A HG product for me. I can wear it under my cream blush or by itself and it gives my skin the most beautiful glow of healthy happy skin like I just came back from a spa. Let me start by saying I was a huge fan of Revlon's skinlights and had it in all the colours which isn't something I would usually do. When it was discontinued I was sad and still held on to my stash and would use it even though it was past the "expiry date". Bare lights is the perfect colour for my skintone. Its an amazing highlighter and does exactly what I want it to do for my skin in two minutes. I squeeze a little on the brush and put it over my cheeks and then work it in a bit with my fingers. I actually quite like the brush because it helps to control the product. Mine keeps coming off so I don't like the packaging.
I had to buy these in the USA as they didn't sell it in Canada and now I see its being discontinued so I'll drive down to see if i can buy another one of these and the pink colour before its gone. I don't know what Revlon's problem is as this is a popular product and Skinlights had quite the cult following. Probably/hopefully they will just repackage it and come out with a new version in the near future!!
Love this product!!!

This is a really nice light pink highlighter. It's smooth and it blends into the skin easily. It's perfect for the subtle glow to highlight your cheeks. The only thing I didn't like about this product is the packaging. I hate how there's a brush applicator because I feel like it's an unsanitary way to dispense the product. This was a simple problem to fix by cutting the brush head off. 4/5 Stars

My 60 year old mom and me (26) both use this and it is great. She uses it under her makeup for that extra glow and I mix mine 1/3 to 2/3 foundation and apply with a stipple brush. CVS has these on an amazing clearance deal right now, so I have been clearing the shelves on these babies. I have 12 of both colors and my mom has about the same. In the future I would repurchase these at normal price.

Wow Revlon is really kickin butt lately as far as DS products go! (I'm referring to their new lip butters which are absolutely amazing! Actually almost every lipstick I own is by Revlon in various formulas, they're great.) Anyway, back to the topic at hand lol. I cannot believe ppl are finding this on sale for 3 bucks, because everywhere I've seen it, it's like 13!! Anyway, I have this in all three colors and love them all. I save the gold light for summer when I'm all fake tanned up and it's amazing. Pink and bare light are great for now when I'm really pale. These are better than Benefit's High Beam and Tarte smooth operator, both of which I have, and *shock* NARS Copacabana Multiple, which i also own. I ripped the brush out on this, as I find it a big product waster. You could use needle nose pliers, or savage beast style with your teeth like me LOL. It's very easy to remove it, which is nice, and the on/off switch is awesome as well. Make sure u turn it to off,as it will leak if u don't . Anyway, LOVE this, and I wish I hadn't read it's on clearance, cuz we all know what that means :( I hope it's not being discontinued! Why can't these companies read reviews on here? Then maybe they'd stop getting rid of products we all adore! Awesome highlighter, go buy this!!

I bought Pink Light a couple of days ago from CVS for only THREE DOLLARS, and I love it. I'm 19 and all for shimmery, happy looks. This stuff is perfectly glowy and natural, more so than any other illuminator I've tried, and it's just perfect for the cheekbones. It doesn't look out of place or frosty-weird, just really, really pretty.
Unfortunately, I didn't hear about the icky brush solution until just now - but to put the cherry on top, I recently traveled and forgot to turn it "off." so a whole bunch of product got squeezed out all over the brush and cap. :(
So I went to another CVS today (I bought the last Illuminator of any color at the other location) and bought a Bare Light to get me by, removing the brush right away and taking extra care. It was ALSO $3.49. What a steal. With the coupons I got on my receipt, I really think I'm going back to snatch up the LAST Pink Light for backup/a clean new start. I haven't found a product that makes me feel so glowy and awake quite a while, and I'm sure not going to miss a chance to get it at this price. Check out your CVS if you want more or want to try it out yourself! It may not be marked down, but it should read clearance on the register.

I found this after purchasing a high end highlighter that was $32! That is going back! This Revlon Illuminator is the perfect color, easy to apply, and it looks soo natural. This make the Tarte smooth operator look like a joke! Thanks Revlon!!!

