SHOWTIME is/was Kylie Minogue's 3rd (and 4th) fragrance release; there is also a casual-wear toilette version which has different key scent notes, as well as this parfum variant [intended for evening wear].


There's not much to say scent-wise; SHOWTIME EDP is sweet and creamy in scent. The liquorice and berries are mild and burn down quickly, allowing the toffee to take center stage. It's very similar to the Showtime EDT, despite the different scent notes. Very boring and flat.


Scent notes; Cranberry, strawberry and blackcurrant, powdery heliotrope, liquorice, creamy toffee, exotic wood and vetiver.




SHOWTIME EDP is pleasant, but it isn't anywhere near original; the liquorice and berries are very reminiscent to Pink Sugar, especially when coupled with the vanilla heavy base notes. But I think Pink Sugar is more subtle then this, if you can believe that. Also; the lasting power is very poor. SHOWTIME goes close to the skin immediately and is undetectable within the hour.


Despite the unoriginality and poor staying power, I’d still be tempted to re-buy it if it weren't for the gold glitter. It falls of your skin, and trails everywhere, like you’re a little pixie. I’ll stick to Pink Sugar when I’m in a girlie mood.
