This lippie is perfect soft nude/pink for my skintone (Estee Lauder Dessert Beige). I have difficuties finding pink-y lipsticks that aren't blue based -- thank goodness for PLINK! It has a nice lustre and feels good on the lips. The formulation isn't too drying and it has nice staying power as long as you don't eat or drink.

my first mac lipstick..and I love it!
Love the light sheer in it, the pink tone looks really natural on me. I will surely repurchase one of this!

Plink! is a great staple in my lipstick collection. I appreciate that it's more yellow-based than blue, as almost all of my other pinks lean that way. To this end, I haven't found anything very dupe-able. On me, Plink! is a frosty baby pink with a slightly sheer finish (I'm NC 20 / NW 25, for reference). It's very sweet looking and compliments a natural look very well. On the downside, I do find it drying and the longevity is not as good as other MAC lipsticks. But I will happily continue to stock it in my collection.

I so wanted to like this lipstick because I like MAC lustre lipsticks and at first sight it seemed so lovely but I didn't expected it to be that sheer. I read it in the reviews but I thought hey it won't be that extreme because actually I'm fair ... so it's kinda weird. I like that it has a subtle shimmer in it , though. I guess I will use it when I go for more of a smokey eye or really natural. Just a tad more pinky and I would love it . Blimey!

When it comes to wearing make-up, I prefer to go for a more natural look. And that's why Plink is the perfect shade for me. It is described as a "warm sea shell pink", and it's just a very sheer, light pretty pink. I think it's perfect for school/work/hanging out, whatever. However if your're the kind of person, who wants their lipsticks bright and bold, this is not the color for you. Plink is a very soft, sheer, and subtle pink.
I am going to buy it again!

This was my first MAC lipstick and boy was I disappointed in myself! Forced to agree with the mac artist because she seemed like she was in a rush I told her it would do. I've heard about this lipstick a lot though but I guess it never ran through my mind that my lips are just too pigmented for MAC's lustre finishes.
I should stick to my cremesheens or amplifieds - my fave finishes. I'd give this 1 lippie though because of the colour. I COULD make it work by concealing my lips beforehand but that's too much effort for me. Sorry!

I think this lipstick is a good lipstick overall. I love that it is a lustre. With my natural skin tone at a NC20-NC25 it washes me out. However, if I am tan anywhere from NC30-NC40 this lipstick looks very pretty on me. It gives my lips a bit of a glowy look. I am still shocked MAC discontinued this lipstick - silly MAC. Hopefully they will re-launch it in a collection in the future.

I love natural pink glowy lips and this product tops it:) I got MAC lipstick in the color Plink ! which is a Warm seashell pink and gives my lips a very natural sweet look. It is not high pigmented its very light and it smells great. It gives my lips a very Nice soft texture:) It doesnt last long on my lips but i dont mind reapplying it a few times throughout the day. Great Lipstick !

it's pretty but it's so sheer. i been wearing this over my matt lipsticks just for some shine as i hate wearing lipgloss. i think its lipstick would be great for a no makeup day but if your looking for a lipstick with colour pay off stay away from mac lusters

I normally wear High Tea w a smokey eye, but I wanted something with more pink and less peach so I gave Plink a try and it's very pretty. I'm light to medium Asian skin w yellow undertones and light lips. Doesn't wash me out.I probably won't rebuy because High Tea is still my go-to light lip. This is not discontinued and readily available at Mac counters, MAC stores and online.

i really enjoy using plink, because its a subtle, pretty pink that will go with neutral makeup or smokey eyes. You dont need a lipgloss over this really because it almost has a shimmery quality. Its peachy pink, and neither too cool or too warm for my NW20 skintone. It is mosturizing but the lasting power really isnt impressive if you like your lipstick to last a long time, which i generally dont because i find those type of lipsticks drying. It applys smoothly but not as creamy as a cremesheen. I do like using it and i'de reccommend it, but if you're looking for a first time MAC lipstick i'de try cremecup - a gorgeous nudepink with mauve undertones!

