I have this in the shade 205 Very Light. It is noticeably pink-toned, but also has a slight but noticeable white/grey cast when it's on the skin. Not flattering at all.
The coverage is about medium, and doesn't completely cover my VERY dark circles. It feels thin and slightly creamy when applying, but quickly sets to a dry finish. I'm 23 and have a few fine lines under my eyes, and this concealer makes them stand out so much more, and honestly just makes them look worse.
The dryness of this product wasn't so bad during the summer, but now that the weather is colder and the concealer itself has started to dry out, it's become pretty much unusable.
Everyone looks for the perfect concealer and most products have the good and the bad but this stuff is 5 of 5! I have the worst dark under eye circles and this is the first concealer that can actually hide them. I always suggest to people that they need 2 concealers because the stuff you use to hide your under eye circles isn't usually good for acne and vice versa. Anyway I don't use the simply ageless for acne but it works perfect for under my eyes. It stays put and does what it says... hides my dark circles so for me this concealer is amazing. I will say I don't use it alone, you're supposed to get the simply ageless eye corrector that goes with it and that's how the magic happens when you use them together.
This concealer does give really good coverage on blemishes, but i do have to build it up under my eyes. It's ok, but I wouldn't rebuy it.
LOVE! It gives great coverage, goes on creamy and looks so natural! Never cakey. They only thing is the price. In Canada it's originally around $15-$20, I bought mine on sale for about $6. Even though its for undereyes, it's amazing for acne, blemishes and redness.
I enjoy using this concealer, it gives me the perfect amount of coverage. The only thing is that you have to use a brush to apply it with. If you use your finger you end up with globs under your eyes. I would buy this product again!
I normally don't like covergirl products.. but I saw this on sale and figured why not.
It a light coverage concealer, if you apply too much it can look cakey.
Best for under the eyes, after a few hours it does settle into my lines, but it's not super noticeable. I paid about $9 on sale, normally I believe ($16AUS?) roughly. It is being discontinued which is a bummer.
I LOVE this stuff. I'm pretty sure it's discontinued because all the drugstores near me have put them on sale & they're now all gone. I paid $13 CDN originally (expensive for the drugstore). I have the corrector (yellow) shade. (I haven't tried the concealer shades). Thankfully I bought a back up on sale - the last one. I use this under my eyes as well as on acne scars. It matches well, even though it's quite yellow. It brightens under my eyes nicely, and the best part - it doesn't crease on me. I'll be sad when I use both of mine up.
This concealer feels light wieght. It can get cakey if too much is applied. I got it for $14 which is quite expensive for a drugstore concealer. I don't really enjoy using this concealer though becuase of the color. It creates a grey cast and that makes my under eyes look ashy. I dont like this because of this reason and thd price. But you do get a decent amount and I like the packaging. Its in a little tub with a srew. I will not be repurchasing this and I also dont recommend this because for the price you can get another concealer that can work better than this. Edit :The white olay swirls do make the concealer more light so I suggest getting a shade darker if you plan on getting this
I love this concealer a lot! This covers my under eye circles and redness like no other. The formula is creamy and easy to apply. My only complaints are the price and the bulky packaging.
Skin Type: Normal-Oily, Sensitive when skin does not agree with certain products
Skin Tone: NC15-20 naturally, NC30-37 or 40 during certain stages of self tanning
Undertone: Strong WARM yellow undertones (yellow undertones can be cool too)
Skin Problems: One or two acne scars, light to mild active acne, severe dark circles
I managed to snag this concealer at my local Coles for an impressive $6.44 as it was on clearance. There was only like two shades to choose from and I got the darker of the two, light medium. Let me just say that it matches my natural skin (NC20) pretty well, but would also go well with my fake tanned shade too. After reading heaps of rave reviews on this product I was super duper excited to finally get my hands on it, as I am constantly on the lookout for the best paint like concealer to camoflage my severe undereye circles. Needless to say, as usual i rushed home and took off my face makeup for the day to slather some of this on.
Twisting the cap off, i felt amused by the cool design of the concealer. The concealer had a mixture of a white and skin tone shade. At first i was a little scared that the skin tone shade may have been a little too dark however, when mixed with the white 'olay' side, it lightens up quite a bit. there is a downside and a plus size to this fact; deeper complexions may have a hard time trying to find a suitable shade for their skintone but paler girls may rejoice.
Anyways, I swirled my finger into the concealer to mix the two concoctions together and proceeded to apply it to my under eyes. I applied it as per usual, with my ring finger and with a patting motion to get the most opaque coverage. I then softened it out by rubbing my finger over the concealer. I was expecting something amazing, however the coverage was quite dismal. dissapointed by unfazed, i slapped on another layer. thankfully the coverage became somewhat better.
Overall, this conceaaler is okay, nothing too special and not too bad. After using it for about three weeks, i have not experienced any new breakouts or anything, as i have been using it to spot conceal some of my blemishes/ acne scars. this concealer would be great for those girls whose undereyes may not be so severe.
