This is my first more 'professional' blowdryer and I was extremely excited. I took this one over the EcoDry and Quietone because it was cheaper at $30 AUD and I figured I didn't need the extra functions. This had what I needed - 2000 watts, a 1cm concentrator nozzle to direct the heat and a cool setting.
Let me tell you, blowdrying my hair had never been so fun lol! The cool shot function is awesome and the concentrator is a must.
However the cool shot button is annoying in that you have to keep your finger on it, and if you accidentally let go you have to wait 5 seconds for it to get cold again.
I like the fan in this because it does NOT catch and suck in your hair if you get it too close to you (lost a lot of hair with my old Braun one!) and you can flip open the back to clean it.
I am disappointed that this did not deliver a very hot nor strong blast though, even at max settings. Even my old 15-or-so year old Braun with 1000 watts was stronger and hotter. I aim for volume at the roots and so this disappointed a little. Also the heat/speed button is quite hard to push, at first I was scared it was broken.
EDIT: The lack of strength is only when the concentrator is attached. Which is strange, because shouldn't it be stronger and more concentrated? >_>
