I really like Mariah Carey's fragrance line, I now own almost every perfume she has released. Ultra Pink ranks somewhere in the middle, I don't love it but I do like it. I get berries, sea spray and a vague floral note when first applied. As time goes by the cherry blossom, peony, tiare and musk all become quite prominent with a hint of remaining sea breeze and a little amber. By the 4 hour mark the scent has calmed a lot and is very close to the skin. By the dry down all that's left is indiscernible floral notes, musk and wood.
I like how creamy, bright, and refreshing this perfume is; it's perfect for spring/summer. I just wish the sillage and longevity were better, I layer my EDP with the matching lotion and at best it lasts five hours. I also thought this fragrance could be a little more unique, it strongly resembles Luscious Pink. The bottle is an attractive feature and sprays a decent amount of fragrance. I'm glad I have it and would recommend this to those who like refreshing, summery, light floral fragrances.
Top Notes: black currant, wild berries, sea notes
Mid Notes: tiare flower, pink peony, cherry blossom
Dry Notes: amber, white musk, woodsy notes
This smells juicy, good without being sickly sweet (unless you spray too much, one mist will do). I do HATE the cap tho, every time I push it down on the bottle the perfume sprays. I got the 1oz bottle.
When I bought this perfume, I was expecting to have it smell like cherries or at least have a hint of cherry smell in it. To me, it just smells like nothing :( Not happy.

Nice scent it's very sweet and girly. I wouldn't say the scent last all that long. But it's nice.
I love this perfume. Ultr Pink and M are the top 2 from mariahs entire line of fragrances. I bought like 6 bottles of the body spray to this perfume at walmart to make sure i wouldnt run out of it.

I sampled this perfume in a magazine just now and I cannot get it off my skin. This smells just like the travesty that was Britney Spears' Hidden Fantasy. Completely unoriginal, and rather gag inducing. I dont usually mind celeb fragrances or anything in the fruity floral category, but these perfumes are one of the few exceptions. Dont waste your money on this. At least get the BS one if you like the scent, the bottle is prettier.
I have tested several fragrances from Mariah Carey. To be honest, they all smell like any other run of the mill, watered down, drugstore quality "celebrity" fragrance. Ultra Pink is no exception. I don't get any real potency from UP and there isn't any particular note that stands out. I am not a snob, but what would one expect from a perfume that is sold exclusively at Wal-Mart with an actual scratch and sniff sticker on the outside of the box? I would rather own one bottle of a rich, beautifully complicated, high end perfume than to own Mariah's entire "collection."
I don't normally write negative reviews, but I have grown a bit disenchanted with most of these celebrity fragrances that are marketed towards consumers that would purchase their products simply because of the name attached to them. For one, it isn't as if the celebrity is in the laboratory developing these perfumes. Secondly, I happen to respect the creation of perfume as an art form. Where is the art in churning out hastily-made fragrances, each in the same vein as the one before it?
Another EA Mariah addition, Ultra Pink has been reviewed as being a twisted up version of Luscious Pink by other reviewers on other forums and I would agree that the scents are very similar on *first* smell, but you really NEED to wear this and wait for the drydown - it smells completely different!!!
I own all the butterfly versions by Mariah and I flat out prefer the Ultra Pink to Luscious Pink (LP). LP has a sharp bergamot note, the Ultra Pink has removed that note and for me Ultra Pink is well worth having, I never did like that sharp opening in the Luscious Pink. Ultra Pink is slightly more fruity floral, the cherry blossom is there and its apparent - its one of the **standout differences** to Luscious Pink and you really need to give that one time to develop - for a top note it really appears pretty late in the development of the scent, but it makes a very welcome and noteable appearance that lingers. The berry top note doesnt stand out immediately, its rather subtle actually and plays its role in the background.
Ultra Pink has softer, rounder edges in the heart, probably due to the the tiare which I rather like. I would like to add however that this definitely does not have the complexity or appeal of the Tiare that M offers - completely different unfortunately and I tend to view the heart of Ultra Pink a little underwhelming by comparison to the lovely M, Ultra Pink is top and base note heavy.
The base is woody - obvious and rather nice, and ever so slightly green, it doesnt become sharp though which is always a bonus for me.
The scent is a rather simple cherry floral fragrance on a woody base; not sophisticated at all but really very nice and well worth owning. Reasonable sillage. If you have Luscious Pink you are going to smell the initial similarities, BUT you will also notice the differences in the development of the fragrance as you wear it and will come to appreciate it as a very different fragrance altogether.
I am enjoying this one more than LP, but since Ultra Pink is a Walmart exclusive atm, its not available in Australia and tracking it down was difficult - I obtained this in a swap with a more than generous swapper. It currently retails in a 1.0oz/30ml single bottle, or a 0.5oz/15ml bottle with a body lotion pack. I would really love to see this expand to department store status and free availability internationally in the 50ml and 100ml sizes. Should this become a permanent addition to the Mariah Carey butterfly fragrance line Luscious Pink will be dropped in favour of this in a heartbeat!! I really, really love it!!

The Walmart website describes this scent as follows:
A colorful floral melody, Ultra Pink is flirty and fun and embraces Mariah's feminine side
Soft accents of cherry blossoms and wild berries, combined with signature dewy Tiare Petals and a creamy blend of Sun-Kissed woods create a radiant and vibrant fragrance

Overall I like this perfume but it is my least favorite out of Mariah's "butterfly fragrance line" (M, Luscious Pink, and Ultra Pink). I have not tried Forever yet so I can't compare to that.

I have Ultra Pink in a .5 oz bottle that came with a lotion and shower gel in one of the holiday gift sets at Walmart. I think the packaging is adorable and love the butterfly toppers on Mariah's fragrances.

This fragrance opens very brightly and flowery but it doesn't scream. With a name like Ultra Pink I thought this would definitely be a screamer. It quickly dries to a softer, but still bright floral, and eventually leaves a drydown of greens and woods. The drydown reminds me of moss, in a good way.#

If you like bright florals, not too complicated or heavy on the sillage, you may like this fragrance. I think there are better ones out there and I prefer M to this (for complexity and for the notes in general). Overall, this is a nice fragrance but I don't see myself reaching for it very often, hence I probably won't need to repurchase.
