ingredients are good, moisturizes well, price is acceptable, a good basic. a good performer but not stunning.
I got this for 99c during Aubrey's Cyber Monday sale. In terms of its ability to moisturize, as a lip balm, this stuff is really good. It moisturizes, and it has a nice feeling. It goes on smooth, not too greasy and not too chalky. It's effective, has a nice consistency, and doesn't have any color. The only thing I dislike about this lip balm is the taste/smell -- one of its main constituents is olive oil, which is a fantastic moisturizer, but unfortunately you can really, really taste it in this lip balm. It literally tastes like vanilla ice cream with olive oil poured over it.
However, I also got the raspberry flavor of this lip balm and that one tastes/smells MUCH better - no olive oil taste at all (but it's still in there, thus you get good moisture). It just tastes like raspberries.
Still, though, nothing bad to say about its moisturizing properties. Pretty good! Better than Burt's Bees, I'd say, and one of the best lip balms I've used.
Brought this for the yummy honey scent! I am a big fan of good smelling lip balms and this one is up there on that list. If you have tried/used Burt's Bees honey lip balm it’s similar in smell but much better with the hit of vanilla and not as sickly sweet as BB and not at all as waxy! This works just as well as any other chap stick on the market with all natural ingredients and I may repurchase in the future but I am one of those women who is always trying new beauty products. The down fall to this lip balm is that it doesn't have a smidge of real honey in it! Honey is a wonderful moisturizing ingredient and it should defiantly be used in a Vanilla & Honey lip balm.
