I like this stuff but I am not blown away by it. Then again I have terribly dry hair so I think I need something heavier than this. But you can put a ton of his on and your hair will not look or feel weighted down or oily. It's smells delish, its cheap, my hair is bleached not dyed so I can't say how well it does with color protection. THere is nothing bad I can say about this product but I just like more oily, heavier product for my super dry hair.

Loving this product! Coloresse is Sally's knock off of Pureology. This luster cream was $5.99 with a Sally's card, and comes in a 4 oz purple flip top tube which is really convenient. The purple Coloresse bottles are for fine, thin and/or color treated hair types. I have fine hair but lots of it. I've been very happy with silicone serums, and other cream products such as beyond the zone get n creamed from sallys, or frederick fekkai's glossing cream, however they can leave me a tad on the oily side by night time. This is the first luster cream I have ever tried that was truly more "cream" in texture, vs a runny creamy liquid. If you squirt this out, it doesnt drip, its a light weight texture cream, that feels like a lotion when you put it on your hand, its not thick at all. Has a delicious sweet fruity banana type scent. Im going to go back and buy more from the color line just for this amazing scent! If you rub it on the back of your hand it absorbs instantly and feels smooth, not sticky or greasy. I use it mainly on the ends of my hair for heat protection from blow drying, to tame any split ends or flyaways, and to smooth the ends of my hair. I do rub it through out my hair sometimes. I never have a problem with this weighing my hair down, its a great option for thin or fine hair. Because I am not finished with my first tube I cant rate if its doing a great job with heat protection, but so far so good, my ends seem to be in good condition. It does give mega shine as its name says its a "luster" cream. I got low lights 2 months ago and I think it has helped them to stay in, or at least not hurt them. It claims to help color last longer too. Just an over all great product, scent, texture, and it performs well. You cant beat the price, and its the perfect texture for those of you with thin or short hair that get weighed down from silicone or runnier creams. Will purchase again, and highly recommend
