This eyeshadow is beautiful! I bought all 6 colors I could find, and I love them all. The packaging is terrible, so I depotted them and put them in small containers I found at Hobby Lobby. I wish I could buy all the other colors, but Dollar Tree doesn't carry them. I'm very happy with these eyeshadows. :)

not gonna lie, the brush it comes with is total crap. but the product itself is gorgeous. I cut the brush part off the wand but still keep the stopper inside to keep it from spilling. I have this in radiant which is a bronzy gold. it makes my brown eyes pop! just put a little primer or a base on underneath this and it'll last all day!

LA Colors has not disappointed me yet in terms of product, but here, it has completely failed with the packaging. The brush is all mangled and useless, but you can use your own brush. That's why I gave this a 4- other than that, I own two of these and they are very nicely pigmented and stay for a while. They do look gorgeous on my eyes, especially in the sunlight. For $1, they're really a great bargain!

oH how i love LA Colors!! i really do, their products are absolutely amazing! The Shimmering Loose Powders are gorgeous and so awesome!
=PRICE-AVAILABILITY=
The LA Colors products can be found in my area at Dollar Tree, Dollar General, Family Dollar. It will depend on your area but i have also seen some products at Five Below as well as online at Cherry Culture and Ebay. I def suggests checking the Dollar Tree. Whats best about LA Colors is their products are super duper cheap and affordable. I pay $1 for the loose shimmering eyeshadows. Unreal for such a great product. A great alternative to expensive pigments/loose shadows. I love em. Cannot believe they are $1!!!
=SHADE/FORMULA/PERFORMANCE=
I love all the great colors they have to offer. I have all available shadow colors & theyre great! According to LA Colors site- A gorgeous collection of FUN, SHIMMERING, METALLIC shades with brush applicator that adds sparkle to your eyes. Made with ultra fine powders for long lasting, radiant color. Applies on smoothly with INTENSE color!- I cannot find all 15 colors but i have 6which are the only ones i can find. I wish i could find more bc id def pick them up but all the colors i own of course have a metallic shimmer to them so for those who dont like shimmer- these arent for you. I dont mind them since i own matte shadows that can tone this down. I find tapping the brush a bit will knock off most of the bigger pieces leaving a nice metallic finish. These are great dry & even prettier foiled or wet. I mainly use them dry since im lazy but id def suggest trying them wet once. I find these apply nicely w/ minimal fallout considering their loose shadows. Def watch using darker colors. I know pressing them def makes them easier. I find on their own, super pigmented & true to color. Can be sheered out if needed or built up for vivid color. They stay put for at least 7-8 hrs w/ primer of course & id def suggests using cream base w/ these since loose shadows/pigments always apply & stay alot better when they have something to grab & stick to. So great pigmentation, the shadows are soft, not chalky. I find these to be good quality. They seem to match my Elf Mineral Shadows so if you like those, you can work w/ these as well. The apply & blend easily. Great shadows. So onto the colors i own:
Snow White- a great shimmery white. Its not stark white but more sheer. is great for tear duct highlighting. so pretty to open up the eyes.
Sunshine- like its name, its a gorgeous true gold. its a vivid yellow gold. i have a golden loose shadow but this is true yellow toned gold. so great for summer
Lollipop- a great true cool toned pink. its bright & fun. its a nice pink that wont make you look sickly since its a bright vivid cool toned pink
Honey Suckle- this is probably my favorite since its a more neutral earthy tone color. Its unique in the way its a golden bronzey pink. Its more of a rose gold great for everyday looks. will def use this one up first since its great to add to smoky brown looks for a gorgeous metallic finish. its lighter in shade than Radiant but along the same scheme
Radiant- a great bronzey brown. its a medium tone bronze golden brown. great also to add to smoky brown looks. this color is def a must have since its easy to work w/ and can be used w/ many looks
Black Pearl- wow, a dark super pigmented black. i thought it end up being a charcoal gray but no def a black. this is a great multipurpose loose black shadow. this one can be used for smoky looks & great for wetting to make a pigmented black liner. i pressed this & use it alot to set black liners.
=PACKAGING=
Now sadly this is where the product falls really short unfortunately.. i hate to lower my score since i do really like these but i hate the packaging. These come in a clear see thru hard plastic container. The labeling/info/logo is in black writing. The lid is unique- its a twist of cap with a ring/circle to pull out to the attached brush. The brush is awful since it doesnt fit into the alloted space/hole and the opening gets narrow to allow the brush to pick up limited shadow but the brush gets stuck and frayed. (if you have seen the NYC Cosmetics loose shadows, its like them exactly but a bit worse) So its rather useless. The lid does twist off to the brush/lid. It does keep the shadow safe & secure but it also keeps it from coming out at all. So my suggestion- YouTube search how to depot your LA Colors shimmering shadows- its what i did. I depotted all mine since its much easier to use them now since i didnt use them much in their orinigal containers/jar. I have also pressed mine as well. (i used alcohol w/ a drop of BioSilk Silk Therapy knock off yes theres youtube videos too on this) and they worked extremely well! So other than its packaging, these are great cheap super cheap alternatives to pigments. If you can get past the packaging meaning depot them or use them as is somehow, I know i enjoy them very much!
Overall, def try these out if you are interested in pigmented or playing w/ loose shadows. These were my way of learning how to press pigments or loose shadows w/out worrying if id waste a lot of money. I think they hold up there w/ the NYX Pearl shadows. Def an alternative if you arent sure. These are so much fun to play around w/ but also are great to make some gorgeous looks with!