I give it 5 because of the sophisticated color. Fascinating nude pink for girls with warm skin tone. Seashell pink creates the illusion that you are a mermaid that can walk :)
I saw many comments about it being discontinued so I wrote to Mac (official website). MAC Cosmetics Online Makeup Artist replied:
"Thank you for taking the time to email us at MAC Cosmetics Online. I have good news - according to my latest information, Plink! Lipstick is not being discontinued."
So I quoted her message here in case Plink! lovers may feel a bit relieved.

Plink! what a cute lipstick name! even though it sounds like 'blink' when you are trying to order it over a busy MAC counter!
Plink! is a sheer, frosty, warm baby pink. it is a Lustre, and is very moisturising, and almost acts like a gloss and lipstick in 1, as the shimmer and moisture really performs. for this, i feel as though i could buy this lipstick again.
this is a nude-type colour, but because it is such sheer coverage - it still allows some of my lip pigment to show through, making it a wearable pale lipstick. (for reference, the Lady Gaga MAC lipstick looks ridiculous on me, too light and blue!) so the fact that this is sheer and a warmer pink, makes this work for those who cannot pull off pale, cool, block nudes.
i also love that i don't need a lip balm/lip gloss with me to wear this.
for those who say it's been discontinued, i found this sold at (Selfridges, London) MAC just yesterday.
i would recommend this brightening, versatile lipstick!

I LOVE Plink lipstick, though I do not give it as much recognition as it deserves. This is a beautiful, warm, goldeny pink that suits my pale skintone SO nicely. Sad to hear it's been DC'd though...I'll have to go scoop up as many as I can :D

I absolutely love this colour and I cannot believe it is now discountinued as it is one of my favorite lipsticks. Its a nice pink colour and has good colour payoff for a lustre. Its really smooth and feels moisturizing on the looks. NC15 for reference.

When I first saw plink I thought I'd love it. Such a shame it was just too frosty and I felt it made my teeth look yellowish. Oh well live and learn eh? I've actually being using it as a creamblush on my cheeks and although I need to build it up more than a regular blush it gives a really nice dewy finish so at least all's not lost!

I had six empty lipsticks to get a free lipstick so I was contemplating between shy girl (peach nude) or Plink! (pinky nude) after seeing both of them online through member photos.. and they both looked really beautiful, but reviews for shy girls seemed much better so without trying this on first I just sent my empties in and got the free lipstick (shy girl). Liked this very much, really makes your face glow. But I love love love pinky lipsticks.. so I decided to go to mac and purchase the Plink! I heard it has now been discontinued so i did a search for it and found that the Mac counter in my hometown had a few of them. I also bought this without trying and when I put it on I absolutely loved this! It does remind me a bit of politely pink, but I found this one to be too frosty. Plink! is a much better shade.. You can actually see the pink and it last a while on my lips. Very happy with this shade which sucks because it's now been discontinued. So if your able to get this lippy, I highly recommend it before it runs out!

Plink! lipstick was a permanent shade at MAC for years. It is now discontinued unfortunately and I can honestly say that I do not know of any dupes for it as of right now. This lipstick has been released in at least 7 collections since 2003 so hopefully MAC will bring it back as a LE shade in several upcoming collections. This color is described as a Yellowed Seashell Pink and is a Lustre formula. I find this lipstick to be a bit on the frosty side though. It is very easy to wear and is in a lot of must have lists for Pink and Nude lipsticks. I think it is a great lipstick to have and works well for most looks. I think most people can pull this color off despite your skintone. I wish it had a bit more staying power but it isn't too bad. I am NC20 for reference.

I received this in a swap and I am absolutely loving it so far! It's great by itself but my favorite way to use this is as a "highlighter" over a red lip pencil. I use it just in the center of my lips over MUFE aqua lip pencil in 8C, which is a bright cherry red. It helps add moisture and isn't quite as whoa as putting russian red or something on. Like I said, I also love it by itself though. Great everyday lip color! Also very smooth and moisturizing, and I have pretty dry lips no matter what I do. I am NW20 for reference. Glad I got it in a swap but I'll definitely buy this when it's gone.
