This moisturizer is wonderful. I have oily skin and I have had a hard time finding a moisturizer that doesn't cause me to break out!
This moisturizer is light weight and doesn't have an over-powering fragrance. It does't feel greasy or cakey when I put it on, which is good.

I thought this would be a safe moisturizer for me. Origins is the only thing that I can use with good results, calm skin, no breakouts.....but alas, this one did me wrong. It smells beautiful and feels very light and refreshing. But I started to get a rash and a bunch of little white bumps everywhere. Bummer.

I'm a combination to Oily skin type, and I actually really liked this product! I was given it as a sample (along with the checks and balance cleanser-which my skin didn't like much) and i immediately felt affinity with this product! Cos I have Oily-ish skin I'm always advised to use gel type formulars, which i don't particular like, so this milky watery texture works great for me! Its supposed to 'de-shine' but, as mentioned by an other reviewer, it doesn't really do that-which is another thing i like about it, even though i have Oily skin i don't want to matte it i just want to make sure i don't get spots and breakouts. This product gives a nice radiant glow to my skin aswell! I think i will definitely have to purchase this at some point!
UPDATE: I've bought the full size bottle of this now and i'm still very much loving this moisturizer (although my HG is still Nina Ricci). Was told at a department store 'Origins' counter that this product was being discontinued but luckily managed to find it at a large Boots store-really hope it isn't being discontinued because I much prefer it to the 'Zero Oil' replacement.
Still a good four lippies from me!

i was really looking forward to trying out Origins products but they just didn't work out for me. This moisturizer is soo small! It has a very watery texture, so when you put some in your hand you have to do it slowly so the product wont start dripping off. Also The description states that this product "de-shines" but let me tell you, this product left my face extra shiny and did nothing for my dry spots!! When i started using Origins my skin started to break out like never before! It was rare when i got pimples and when I started using this I started getting huge red cystic acne on my chieeks!! :( i stopped using it and my skin is finally starting to go back to normal! Overall i hated the product, the "results", the packaging, i hated everything about it!! Never Again.

I very like this moisturizer. I used this moisturizer with Origins Check and Balace foaming cleanser and Origins United State toner. They work together so well. This moisturizer is for combination skin. If you have dry skin it might not be for you. You should try other Origins cream that work for dry skin. This is a basic moisturizer does not contain spf or anti-aging. I alway used sunscreen in the morning. I alway used spf 50 or more.

This product works well on my combination skin for harsh winter conditions of UK, but feels a little bit heavy/oily during summer. Origins is one of my favourite skincare brands but I don't like their moisturisers very much. But if your skin is more on the dry side of the combination, this lotion may be good for you. It just didn't work well with my oily-combination skin which is prone to breakouts. And again to emphasize, it is lovely to use this during winter for combination skin, especially in the mornings.

i couple this with never a dull moment (cleanser) and united state (toner), this gave the perfect balance of moisture where my face needed it and strips off oiliness where my face doesn't. this is a really smart product. was really skeptic at first due to the quite-rich consistency of the cream (other moisturizers i used are usually light) but proved to be great!
i live in singapore where it's hot and humid, so usually my make-up comes off and my face gets oily by afternoon (4h after applying). but this trio has been the perfect combi for my skin so far.
love it. can't rave enough about it.

This moisturizer was so nice probably one of the better face lotions I've used, this and cliniques dramatically different moisturizing gel are probably about the same both are good for combination skin this doesn't make my skin feel greasy or oily and provides just enough moisture to keep my skin feeling soft I definitely would purchase this again its soo worth the money

This moisturizer was great when i was taking Roaccutane pills . It moisturizes my skin just enough to keep me feeling fresh all day . After I stoped taking Roaccutane, this moisturizer became TOO greasy for me.
My skin just can't absorb all its moisture. Its good if you've got dry or normal-dry skin. For ance prone, normal-oily skin.. i think you'd need something that absorbs immedietly. That extra film of moisturizer on your skin would just allow dirt to cling on.
** lesson learned : products you use while on Accutane might not be the ones that are REALLY suitable for your skin type**

