UPDATE: wow, some weird bug on MUA doesn't let me give this 2 lippies XD

When I first bought it and tried it out for a while, I absolutely hated it and gave it one lippie. My initial review was:
.
Didn't like it. I asked the lady in the store for something that lasts long and has light natural coverage. This is not light coverage at all!! And this isn't because I use too much, but it just doesn't spread easily. This is a heavy mask-like and sticky foundation on me. Also there wasn't any colours that were yellow enough - it oxidized to a pinkish orange. It also made my face very "flat". I usually wear MAC Pro Longwear, and even if I cake that on with a lot of powder, it doesn't look this flat! Didn't like the heavy scent. The only positive things I have to say about this that it actually lasts well and hasn't broken me out.
.
I tried this again a year later, with the Real Techniques Expert Face Brush (I have a review up for it) and with my yellow Kett colour adjuster, reviewed here: http://www.makeupalley.com/product/showreview.asp/ItemId=151847/Kett-Cosmetics---Hydro-Proof-Color-Theory-Yellow/Unlisted-Brand/Primer/-Corrector
.
What I still agree on is that the colours are bad - there were absolutely no colours for me - I had to colour-adjust this foundation to be able to use it. I will therefore not be talking about the colour that fits me as it is far from what it was to begin with. I still agree with myself: this DOES oxidize A LOT.
.
This isn't a light foundation - when I think light it means thin and runny, and gives medium coverage at max. I consider foundations like this pretty fool-proof for me to use. This is quite thick and creamy, and yes, a bit sticky. It can be compared to Estee Lauder's Double Wear, BUT: BIG DIFFERENCE: Double Wear has more powders in it than this foundation and suits oilier skin. I have pretty normal, but on the drier side, non-flaky skin. Double wear looks very powdery on me - no matter how thin I apply it, while Everlasting can actually look slightly more natural.
.
What I have changed my mind about is the flat, dry and powdery look of this. I'm all for light, very natural makeup that looks like skin. I don't actually need to moisturize my face more before this foundation than any other, but I only use one pump, and even that might be too much, and use my Real Techniques Expert Face Brush to apply this foundation. It requires a little bit of work an sets quite fast, but this brush does what fingers can't do. I have never managed to apply the Everlasting foundation well with fingers - it seems to look... waxy somehow when I do and I just can't apply it evenly - it blotches when I apply with fingers.
.
This foundation can cover quite a lot, but, as I've recently managed, it can also be applied quite lightly. In general, it's quite easy to overdo this foundation by using too much - then you may get an unnatural powdery, waxy, flat or caky look. At the same time, it's important to find a good application technique - as said, This absolutely didn't look god on me when applied with fingers - only a brush could make this decent.
.
For those who may not be aware of this: this is a long wearing foundation and there is a great possibility that you will only get this off properly with on oil cleanser, followed by a regular foaming wash.
.
Why only two lippies? Even if I apply tihs in avery thin layer and it looks good, by the end of the day this is caky -_- I have no clue how it does it...
.
I had a serious addiction to buying new foundations all the time a couple of years ago. I have owned over 45 foundations till now and all, except for 3, were bough the past 2.5 years. I have now thrown a lot - there are some foundations that have gone bad and there are some that I can't use, no matter what I try. I'm now working hard to figure out ways to use the foundations I haven't yet given up on, and luckily, I'm succeeding quite well :) I hoped my tip helped at least a few of you, and a tip for all of you that are just starting out with foundations: don't just blindly follow sale assistance's (SA) suggestions. They might say that a foundation fits you perfectly, but you may come home and discover that the colour is totally wrong, that it's hard to work with the texture without the tools they used, that it looked much better in the store, that you break out from the foundatoin. Please ask for samples when you want to buy a foundation - it might save you a lot of money! The SA's where I live don't want to give out samples, blaming it on that they have no pots to put the foundation in. If you have this problem too, buy your own pots. They can be annoyed at this, but just let them be - buying foundation without trying can be very expensive, especially if you don't have a good return policy.

After reading some comparioson with my fav ELDWL foundation.. and it was supposed to give me more satin finish and natural "glow". It;s fuul covearage foundation, It's staying power is really good (apx 8-10 hours) but it oxidize really fast and makes my skin look really orange. It doesnt look natural at all. It shows my fine lines and enlarge my pores.
Won't repurachase it again

I got this as a gift and I have used it only three times with terrible results. The coverage is not bad but there are three things that bother me:
-Colors. Clarins is not color friendly. Everything is too pink or too yellow.
-Oxidation: This foundation oxidizes if you are oilier and it flakes if you are drier. So i found that is wasn't great for combination skin.
-Lasting effect: I have worn this with smashbox, sephora and urban decay primers and none of them could keep it in place for 8 hours.