I think this is kid's makeup. This is what you buy for your daughter so that she wouldn't mess with the good stuff of if you're now starting off with makeup and are on a budget. I really cant see any time consumed adult finding use and practicality out of this product.
1. It is a shimmery mess, it gets every where.
2. The pigment is ok but not OMG
3. What's with the impossible packaging
4. The brush is useless and ridiculous.
It's kind of embarrassing overall and looks like kiddie art and craft material. $1 or free its not worth having!

Black Pearl is awful. Even using a different brush and packaging (like everyone else said- I've never seen a brush so awful), I wouldn't try it again. The other colours aren't so bad, and some can be used to highlight (though don't overuse, the shimmer can overwhelming if you do).

I love ALL the l.a. colors products as far as eyeshadows and nail polishes go. I am absoluetly in love (<3) with the shimmering loose eyeshadows. My favorite is radiant and lollipop. They're soo.... pigmented and the colors are absoluetly insane!! Another thing i love about the l.a. colors products are their nail art deco's. They've got soo.. many colors to choose from i have about 5 of those colors.
Soo.. yea & i hope you guys enjoyed this review. If you guys would like a list on prices in your local area, let meh know.:) mmkayy??:D

I've had two of these in the past. Gold and black. Do NOT expect them to be pure colors. They are very sheer, and VERY sparkly. I didn't want a sparkly gray, but that's what I got when I bought the black.
The gold was very pretty, however. It sheered out pretty and the sparkle was less obvious.
The packaging is stupid, flimsy, bulky, and UGLY all at the same time. It gives me a headache. I just get annoyed.

Okay, so I bought this product because my mom gave me a fifteen dollar makeup fund (I laughed at her) for a costume party at the end of graduation. I went to a dollar store and saw these, and I had no better prices, so I picked up liner, lipgloss, and this eyeshadow in Radiant (I like close-to-skin eyeshadows, they work well with me). I was wowed! This stuff is really good! I like the pigmentation, and the stay power... but, as stated so many times before, packaging sucks nuts. One handy thing I found out about the brush is that you can put it in water and use your hand to shape it normally, then let it dry in the pot, and it'll stay nicely. The pot isn't THAT bad when you think about, it works alright, but if you hate it, there are youtube vids to help with depotting. I give it a five disregarding packaging, because I sort of like it :)

Hate to be a downer since these seem to be well liked. I got the white one and it might be just this shade, but its not pigmented at all and is like a fallout glitter crazy fest. So my consensus is ick ick ick.

The actual product is fine! But The Packaging Sucks! The pigmentation is Great! The color I have is Radiant, which is a beautiful shimmery brown. This is my go to shadow on days that I'm too lazy to do anything else! The product is gorgeous!

i have this in a few different colors and all i can say is that for a buck, it cant be beat. it's highly pigmented and versatile. the gold can be used all over, as a highlighter and on the collarbone.
yeah, packaging sucks, but you can make it work one way or another. all you need is a good primer and you willl have allday stay. i just bought the black pearl and i am pretty excited to use it as an eyeliner.
my dollar store only has a few colors, so if anyone knows where to find more variety, without paying more than a buck (i dont know why people on ebay think they can charge ten times the price of a dollar store item) please let me know!
who woulda thought the dollar store would be the new place to buy makeup!? im telling you, try the pressed face powder! you will be so suprised like i was!

first things first : remove the sticker at the bottom and put it on the container you will depot it into , then heat the wax seal slightly , and use a pen to quickly pop the bottom off and Voila you have beautiful pigment with out worrying about the packaging .
this is a great dollar item . its called shimmering loose and its Shimmery and loose . Lollipop is a candy pink , Sunshine is a bright buttery golden yellow , the names are very good imho ( unlike NARS which I love but can someone please tell me what color a CATFIGHT is ?) and pretty simply tell you what to expect .
I have no complaints on this product because 1. it is as advertised 2. it costs a dollar 3. read 1 and 2.

The pigments and colors are amazing. The packaging and brush as stated in many reviews prior. Blow. The brush when you open it, already looked crushed or smashed on one side. If you take your own brushes you can most certainly get great use of these shadows. Very blendable and the glitter is very light.