This moisturiser is really great for those who have fairly oily or combination skin but maybe not nourishing enough for the winter months.
I have sensitive combination skin which gets shiny (mostly the T-zone) in the summer months and very dry in the winter and this was the perfect texture/weight to wear under foundation or to blend with a tinted moisturiser. I used this in conjuction with Origins Oil Refiner toner and their Cleansing Foaming Facewash made with 73% Organic ingredients and it really kept down the shine on my skin which was great. I thought that using all of these products together would be too harsh but I was surprised to find them just about right, however, when it started to get colder I found the wash too drying for my face and this moisturiser not rich enough for my skin.
I will definitely buy again for the summer and would recommend it to anyone who suffers from combination/oily skin. The smell is very subtle and refreshing, and I quite like the bottle as I find sometimes pump bottles can dispense too much - you have to pour this out but it doesn't come out too quickly.

I have really oily skin in a lot of places on my face so I don't need a heavy moisturizer. I had been using Oil of Olay and I was just dying to find a very light weight, but great moisturizer. I was recommended this one from Origins and I am VERY happy with it. I feel like it moisturizes the dry areas of my face and it helps with the oily spots as well. It smells very clean and refreshing...I just love it!

Balanced Diet works wonderfully for me, it softens the skin without making it oily. It consists of natural ingredients and still doesn't cause any allergic reactions. Good as a foundation and does not block my pores.
All in all, a firm five.

I like this moisturizer. It does balance your skin, I have combination skin and it makes my skin feel great. I hate the packaging though, I like that its glass (or whatever it is), but then again you'd have to be very careful not to drop it, I wish they would make this into a pump because I hate having to pour it in my hand all the time. The person below me that said "Origins does not use all natural products by any means. Don't buy into the hype like I did." Origins does not claim that all their products are made with natural ingredients and only that, some of them are natural, and then some of them do have chemicals but they use natural products in it so it is not that harsh for your skin. All their products have natural ingredients, which is not saying all their products are fully 100% natural, but all of them are made partly with natural ingredients. Moving on... it is not that expensive. It is $23.50, you can probably find it at a CCO for cheaper. Its totally affordable! I would recommend this to combination/normal skin people. Definitely a good product.

I like this stuff. It feels good when going on and is not greasy. You need quite a bit to get a good moisture going though. I have combo skin. No breakouts with this. A bit expensive.
Origins does not use all natural products by any means. Don't buy into the hype like I did.

This is THE perfect moisturizer for combination skin. Nice and light but just enough moisture. My HG for sure. I just mix a little of my SPF 30 with it and I am set to go.
UPDATE: I used this moisturizer for YEARS so my review wasn't premature, but now I just prefer a completely Oil-Free moisturizer especially because I layer it with sunscreen. So I am taking off one lippie for that, but otherwise it is a great product with a nice, light herbal sent.

As far as the rule goes about applying moisturiser 30 mins before foundation, this one is light enough to soften skin about 10mins before putting on makeup. Excellent for mornings before work and lasts through the day. Initially I felt it was a little too light for night use but after a few weeks, I find it really works for me with a hydrating mask every so often. However, it is quite oily and shiny so I wouldn't use it without a touch of powder.

It's a liquidy, somewhat runny texture. Did NOT cause breakouts or anything weird. I thought it was too oily and it makes your skin look oily. But then again, it is made of mostly plant oils for moisturizing. I think the price is absolutely great since it lasts for a longggg time. I would not buy it again because it is very oily.

the packaging actually is interesting but the product is hideous. it is not a great cream. i would recommend it only to teenagers. it doesn;t have the wow factor and smells bad. it is just an ordinary cream. i don;t think I am a huge fan of origins products. i only like their ginger perfume.

hmmm. dont think im much of a fan. it has a nice texture and all but it doesnt have a wow factor and i feel the fragrance is a bit strong. I have used it a couple of times only and im using the rest of the bottle on my legs!! I must say it has make them very soft.
