I am so unhappy I bought this product. I've had it a few months, and when I first bought it, filled it to the brim with my regular day perfume, Chanel Chance. I went to get it out of my bag a few weeks later, and it was empty. I kind of assumed I had used it up. WRONG ASSUMPTION!!!! Last week I filled it again and put it in my bag. I was sorting out my bag today, took the atomizer out and it is EMPTY again!!!!!! I am really not happy. What a damn waste of perfectly good perfume. I read in one of the reviews below that you can put tape over the hole to stop it evaporating or leaking. Why on earth should we have to do that? Surely a perfume atomizer should not leak?! I'm really cross about this and I definitely will NOT repurchase another one. Really bad design. :(
I grabbed one of these a couple weeks ago when it caught my eye at Shopper's. Apart from being super-cute (purple zebra print!), it's really handy. It's easy to fill, just make sure you align the bottom of the atomizer properly with the scent dispenser straw and don't pump too fast. I love that my printed one has a little clear window so you can see how much is in it I currently have Gaga's Fame black perfume in mine and I can clearly see that barely any is gone, though it's been filled for almost 2 weeks and I use it daily, which means there is little to no evaporation. The contraption itself is quite sturdy, so it's unlikely to get broken and the lid is secure, meaning it's unlikely to fall off and leak. I haven't experienced any leakage around the valve that I've noticed, so if it has at all, it's so minimal so as to not be a problem.
Only drawback is the price/size ratio, which is why a lippie came off. Mine was about 15$ CAD plus tax , so about $17 altogether for something the size of my thumb (though I have long fingers xD). But I really do like it and would probably get more to be able to have multiple scents with me while travelling.

Very handy but not necessary.
The gasket can have a bit of evaporation, I use a small patch of medical tape to seal it.
I love this product, it has never let me down. I usually fill it with my VS Beauty rush body mists (because the scent tends to fade pretty fast and I need to reapply) and it's so easy to use it during the day. I forgot I had it in my bag for a couple of months and the container was still almost full so obviously the liquid didn't evaporate. The only problem is that I don't think I can fill it with my Gucci Rush 1&2 fragrances because the bottles have a weird square design and I don't think the top can be removed. I think the Travalo is pretty cheap for how well it works and that it makes a great gift. continued >>
Loved the idea of this. It looks so sleek and comes in so many pretty colours! Sadly, it leaked in my makeup pouch and the alcohol in my perfume totally ruined the packaging of a lipstick. It was the first time I noticed that it leaked even though I'd been carrying it around in my bag on and off for about 2 months. Not sure if I'll be bringing it with me anymore now that this has happened...

I wouldn't use this even if I got it free. First, it is a great concept but I can tell you from experience this is too good to be true. Although these cute colorful little atomizers seem like a great innovation in travel containers, there are some major flaws. They do not hold very much product. If you are going away for the weekend you might not run out. Anything longer and you will most likely have to be without your perfume. They are not easy to fill in the first place. Depending on your bottle you could easily lose perfume when it spills out over the side of your bottle instead of going into the atomizer. Worst case scenario, it might leak and you could lose a whole atomizer full of perfume. Sadly all of these things happened to me with a favorite expensive perfume. It is definitely not worth it. Nordstrom has equally cute little colorful atomizers that you can transfer your perfume into by spaying into them. They hold quite a bit more product. I have never had one leak and they cost $5. No-brainer..
I so wanted this to work as promised! How it fared so well in other reviews and on YouTube is a mystery to me. Did the people at Travalo comp everyone??? It should be noted that I purchased three of these with my own money. While it's easy to fill and I appreciate the concept wholeheartedly, I have two issues with the Travalo:
1. The one-way rubber valve means super-fast evaporation of my pricey fragrances.
2. It isn't 100% leakproof.
Basically, when put to the test, it's nothing more than a gimmick.
I put Chance Eau Fraiche, Au The Blanc, and Light Blue in my 3 Travalos, and it was money down the drain. I forget where I read it, but someone else online had reviewed Travalo and shared the same experience with super-fast evaporation. As for the leaking, I found that there is some ever-present moisture around the nozzle - it seems like a little bit of perfume (in addition to the mist that sprays outward) is leaked with every pump, and remains around the nozzle. Also, if anything comes in contact with the valve while it's in your purse - even if it's in that adorable little case - it leaves a little trace of perfume. Gently brush your finger around the valve once there's perfume in there, and tell me you consistently find no trace of perfume.
I wish this had worked as all the reviews said it would, but that just wasn't my experience. I've heard of something called sen7 that I'm going to try next.. it comes in an "easyfill" option like Travalo's valve, but after my experience with Travalo, I'm going to go with sen7's metallic screw at the bottom instead of the rubber valve. Like Travalo, they come in a bunch of colors.. Hopefully it will do a better job of housing my beloved perfumes.

This product is really useful .. I would highly recommend it..
A WORD OF CAUTION though.. I don't think it is suitable for all perfumes bottles!! .. My favorite fragrance is from Hermes and I realise the Travalo doesn't rest on the nozzle properly due to the design around the nozzle. . I ended up having using a hammer to knock off this covering that wraps around the it so that I can rest the travalo on the nozzle directly to pump perfume into it. I didnt destroy the original bottle... I can still spray the perfume out it after replacing the cap but the bottle is 'disfigured' now..
:S
Really enjoy this product and find it super convenient. Only downside is switching out scents. I have a full review on my blog. http://beautydiscoveredbycourtney.blogspot.com.au/2012/07/travalo-review.html
A really cool idea, I like to buy my favorite perfumes in the huge bottles which can be difficult to hold. This is awesome, BUT the perfume will evaporate. I filled one and forgot about it and after a month it was...empty! I put them in ziploc bags now.
