I like polishes that are a little bit different than the mainstream, but not different enough where I stand out in a crowd. I got Posh hoping it was a blood red matte but it's more a pinky-red. It does turn a little darker with more layers but it's still clearly a red and not a vamp. I keep this around with Zoya Veruschuka (matte emerald green) for Christmas manis. Otherwise I don't see much occasion for wearing them although the formula is quite fun. (Like crackles, I like these polishes for the novelty if not the utility.) I also have Zoya Loredana (matte dark grey) and of these three mattes, only Posh chips on me by the next day. It's easy enough to patch since mattes dry in seconds, but then the patchwork chips off too. I put on Posh 4 days ago and I've repaired my mani Every Single Day. Yipes. I'm glad I bought this to play around with but I won't buy it again when I run out.

Finally got Posh in a swap recently! Gorgeous, satiny red-wine stain color, but the formula is bad news - I expected more from a Zoya polish. That or I need to learn tricks to applying matte polish. Less than 1 day wear and chips all over the place!

I almost didn't buy Posh because I didn't think I'd like it. O.O Turns out, it's my favorite of the Fall '09 Velvets. It goes on smoothly, although I feel I need two coats to get a good finish. It dries quickly and is almost more of a satin than a matte. Gorgeous cool red color, too. Love love LOVE.

This color looks great on my olive-toned skin. The finish is so unusual and it's a nice, subdued burgundy-red color. Amazing.

Out of the 6 matte velvet polishes I got. (Fall & Winter) I will say that Posh is my favorite. It didn't seem to chip as easily as the others and it is the prettiest color out of BOTH collections. Loredana being a very distant 2nd. continued >>

I love this color! It is a matte chrome cool red. It goes on streaky at first, but 2 coats will fix it. I like this because it doesn't scream "RED NAILS!"
I put this under China Glazy Lubu Heels to enhance the red, and WOW.