I think there are better foundations out there for the price...

Probably the best foundation I have ever used. I've been using this for a year now and love it.
The coverage is brilliant - it gives you a medium to full coverage and an almost matte finish.
I use it in the amber shade and it matched my skin tone pretty well.
It also doesn't break me out unlike the Clinique superbalance foundation.

The only downside in my opinion is the price. They've raised the price to £26, when I first bought it I paid £24.

I love this foundation! It is medium-full coverage so I wear it when I want to look flawless (functions/nights out etc) and it makes my skin look amazing! I was colour tested in the summer and wheat was the perfect colour for me, best
Match ever, but it's ever do slightly too dark now I've lost my tan. Covers all uneven skin tone and blemishes, doesnt oxidise or go patchy, never looks cakey, and really does last all day! Looks as good at the end of the day as it does when first applied, I do make sure I do a double cleanse when I've been wearing this foundation just to make sure that it's all removed. It's not the cheapest at £24 but a bottle lasts me over 6 months with daily use so it's great value for money.

I saw this at TJ Maxx for $14.99. There was only one bottle, in #105. I thought it was meant to be. I was wrong. I read reviews here and thought that 105 would be a good match for my NC15 neutral/warm skin. However, it was much too yellow upon application. The coverage was amazing, and I only needed a little to get a wonderful full coverage I have only ever seen with the revlon color stay. I left the foundation on to test it, and it oxidized to an orangey yellow, definitely not my color at all. Even thought the foundation has great coverage, it seemed to make the bumpiness of my acne more visible if that makes any sense. Some foundations seem to blur it, but this one looked really unflattering on top of my spots. I will be returning this, and continuing my quest for an hg foundation.

Wow, I can't believe this product has a high rating on here.
-It is impossible to wash off.
-It has a very strong old lady perfume fragrance (and synthetic at that).

Horrrrible!

So far so good. I had be using lancome's photogenic lumessence which is a BEAUTIFUL foundation and the best color match I've had since wearing makeup. (suede 0/N) It would totally oxidize mid day so that would get on my nerve.

I started looking towards the drugstore and found that the Revlon Colorstay was AWESOME at 1/3 of the price. All day wear, didnt transfer on my clothes, a doozy to get off though, but BEAUTIFUL. The problem with that was the color chart. Nothing close to my complexion. I had to use Caramel which was about 2 shades darker and blue undertone.

So I searched further and found the maybelline super stay makeup. In caramel, it was about 1/2 shade too dark and still had the blue undertone to it. Neither had the yellow/orange that I need. Plus, the maybelline transferred to my clothes badly.

Still searching, I was buying some of the Clarins Pure Melt Gel and asked if they had a long wear makeup, and voila, I found it. it was funny that when I got it home, it was pumping out as watery liquid. That kind of scared me. But this was a good thing because I discovered that the top screws off!!! Yes!!! So I can get all of the product when the time comes. I also found that it was not mixed, so probably sitting on the shelf too long. I shook it up and it became a creamy lotion. Wonderful texture.

It goes on somewhat matte, but brightens up in about an hour. Great coverage, buildable. Satiny, flawless finish. Stays on about 15 - 16 hours...YES!!! AND it has a PUMP!!!! The color is really nice but, sometimes I wonder does it have a drop too much yellow, but I'm pleased with it.. I have an ELF bronzer in #2 so it looks great.

So happy with this foundation. I believe it will hold up in the summer as well by the way it wears. Very nice. Oh, and very affordable, just need more color within the chart.

Enjoy!!

this is the best foundation I have ever used I have some major acne scars and an extremely oily face even mac studio fix can't solve my oiliness but this foundation is the best I am using 105 nude for my fair skin it has a great coverage but just because my scars are big and red I am using makeup forever full cover concealer under the foundation.I set the foundation with a transluscent powder.Normally I need to touch up after 4 hours. Not anymore!! this is really everlasting it deserves the name (maybe not 15 hours as it claims but 10 hours at least)

Very nice basic foundation, good coverage!

Rather expensive and the packaging is really heavy, not advisable for traveling.

Smells great but the formula dries almost instantly so its better to use fingers than a brush.
