I don't feel like this mascara added any additional length to my lashes versus my normal Lash Exact mascara. It doesn't clump at all and it comes off pretty easily but I don't feel like it does what it advertises as saying it will do.
Ok so im a snowboarder and a surfer and i spend a lot of time in the water and the snow and i think this mascara is sooo great coz it NEVER SMUDGES NEVERRR. i am also in track and field and i sweat A LOT soo i was worried about this mascara like going all over my face but it never did ...
u can also like scrath ur eye or like eyelids idk and it doesnt go all over the place . it adds a lot of lenth but it doesnt hold a curl for that long . it doesnt make ur lashes look as thick and it doesnt clump .. hope this helped xox
Well, I bought this mascara when I was in San Francisco last year.
This mascara is GREAT!! I'm a big fan of spiky brushes, but these were a bit softer :)
If I curled my lashes, the mascara looked great on my eyes!
Pros:
-Covers every lash, even in the corners
-not too thick
-no clubs
- etc
Cons:
-not available in some other countries
-gets empty quickly...
I like this mascara, even though I'm not a fan of spiky plastic brushes. But this one is thin and longer than average, and I find it relatively easy to work with. The Brownish Black gives me defined and lengthened lashes that are noticeable, but not over the top. It's just water-resistant, though -- it doesn't smudge, but I don't need an oil-based remover -- it comes off easily with my micellar water. [PS. Dried out in a month, alas.]
I saw a lady at Target holding this mascara. She had rockin lashes, so I asked her if this product (the yellow tubed, water resistant CG Lash Blast) was good. She said it was... took it home, applied it (was another nufangled plastic applicator - I am afraid Im never going to get used to these) but I gave it a try anyway. It was very dry, and difficult to get any product on my lashes at all. I probably would have to do 10 layers to have it show up at all. The two nearly invisible layers I put on were very hard to get off as well. I used the generic of the Neutrogena eye makeup remover and it didn't come off at all. Used DHC Oil cleanser after that and after a lot of elbow grease it came off. FAIL!
I had high hopes that I could get a good day of "curl hold" with a water resistant, but no. My lashes went straight within minutes after using. The brush is great for lower lashes, but doesn't leave enough product on the upper, but since it doesn't hold the curl anyway, I too will only use it on my lower lashes. I often skip my lower since I have dark brows & lashes anyway (just not the tips) so I wouldn't buy it again just for the lower lashes since I can just use less with my regular CG Professional Waterproof. continued >>
This is the strangest mascara. It does nothing for my upper lashes at all. It does not build up enough to make my long, yet light-colored lashes show up. However, I like the mascara on my lower lashes. It makes my lower lashes look nicely feathered and darkened. I prefer L'oreal million lashes false fiber waterproof for my upper lashes, but hate it for my lowers.

I like the tiny brush -- great for getting every lash. Or it would be, if the product weren't so dry and pointless. MANY coats eventually looks like something (and the tiny brush does do the job of keeping lashes from clumping, as well), but weighs the curl right out. So, not for me. If you like quite a natural look but maybe with a touch of lengthening, this might work for you -- especially with small eyes or small lashes.
One coat is a natural effect that is hardly observable, you have to apply two coats to get some existence, but still, this is way too natural. It gives you (especially the lower lashes) a look that you weren't wearing anything on it at all.
Doesn't hold a curl very well, especially for my straight Asian lashes, it straightens my curl after using a eyelash curler. CG's clump crusher gives you much better effect, although not great with holding a curl, either.
Also, it's dry. I don't know if it's the one I bought really dry, or the formula. I tried soaking the tube in hot water but it doesn't help either. Won't buy again.

So i decided to buy this when a bunch of my friends were raving about it @ school. So i got all psyched and practically sped home to the local CVS. Might i say, i nearly cried when i realized it didn't live up to it's fame. I got waterproof because i'd just ran out of my regular waterproof mascara. So my lashes are pretty thick and pretty blond, so i mainly just need darkness and length. I believe my friends used the regular formula, and maybe that's what's wrong with it for me. It's definitely not waterproof... well sort of. It came off in the shower but if i cry/eye water... it's fine. So no blasting your eyes with water. I tried a few different ways of applying it because sometimes that really helps. I decided to keep it and use it as a base mascara for all my other mascaras. (i'm a lash junkie ;) ) If i swipe it along the back of my lashed (downwards) it covered my blond roots nicely. It dries pretty quick for me so then i'll curl them and apply another mascara. It hides the roots nicely and lengthens the wear time for my other regular mascara. Not a total loss.. just a little disappointed.
