I'm not so good on picking scents but no one else has reviewed Isabella so I'll do my best. Its been out for a few years now, since 2002. The first thing I like about this perfume is the solid bottle in "glowing" red glass with the weighted base that never tips over on your shelf. Its is a warm and comforting feminine floriental. With the first spray I think blackcurrants, spearmint and citrus. Warm and fruity but with a fresh minty smell that hits the back of my nose. Ten minutes later it dries down to a sweetish powdery vanilla musk. Its fairly strong and long-lasting, I think 5 or 6 hours wear on me, so its not one for the office or summer. Casual nights or winter weekends, I find one half spray works well with natural body chemistry, wearing 5 or 6 hours on me. Some florientals can be heavy or cloying but this has just enough fresh citrus to lift it when worn lightly. Well worth it for a non-prestige perfume.
Top Notes: mandarin and citrus.
Heart Notes: tonka bean, white magnolia, heliotrope and tobacco.
