This really built up my straight lashes nicely and helped them hold the curl from the eyelash curler. The trick is to build up one eye then the next instead of applying coats as with regular mascaras.

BEST MASCARA EVER. I used to think all mascaras were the same and so I would just buy the cheapest one. Ever since I have tried this one, I haven't bought any other mascara, and I never will. It is truly amazing, and at such a great cost!

This is my favorite mascara ever! I have long but pin straight lashes :( so i have to curl them. Almost all mascaras ive tried didnt hold the curl or only lasted a a few hours. So i came across this mascara and decided to give it a shot. Well, i fell in love. It seriously makes my lashes look super thock and alot longer! And the curl stays put all day. And the wand does its job and separates my lashes. I love it!

i bought this while it was on sale at walmart and really hoped that it would give the false lash effect since i love the thick and a lot of volume lash look. while it's a nice mascara on its own but when i tried it, it definitely didn't give a false lash look. the brush is too big and generally annoying, and it puts out too much product, making it clump for me. i usually have to go back through with my normal mascara brush just to get it to unclump. other than that, like i said it's a nice mascara, it just definitely doesn't give the falsies effect. my normal covergirl professional mascara in the blue tube gives more of a false lash effect than this does. i probably wouldn't buy it again.

WORST MASCARA IVE EVER WORN. I haven't worn many, but this is by far the worst. It is EXTREMLY clumpy, clumping at the end of my lashes, and very runny practiclly dripping into my eyes. I would recommend it, as a contact wearer, to any other contact wearers. or anybody else for that matter. waste of money for the 8 or 9 dollars i got it for at vons.

i did not find it clumpy, i already have thick lashes thankfully and this gave them length and separation i got asked countless times if i was wearing false lashes, although i know others whome use this mascara and it doesnt look so good, you must apply this lightly, 2 coats max, although the thing i didnt like was the waterproof formulation it was absolutely horrible took days to get of my lashes, it made them sticky and clumpy would not be repurchasing the waterproof formulation but the original is very good for the price its being sold at!

I really liked this mascara. While it doesn't exactly live up to it's "false eyelashes" like claim, it definitely gives major volume and length. It doesn't clump, and it looks nice and natural which I am a fan of. The curved brush really helps curl your lashes (I don't even bother using an eyelash curler with this one), and opens them up. The packaging is very bright and cute as well - and the price is undeniably right! Would repurchase :)

Not bad, not great. It's just an average mascara to use if I had nothing all. It flaked on me sometimes and barely smudged. I felt that it didn't hold the "curl" of my lashes throughout the day as much as I expected. Might need to revisit this one later on but as for now, I won't be buying this again.

Its an ok mascara, nothing amazing. I think the brush is a bit of a gimic, but it sort of works ..I think maybeline release a new mascara every month with a fancy new brush and its just as good as the mascara they had the month before.

This mascara is a bit too wet and definitely clumps my lashes and gives me "spider lashes" only after 2 coats. One coat is eh but I have tried other drugstore products that work WAY better.

I am glad that I am not the only one on here who found this mascara "wet". As the summer months fast approach I have been changing my makeup to adjust. My eyeshadow was having problems with melting off and lids were feeling heavy so I bought a primer. Now my lids are fine but my lashes! Omg heavy and wet, and I always have to wipe my raccoon eyes away. It doesn't look too bad when I first apply, but as the day wears on I definetly don't want heavy/wet feeling lashes!

Doesn't make my lashes look "false". I tried to cheap out on mascara and I was not impressed with this product.

I love the look of really long, thick, dark eyelashes and when I heard that Maybelline promised the look of fake eyelashes with the use of their Falsies mascara, I was skeptical.
With three good coats, my eyelashes look amazing. I continuously recieve compliments on how long, dark and thick my eyelashes are. The mascara lasts all day, dries well and doesn't flake and leave those annoying little black specks on your skin at all!
I love this mascara, I think it's a bit pricey though and it doesn't last awfully long, two months and it's time for a new one for me.
Overall, it's a good mascara.

My mom loves this stuff, but for me, it's just okay. My lashes are fairly long and full as-is, so one coat gave me "my lashes but better." Two coats got a little clumpy and stiff, although they did look fuller and longer (although I wouldn't go so far as to say they looked anywhere near false lashes). This was probably just the brush I had, but a few of the bristles were significantly longer than the rest; I actually poked myself in the eye a couple of times, and had to really take an extra second to turn them so that they weren't facing me when I applied mascara. Again, probably not a common problem, but something to note. I put that I would purchase again, or I wouldn't discourage someone from purchasing, but I probably won't repurchase for myself personally.

I have been trying to find a great mascara for the last 15 years, i think i have tried most of the "volumizing" ones on the market. This is one of the better ones, the brush promises more than it does but overall it does have a volumizing effect. The packaging seems girly and immature though, i like the L'Oreal version of False Lashes mascara better (long gold design). I bought this on Ebay for 5 bucks and would definitely buy it again.

This product did not work for me at all. It would clump my lashes together and leave behind clumps. Not to mention it would leave smears all over my face. I have been applying mascara for a number of years now so its not like I don't know how to apply it. Overall I would never buy this again.

this mascara was too clumpy, too wet and gave me spidery lashes. would not repurchase :(

I got this product yesterday after buying it previously and throwing it out because i was so frustrated. My friend told me that she loved it and said I should try it again, and I think i just didn't know how to use the brush right the first time. Today my lashes look long and fanned out, and i like the color (brownish-black), i don't like having jetblack lashes. I use this over my Lash Accelerator by Rimmel, just so i get the growth aspect. I know it is sort of soon to know for sure whether this mascara will work, but it impressed me and thats hard to do with mascara, since I am a mascara guru

MY FAVORITE MASCARA EVER! i have very short natural lashes, but with this && my elf eyelash curler i appear to have the longest lashes! :) this is better then my urban decay mascara && even my benefit bad gal lash! I LOVE MAYBELLINE FALSIES! <3 continued >>

This mascara is NOT for everyone, but it did a fabulous job of giving me darker, longer and more intense eyelashes (not dramatic eyelashes though, so maybe it doesn't live up to the 'falsies' moniker).
This mascara is great if you have:
- shorter lashes
- curly lashes
- plentiful lashes (mine are too plentiful and i sometimes have to yank some out when they grow two to a follicle because it's uncomfortable and leads to more eyelashes that curl downwards!)
It's a great everyday mascara that lasts well and comes off easily. I liked the length and especially the fact that it maintained my natural curl which can sometimes straighten out with lengthening mascaras. On my sister, who has already long but straighter eyelashes, this mascara was a dud!
