Because my office stays so cold, I have a floor heater. Well that heater has dried out my feet like never before. I get pedicures regularly and have NEVER had dry cracked heels in my life until this past year. I have tried everything & yes some products do work, but I hate the vasaline feel so I quickly give up.

I saw this for $6.99 at Ross the other day & picked it up. OMG I looooooove this stuff. Just after one day I could feel a HUGE difference. It is slippery but nothing as bad as thick gooy products. I actually like the smell too. I finally found what I needed. continued >>

This stuff works great.
It kind of melts when you put it on - it's solid in the container but softens when you put it on.
It really takes care of cracked heels; I put it on under socks in the daytime, too. It does have a medicinal smell but I don't mind.
It seems to work better than plain vaseline, and definitely better than any other foot lotion I've tried.
Will repurchase.

Love this stuff! I found this at Walmart for $9.99 (I think) and decided to give it a try. Since moving to dry old Texas, my feet has started cracking like no other. The sides also started looking gross because it was cracked and dry. No amount of lotion, creams, or vaselines could help my poor, parched feet. First of all, the packaging is great. Like the other reviewer mentioned, it's like a giant chapstick for your feet. It can get a little messy if you apply it too thick, but that's fine bec. putting extra on your feet doesn't hurt any. Secondly, the formula is a like semi-thick wax that almot melts on to your skin when you coat your feet. The smell is very strong, but it doesn't bother me. I've smelt worse. This is almost like a really strong deodorant or cleaning product mixed with Vick's vapor rub (to me!). I put it on my feet after I shower, put socks on, and go to sleep. The next morning, my feet are soft, smooth, and I don't see the white cracks on the bottoms and sides of my feet. When I can, I use it twice a day. If you work in closely with someone, I wouldn't recommend applying this because the smell might bother THEM. But, I've rubbed some in right before going to the grocery store too, so it's really up to you. I'd just make sure you wipe off any extra, or let it sit on your skin for a few minutes before you go anywhere. You're feet WILL get extremely slippery. In fact, I recommend wearing socks for a few minutes before you go anywhere. Anyway, give it a try if you don't mind strong smells. I just wish it were a little bit cheaper.

Great product and it really works. The smell is a little odd, but it's not bad. I've never had problems with the scent lingering as mentioned by another reviewer. This works best when used everyday instead of randomly. Way better than your average foot cream and the packaging is great...just rub it on and go! Will repurchase before I run out!

I bought this after seeing it at Walgreen's. I have never seen on TV before (I don't watch a lot of TV) and i am always on the lookout for a good foot treatment. The packaging of the product itself is great. I love that it comes in a stick form. It makes it very easy to apply.(the package it comes in is a little ridiculous, but once you get it out it is all good). I applied it that night, put on some cotton socks, and the next morning my feet were much softer. After a week, a huge difference. My feet were extremely soft and looked great. I didn't even have to do my weekly pumice stone / ped egg routine.
I find the review about the smell quite humorous. I don't know if this person has an unnatural sense of smell, but the product is nothing like described. The smell is very close to lemon balm. almost like the Burts Bee cuticle cream. It is not overpowering at all. Even my boyfriend, who has a strong sense of smell did not notice it.
All in all, I really like this product and what it has done for my feet. I have even started using it on my hands and cuticles and when I run out, I will be getting some more.

This is pretty good but not the best at soothing dry/cracked heels. I apply it entirely over my feet and massage it in. I see that it makes the dry cracks and ashiness disappear but it's not as moisturing as good ole Vaseline or Curel foot cream so because of that I may not repurchase. Vaseline and Curel is a fraction of the price of Heel-tastic. I don't really mind the smell, it's kind of strong in a sense that you can't ignore it but it's not that bad of a smell. It has a Coco and shea with Vic's vapor rub type of scent. When I first bought it I couldn't stop sniffing it but I'm past that phase. I also apply this to my hands when they're really dry, I don 't reccomend it but it works for me.

UPDATE: I've read the other comments above about this being lemon scented. If that's the case, they've totally changed it. There's nothing lemony whatsoever about mine - I doublechecked because I was unable to return it after all and just have it stuck in a drawer. It smells just as bad as ever. I tried to give it to two other people who were anxious to try it, but once they smelled it, they wanted no part of it either!

I've been tempted by the TV commercials for Heel-Tastic for quite a while, but I never gave in. When ordered on TV, you get two tubes plus a mani/pedi set valued at $40 (yeah, right!) all for $9.99 plus shipping and handling (w/separate S&H for the manicure set) - no telling how much it would be all told. Then, I saw it in Walgreen's the other day for $9.99 and decided to give it a try.

I liked the idea of it being in a stick that you can use to apply the product to your heels without having to get your hands all messy. After I finally got into the hard plastic packaging (which you have to pretty much destroy to get open, intentional, I think, so that you won't try to return it, LOL), I opened the tube and jerked my head back at the strong smell. Still, I thought it was just because it had been closed up and figured it would dissipate in a bit. I went ahead and applied it to my feet, put on some cotton socks, still reeling a bit from the odor. I went on to bed and couldn't go to sleep for a long time because I kept smelling my feet.

Come morning, I was still smelling the stuff, even before I removed the socks. My dog ran up to beg me to let her outside, but then she backed away when she smelled the stuff! I took a shower and STILL smelled it just as strongly as ever. I sat down on the side of the tub and scrubbed my feet twice more with a washcloth and deodorant soap. That finally got it all except a faint fragrance I hoped would be noticable only to me. All that scrubbing removed any moisturizing benefit I might have gotten from the product.

Needless to say, it went right back into that mangled plastic packaging, and I'm going to try to return it to Walgreen's for a refund. Don't waste your money - Give me a tube of Flexitol Heel Balm over this stuff any day!