Wow this brush sucks. Just throw it away people. Seriously. You could decant it into a pot, watch youtube tutorials, but I just get my brush and dip it into it. The quality is decent. It's pretty pigmented. It's also very shimmery/glittery. I got this at the Dollar Tree store for, what do you know, $1.

Sounding like a broken record here but the packaging sucks. With a capital S. You have to use a legitimate eyeshadow brush if you expect to have any kind of decent result. But other than that, the actual powder is incredible! I don't normally buy makeup this cheap but I did because I never worked with loose pigments before and I didn't want to spend $$$$ only to waste it in ignorance. I figured I could use these super cheap ones ($1.00!!) to get the hang of it and then invest in expensive powders. But seriously, why spend more money when it's just not necessary? These are highly pigmented, they last all day, and they have beautiful shimmer without being gaudy or hooker'ish. A great product and yes I would buy again. I already have :-)

The shadow is fine, but I hate, hate, HATE the packaging. Holy cow what an annoying bottle to mess with. I don't need to use the color I have (the golden copper color) enough to justify going through the trouble of repackaging it.

PURCHASED AT: Dollar Tree
PRICE: 1.00
J’ADORE:
1. The colors-I have are Radiant (brown), Lollipop (pink), and Sunshine (gold). The only color I would repurchase is Radiant.
-Radiant is a beautiful brown/ coppery shimmer shadow. Beautiful color it reminds me of ORO from NYX. It’s not a exact dupe but is very similar. Radiant is very pigmented and I usually use it as a crease color. Gorgeous on tan to-darker skin tones.
-Lollipop is a baby pink with shimmer. I’m a NW35 and the color does not compliment my skin tone like Radiant does. It makes me look like a teenybopper when I wear it alone, so I usually avoid this color. I believe this color would compliment lighter/ paler skin tones better than darker skin tones.
-Sunshine is a very yellow gold with shimmer. Not a true gold color but the yellow gold that is fun to experiment with.
2. All of these colors are very shimmery, so if you don’t like shimmer avoid this product.
JE DETESTE (DEAL-BREAKERS):
1. The packaging SUCKS!!!! I actually de-potted all my eye shadows into individual containers so I don’t have to deal with the ridiculous jar. In order to do this you need a piece of paper, a sharp object to break the seal, and of course a jar to depot the product in. (I found a set of 24 little jars at Wal-mart in the crafts section. I believe people use those jars for beads and such but oh well. Also, I know you can also find little jar/ containers from hobby lobby or Michaels or any craft store.) I then placed the product upside down on top of the paper and used my sharp object (preferably a pliers-DO NOT USE A KNIFE!). I then had my bf break the seal all around the base of the jar. I tried to break the seal all around-but holding down the pliers hurt my hand. Be careful cause when you do start breaking the base of the jar some pieces may pop out. Another reason why my bf didn’t let me do it. Okay so now after you break the seal all around the base of the jar slowly pop the top. And the depot. If I confused you-I apologize-Go on you tube and search how to depot LA Colors eye shadow and maybe that will help.
2. The Brush-if you’ve seen the brush you know what I’m talking about. This comes with the worst flimsy cheapest brush ever. I just threw it away since after I de-potted my e/s I have no use for it.
3. Colors-There is not a wide range for colors. I believe there is a yellow/ gold, pink, brown, green, black, white, purple, and blue. And obviously the availability of these colors will depend on your location.
4. Fallout-Yes there can be a lot of fall out with this product. It all depends on how you apply it. Don’t sweep the eye shadow over your lid. Rather pack it on with a dense brush. This minimizes fall out and ensures and even coating. If you sweep it across your eye lid there will be less color payoff (very sheer).

Got these for a dollar at my local Dollar Tree! I only have four of them, but want to get more! Wish there was more color selection. I don't want to order online. Anyways, the colors I own are Honeysuckle, Radiant, Snow White, and Lollipop. I love all the colors. They are so pigminted and shimmery. They are also semi sheer as well, but make sure to use a primer so the color really pops. My favorite one is Honeysuckle. It's on the verge of a pinky ivory color. I love it. It's hard to describe. I always wear this alone just for a wash of color when I want to do a natural look. It lasts all day with just the right amount of shimmer. This is an amazing product. The packaging doesn't bug me either. The brush tip puts the right amount of product on for me. I don't care for it at all.

This is a great product. I picked up three of them for a dollar at my local Dollar Tree. Each one is pretty pigmented. One of them is a little on the sheer side, but for a dollar I'm not complaining. The one downside is the packaging. The cheap little brush that comes inside of it is all splayed and frayed [was this way for all three] anyway, I'm wearing all three colors right now and have gotten so many compliments and I love it. I have this in Sunshine, Snow White, and Honey Suckle [most sheer].
I recommend these.
