Generally, I feel good about Posh brushes, and I particularly like the ones with synthetic fibers as animal hairs irritate my skin. These brushes are very soft and spring-y, so I'm pretty sure they're synthetic. I like the red handle and shiny black ferule. I also like that these brushes are petite: they could fit in a purse-sized makeup bag, unlike my E.L.F. brushes, which are a good 2 and 1/2" longer. On one side of each handle is printed "POSH" and on the other is printed "eye liner." One brush is a little wider and stubbier than E.L.F.'s small precision brush. It applies a soft, thick line of cream or shadow liner for a decent smoky look. But other brushes can do the same thing for less money, like E.L.F.'s smudge brush. And I'm not real sure what the other brush even does. It's a kind of flat paddle brush that is quite small. Heck, I'd use it for concealer. It just doesn't make too much sense for the kind of detail, precise application I want for my eyeliner, even for a thick line. It doesn't work too well to pack on powder shadow. This is just 14$ of useless that looks cute in a purse. continued >>
