Edit: My original review was for Welt, which is the fuschia pink...Scandal is as decribed by other reviewers, a warm mid pink with almost a coral tinge...
This has the half-life of plutonium. The density of pigment and staying power could in fact make it your only deep-pink thing for the lips, glossed over, dabbed on, etc.
I hope the quality of Illamasqua does not mean we all stop our quest for perfection!

Scandal is a bright matte warm pink. It attracts attention. Creamy, pigmented, opaque and a little goes a long way. I really like that I don't notice any scent or flavor to it. Best of all, as it fades, it leaves behind a nice stain that fades into my natural lip color nicely. I always wear it over a lip primer like UD Lip Primer Potion or Guerlain Kiss Kiss Liplift, it allows you to use less product, lips will appear smoother and less will settle in your fine lines. For reference I'm a NC35.

Girls! This lipstick is a real scandal! When applying for the first time, I found the texture too hard, like a "cream" but to apply with a brush, it became very usable until the day dia.Sou praised when use it, is a single color, I recommend buying this lipstick too, is a different color and striking.

Gosh, this colour is BEAUTIFUL! It's a warm matte coral pink. On my the back of my hand, it looks like a warm pink, but on my lips, the coral tone comes out.
It's a really lovely colour and I haven't seen anything like it. The texture is matte and can be drying, but since I always use a lipbalm, it's not a big problem for me. I just make sure my lips are well-exfoliated and moisturised before applying Scandal.
There isn't a noticeable scent to this. And it lasts and lasts (owing to its matte formulation). I highly recommend this and you should try it on your lips to see the full effect. If I judged it solely on my hand swatch, I wouldn't have purchased it. So glad I tried it on my lips. I'm a warm, NC30 Asian gal and Scandal really brightens my complexion.

This is an amazing lipstick! Illamasqua has become my go-to for matte lipsticks. The color pay off is amazing -- best I've ever seen -- and they go on really opaque. "Scandal" is a bright cotton candy pink with a hint of coral (on me anyway). It is absolutely stunning as part of a mod look. I love to pair it with think winged eyeliner and light eyelids...very Swinging London, but extremely wearable and flattering. I'm sure it will look even better with a tan. When it fades, it leaves a lovely stain. It makes my eyes look bright and my teeth white -- what more could I want?
Lips *must* be hydrated and exfoliated to wear this lippie. Before bed, I've been buffing my lips with a mixture of olive oil and sugar, and I've been drinking lot of water during the day. That has kept my lips smooth and moist to carry this off. I can't wait to get more Illamasqua lipsticks!

I love this unique lipstick. It is certainly one of my HG colors. It is a cross between coral and hot pink and very, very matte. It leaves a moderate stain as well. I love this type of shade and it is a rare color to find. It is in the family of one of my other favorites, MAC Full-Stop Red from D Squared collection, however that is a bit lighter and much creamier and glossier, being a Lustre finish (although a very pigmented Lustre in this case).
The only slight problem with this and the other Illamasqua colors that I have tried is that they have a tendency to over dry the lips and emphasize any amount of dryness that you may have. But the uniqueness of the color and staying power greatly outweigh this small drawback.

Absolutely love this - a matte hot pink that leans coral. It's really bright. It has that sort of radiance about it that bright coloured mattes have. I think this is maybe one of Illamasqua's most unique colours - I don't have anything like it in any other line. It has the potential to be a future classic!

I have Scandal in a quad palette of four lipsticks. Scandal is a beautiful and bright creamy rose pink that leans to the warm side. It's vibrant but fresh at the same time and will make a lovely spring or summer colour.
Scandal is a matte finish but is still creamy and smooth looking on the lips. The staying power of Illamasqua lipsticks is fantastic although they can be a little drying.
I would purchase this lippie full size (i.e. in the tube) once my palette runs out.