This is a really lovely touch. Whenever I see pictures of a person who looks radiant, it's always the subtle sheen on their cheeks that does it. And finally I can look like them! I really like color of Bare Light, because I didn't want to go too pink, and this looks right on my very fair skin. The brush attachment is awful, but I will try what others have suggested and pull out the bristles. So excited I found this.

This is sooo pretty! I apply it everywhere the sun would naturally hit- cheekbones, nose, and a bit on the chin and forehead. It makes me look so much more...alive. Looks completely natural too. I pulled the brush out with my fingers though, it didn't seem hygienic. So happy I got this :)

Yay!!! Skinlights is back!! I love this stuff! It's even the same scent as the old Skinlights and I adore it. HATE the brush, but tonight I'm getting my pliers out and doing as everyone suggests - ripping the brush off. I have the Bare Light and it gives my skin a nice shimmery glow. There are NO flecks of gold. If I ever find it d/c like some ladies here have, I'll be stocking up for the long haul. I wonder if some places are selling it as a d/c item because they're going to new packaging w/o the brush? I sure hope so!

I have this in Bare Light and it's awesome. AWESOME. I mix it with lipsticks to use as blush, but I also use it to highlight where I need. Top with a little loose powder, and you're good to go!
Bare Light is less pinky than pink light, but be careful because for some skin tones it is still too pink. It's pretty creamy and if you're not careful you could end up using too much. The good thing about it is that you can kind of mete out how much you use, IF you pry the brush part off (thankfully, that is fairly easy). And it has an on/off switch so you don't end up with illuminator exploding all over your stuff. Yikes.
Like other illuminators, be careful how much and where you put it because unless your skin is that young, youthful, already-dewy-but-hell-lets-put-some-makeup-on-and-look-that-much-better, it will make you look sweaty and sparkly. Edward Cullen after rigorous exercise is not a good look for anyone (at least, not in my opinion).
Seriously though, go try it. It is awesome and the tube lasts forever and ever and ever.

UPDATE: I still LOVE this product! I have found I like the Pink Light mixed with a little bit of the Bare light. ///////////////////Yes!! Finally found the product that I LOVE! I have very severe melasma, so still on the hunt for HG foundation, but for now I am having the most success with Revlon Colorstay. The only problem, once you use that much concealer and foundation, you end up looking flat and dead! I am using the Bare Lights shade and the Pink Lights shade. I use the Bare light under my eyes and the Pink one for the rest of the areas I want to have a little "glow" this has made all the difference in the world! I also pulled the brush out with pliers, it was easy to remove. I use a concealer brush (my favorite is Ecotools) to apply and blend out lightly with my fingers. I keep seeing posts about people getting this on clearance, so I am going to have to stock up, in case it is being discontinued soon!!

I would definitely recommend this! Its color is a warm champagne that will work on most skintones. Since it is a thick liquid, blending is a breeze. It is not runny at all. Also, it leaves an iridescence, not a chunk of glitter. This will make your look appear much more natural and dewy. It has an SPF that is stable, and since you should apply highlighters to parts of the face where light would naturally hit more, it's like you are getting extra protection! It's also not expensive for the amount you get, and drugstores tend to have many sales going on, anyway.

love this highlighter. It's great for natural looks. I'm nc40 and it is very flattering, deposits no color, just a glow. I neglected it for a while because I hated the brush on it. It's wasteful and unhygenic imo. Someone on the m/u board said they were able to take the brush off w/o damaging the way the tube opened and closed so I gave it a try. All you have to do is pull/tug at the bristles and they'll come right off! The brush part is glued onto the tube in a strip, and comes off in one piece. Once the brush is off, there is just a little hole that the highlighter comes out of. Makes it great for controlling how much product you want, no waste at all. The tube will still close and open the same. I believe it's being dc'ed, cvs has them on clearance for 75% off. Def try it out before it's gone!

Well this is your everyday run of the mill colorless shimmery highlight. I like the formula, but this does tend to fade pretty quickly so you will prob need to reapply. I like that its a squeez tube but i cannot for the life of me figure out why they put that brush at the end...it sucks and eats up all the product. I personally prefer the other colors of this highlight, but this is a good everyday highlight, just pat on with fingers the wonky brush will give you streaks.

