EEEk- I never I thought I would write anything but glowing reviews for Sisley products, but they blew it on this 1.
Yes, it has a strong tint- I hve to "water" this down with another moisturizer or sunblock that has no color (and this is with the `natural`)- otherwise it is just too strong for my PPP skin. smell was unobtrusive (IMO). By the end of the day it was streaky and uneven. poopy.

Got this as an extra (sample size - color: natural) in a swap, so I can't comment on the packaging quality or the price ... but I would not buy it. It's not a high enough SPF for me (I wear at least 30). Also, I don't like the tint in it. The natural is the lightest shade, but it was a bit too dark for me and made me look kind of reddish, and a lot rubbed off on my hands & clothing during the day. Also kind of made my skin burn when I put it on, so made me think I'm probably sensitive to the ingredients. Also felt really heavy and greasy to me. continued >>

this sunblock is quite moisturizing and gives suprisingly high coverage (!!). It gives complete coverage imo. I apply La Prairie De-sensitizing Serum underneath formore moisture. It's a great tinted moisturizer but I hope Sisley would put it in a pump jar rather than in tube.

This is very nice sunblock. I had it in the lightest shade - "natural", and my skin was very "pampered" and in a good condition while I was using it. It is gentle to the skin and quite moisturizing, it is lightly scented, similar to other Sisley products from their Botanical line. It looks a bit thick at first but in fact it is very light on the skin. Anyway, I use Clinique Sun Block SPF 25 most of the time, and Sisley's SPF 20 is not enough for my sun-sensitive skin prone to sunspots. I'm going to try Sisley SPF 40 Sunblock.

The Botanical Sunblock is a very unusual sunblock. It seems quite thick and heavily pigmented, but contrary to its appearance, the texture is light, and gives smooth, even coverage. This is mildly scented with mint and herbs, endures all day and leaves my skin feeling firm and very soft, almost dewy. Although I don't personally have a problem with the color selection, this might limit the number of women who can use this product. There are only four shades available: "colorless," "natural," "golden," and "golden bronze" and I was quite horrified when I saw "golden" because it was a ghastly pumpkin color. But then again, the color in the tube and on the skin are different, because I use "natural," which looks oddly putty-colored as it comes out of the tube, but blends extremely well with my skintone (I am medium, with yellow undertones).
Overall, great product: comfortable, long-lasting coverage with an SPF 20 sunscreen.

Unfortunately, I completely agree with the previous post. It does look old-lady. If they just added some sunscreen to one of their regular creams or their TM I'd be happy. Thumbs down on this one.

Egad. I was given a very, very generous sample during my latest frustrating trip to Sucks, er, Saks. This stuff is awful. The "natural" tint I got is an old-lady orange. It smells like an old-lady cream and does not look natural at all. Masklike is more like it. Oh, and the ingredients -- every pore-clogging wax and goo they could find. Yes, it does have zinc oxide and titanium dioxide, but why bother? If you want a tinted sunblock, go elsewhere, but if you want a medicine-cabinet museum piece to impress your houseguests with, this is for you.
