I'm so glad I found this product! It works amazing on acne prone skin. This works just as well if not better than my prescription acne meds. It's that good and super gentle. It smooths out my skin, I use this and I alternate with my prescription meds and sometimes my skin looks better after using this. So it's quite the find. I think I paid between $7 or $10 totally worth it for the amount you get. I don't notice any scent. I smear it all over my face with a cotton ball just before bed and sometimes in the morning before I do my makeup. This is probably my favorite beauty product find of 2012. Will absolutely repurchase!

I've been using this product every night for three weeks and seen improvements. I now use this product morning and night. I suffer from adult acne and hyperpigmentation. This product has helped to visibly heal my scars and made my skin more smooth. The packaging sucks in that the product leaks into the cap so most of the time I end up using more product than I need to.
I like this oil-free formula and the fact that it is completely fragrance-free. It absorbs well enough with a slight sticky after effect, which I can tolerate. I also used this as a spot treatment on a small scar I had on my leg. My scar actually disappeared, which surprised me. I wish it came in a higher AHA concentration because 10% is low for my skin's tolerance level. Great results for the price!

I've used this product the longest of any product I've ever used. (4 years) And for more me, that's huge! This clears acne, clears dark spots, and I'm too young for wrinkles(I'm 26), but I'm sure it helps with that too. Actually I know it does b/c I told my 60 year old friend about it and she tried it and within weeks her skin was noticably smoother! She used the souffle, which is better for older, dryer skin. This serum is best for oily, acne prone skin. Anyway, buy it, you won't regret it! People compliment my skin and say I have naturally, beautiful skin, and I don't need make up....4 years ago I never would have heard that comment!!

I know the label says "anti wrinkle" but it works so well for large pores and acne marks as well! I was a fan of the Walgreens AHA cream but I decided to try something new. I must say I love this stuff. It keeps my pores clear. I haven't had many pimples since using this product either. I gently pat a little product all over my face (stay away from eyes) after cleansing at night and rinse it off in the morning. I like the gel formula more than creams - it is so much lighter and I feel like my pores handle it better.

I had to purchase this from drugstore.com because I was having trouble finding it in stores. The packaging is a little difficult but if you're careful it's not so bad. Just tip it onto a fingertip and squeeze gently. I never have it upside down when I'm dispensing it, always at an angle sideways. It has smoothed out the texture of my skin where I had acne scarring. It has helped to reduce oil and acne. It's not a miracle product for acne but it does help. I only use this at night. It did dry my skin out but I just cut back washing my face with acne soap products and switched to gentle cleansers.

I purchased this product as a replacement for benzoyl peroxide gel, which is not safe for pregnancy. Within days my acne was clearing, and my skin is dewy and soft. It no longer gets oily during the day. The dry areas are moisturized and the oily areas are soft but not oily. The texture is extremely light - once you apply it, you can't even feel it! The tube isn't the best (big tube, big hole, little control) but for the price, you really can't complain. Far better results than I got with retinol.

I had to buy this from the USA via Amazon.co.uk and it cost £20 (inc P&P). I had really high hopes after reading the reviews on MUA.
Firstly, the packaging in dreadful. The product is too thin, almost watery and the hole on the plastic tube is far too large. Take the top off and squeeze and you end up with a huge puddle of product in your hand. Given the viscosity a pump or at least a smaller dispensing hole would be better.
Now the product itself. It didn't strike me as having much of a smell and the gel applied smoothly. You only need a small amount so squeeze the tube carefully!
I used this on alternative nights and after two weeks my skin was glowing and less oily during the day. However after 3 weeks I developed deep cysts and my skin felt horribly clogged and bumpy, especially around my jaw area. I stopped using it and it has taken nearly a month for the cysts to subside.
There is obviously something in this gel that my skin can't tolerate or something that causes a build up or deposit, which is a shame because the initial results were very good.

hiiiiiiii,
eeks,i am excited,my first review on any board.but,i SIMPLY had to write.this product is super good.ok,for the records i have uber oily skin and its not very uncommon to see me pulling my hair apart thinking of wat to do.i bought this thanks to the reviews from this site and boy am i glad.will surely rebuy until i stumble on something better.thank u you guys out there at alpha hydrox.loveeeeee u.
This is good stuff. I have congested, oily skin with occasional breakouts, and this calms the redness, helps lighten the brown spots, and keeps everything smooth. I have a high tolerance for products like this, and am able to use it under my eyes. Note that it has the correct pH.
This is a leave-on treatment, and it does create a smooth surface for applying SPF & makeup. It is vital to wear SPF with this stuff. Don't forget to apply to your neck, decolletage & the back of your hands--you want everything to be even!
This product was $10.99 at Ulta, and I've seen $3 off coupons. I believe Walgreens also sells it. It's a staple at my house! continued >>