I use to use the old version and when it was discountinued I didn't know what I was going to do because Im not a make up person dont like foundation, but I had to dip and dab into alot of different products all this time up until maybe a week ago I didn't know Revlon came out with it in different form,, Im the happiest girl in the world..lol :) I use Gold/Light... I love this highly recommend it I now have large pores but it really doesn't show that much with this product like the old one did. Love it recommend it if you just want to get up and go. Its the same as the old one and I think that confused many women, but its better they made it with the brush cause it doesnt streak and you can apply it were you want. I perfer all over face It just gives me a sun kiss glow and just even. If you have acne scars i recommend using concealer first then the luminator. I use a regular moisturizer then a primer than the luminator lip gloss and im gone..!!!

Love this! I was so sad when Revlon discontinued their skinlights line - and I'm happy to see it back in a new form. Even the scent is the same - which I loved btw. I'll buy until they discontinue this version. The best!
BTW - for those of you that wear blush (either powdered or cream) do you put this on top - or before? I'm so confused how to use both.

When worn alone this gives me a very natural, subtle radiance to my cheeks, brow bone, and the bridge of my nose. I like that the consistency is quite thin which makes blending effortless. I also like that there is little to no color in this highlight so it doesn't look streaky and awkward. Bare Light is not greasy and it doesn't break me out. Im very impressed with this product and I will be purchasing the Gold and Pink versions in the near future. I highly recommend this to everyone looking for a natural liquid highlight

Gorgeous! I love this highlighter. It's the perfect amount of shimmer without being glittery at all. I use it on my cheekbones, and it looks so pretty when the light hits it. I don't really think that the shade Bare Light has any color to it (I'm NC15 in MAC), so there's no weird stripe on my face, and I don't have to spend a ton of time blending it out. Another great thing about it is that I only need to use a tiiiiiny bit, so the tube will last a very long time. It's a bit pricey for a drugstore brand - $11.99 at Ulta, but since Ulta always has $3.50 off $10 coupons, the most you'd have to spend is $8.49, which isn't bad at all. I've been wanting a good, affordable highlighter for so long; I'm absolutely thrilled that Revlon released this.
Now about the packaging: awful. With the brush on, that is. Without the brush, the packaging is just fine. I'm able to squeeze out the tiniest amount without getting too much, and the on/off switch is nice because I don't have to worry about it leaking. I didn't even bother to try the brush, because I could tell just by looking at it that it would be a huge waste of product and that there would be tons of buildup caked on with continued use. So, from the advice of other reviewers, I removed the brush completely. I didn't feel like finding pliers, so I just ripped them out by hand. It's a little hard grasping the bristles at first because they're pretty slippery, but once you rip a chunk of the bristles out, it gets much easier. Here's a little tip: Find the nozzle, which is located in the center of the bristles, and pull the bristles away from it, so that you can grasp them from the inside and outside.
Overall, this is a really great highlighter, and I totally recommend it!

i just bought these and i am in love! really nice, subtle, healthy, natural, dewy look, gives you a nice candlelight glow without looking like huge chunks of glitter sticking to your face. litle flecks of shimmer that blend into skin really well, like a moisturizer. the pink has silvery shimmer flecks and the bare light has light light gold flecks, so depending on what kind of glow you want that day gold tinted or silvery. the silver in the pink light isn't POW silver its really a gentle and healthy glow. i take a pea-sized ammount on my finger and dab three dots on my lower forhead, temple, and upper cheek bown, than I massage into my skin in a crescent form all the way to the apples of my cheeks and mid forhead, i take the excess and blend it down my nose, lower cheek, chin, and down my neck to make it a more natural look. I don't really use this as a highlighter so much as I use it as an all over illuminator, or full face glow. The light is faint and it DOES NOT look darastic at all, really subtle.
NOZZLE: I took the brush off, wastes the product
***btw these smell faintly of roses, a definite plus for this product

I love this, it gives me the perfect glow! I'm very fair and the bare lights is wonderfully perfect. I think this illuminator would look good on any skin color.
