me in the first place. I have applied this with a foundation brush, stippling brush and flat topped brush and found the flatted top brush (elf powder brush) to be the most effective way of application to really blend the foundation into the skin. So here are the pros and cons:
Pros:
- It lasts forever! I can go a whole day without touching up! I look for longwear use in a foundation because I don't like caking more foundation on and I don't want to have to keep checking the mirror to make sure my face is still on!
- It's matte, yet still looks natural, and I think it looks even better when it's worn in, even when sweaty, it just becomes a dewy look rather than an oily mess!
- The bottle is nicely designed, feels expensive and the pump ensures that not too much product is dispensed and is hygienic.
- It has a good amount of coverage, I feel I could wear this without concealer. I'd say medium - full.
- SPF 15
- Doesn't break me out
Cons:
- The main problem I found is the dreaded 'white mask' in flash photos. Which I'm guessing is due to the SPF causing the light to reflect. Even with powder on to I'm still looking like a ghost in pictures so I use a different foundation for going out.
- Dries quickly. You have to be quick with blending this foundation, so only apply to one area at a time. Also only a little at a time, as it easy to make this foundation cakey. So I guess another con is that it isn't buildable.
- Drying. I found it can accentuate dry areas however, I found a good exfoliation once a week and moisturising regularly solves this problem.
- Expensive. This is in the middle price range of foundations, more expensive than drugstore foundations, and cheaper than designer, but I do think it's worth paying more for a foundation if it suits your skin, and I find generally a bottle lasts me about 3 months for everyday use. Also sometimes Clarins do offers in Boots which may be worth taking advantage of, or just to collect Boots points!
Overall, I think the pros outweigh the cons, because for me, I look for longwear and coverage, and after years of wearing this and trying other foundations, this is definitely a favourite that I go back to, time and time again.

I am reviewing the powder foundation in the 'liquid' category because there doesn't seem to be a powder category for this particular product. Maybe because it is totally new. I just bought this powder foundation in colour honey. It is exactly what I wanted. A very natural looking semi-matte powder foundation that makes skin look nice, even and healthy. It doesn't look cakey, which is my worst foundation nightmare as it makes anyone look older and fake. It doesn't settle into lines and seems to be staying put a long time. I'm wearing it for the first time and only had it on for about 6 hours, but I will report back in a few days time. The packaging is very luxurious and nice, the sponge works well and the powder itself it very finely milled and seems like it will be lasting for a long time. I'm sure the coverage can be built up, but it is sufficient for me with one fine sponge layer. The colour doesn't go darker on the skin, in fact, I was surprised that 'honey' was as light as it was. It's just perfect for me.

I haven't reviewed a product in a year so the fact that this prompted a review is a sign. I have pale (NC20) dry skin and I wanted something that would keep up wih my long hours and wear evenly and flawlessly. It's a tall order and so far only Estée Lauder's Double Wear has managed the task but on my dry skin it looks a little cakey and dry. My skin has also gotten a bit lighter given that it's winter so I took the opportunity to try something new. I read some good reviews about this foundation so I went to Clarins to give it a try. They tried to match me to 102 but that was far too fair for my now NC17 skin. I picked 104 cream which is still a bit light but gives me radiance. It sits really well on the skin and provides close to full coverage. The finish isn't chalky but it is matt and doesn't look like there's too much product on the skin. I apply 1 pump with my fingertips and work it into my skin. I then pat my skin to warm it up and set the makeup. The result lasts all day (12hrs at least) except the area around my nose wears out but that's because I touch my face alot. The foundation doesn't seem pink based on my warm skin but in certain lighting my face looks a bit pink. I suggest taking a sample and checking almost all the shades till you find a match because there are a lot of pale shades and maybe two dark ones. It turns out 07 or 09 might be a better match for an NC20. Either way I like this foundation even more than my Guerlain parure gold in 002 because that doesn't last as long and is a bit dark. I also use YSL teint éclat in 3 and MUFE f&b in 20. This one beats both for coverage and longevity. Hope this was useful. continued >>

I have had this for about a year and a half. I played with it a lot when I got it because I was having a hard time getting my foundation to last. I loved the staying power for the most part, but was having a hard time blending it sheer enough. YOU NEED TO USE A BRUSH! Now that I am using a brush, I am getting a beautiful sheer coverage that is an excellent canvas for other makeup. Very happy I didn't toss this in the bin. It's an excellent medium/full coverage foundation, even for my normal/dry skin.

This is one of my favorites! This product go on easily! I have only used the method of stippling with this foundation, so im not sure of any other method. My skin is fair and I have rosacea and it covers well. Its lasts all day, I dont like to use much powder to set, however I am oily, and this foundation last well :) Ive tried Chanel, Lancome, estee Lauder, etc.

My HG foundation for sensitive skin!
This causes my skin no distress so far (after about 4months wear). It's a real luxury these days for my sensitive skin to tolerate a foundation that is strong enough to last, and smells really nice as well. It also has a range light enough for pale skin tones that only need the lightest of shades.
The foundation has a velvety texture and dries to a natural matte finish so I no longer bother with powder. I prefer my foundations like this, in order to help mattify my slightly oily skin. Those with dry skin will probably not appreciate this one. For me though, this foundation leaves me with a fresh look, natural and radiant, but not greasy.
The only con that I've found is that it is packaged in that typical bottle and pump format that makes it quite hard to get the most use out of whats in the bottle. I find that with a lot of foundations though so can't really hold it against Clarins, for what is overall a really good foundation.
