A flawless creme formula from Illamasqua. It is perfectly opaque in two thin coats, though you could get away with one thicker coat. I had minor tipwear after 4 days with my usual combination of Seche Clear and Seche Vite.
The color is a darkened teal that leans blue with no shimmer and it looks stunning on pale skin. It reminds me of a darkened version of blue Papermate pens. I personally prefer cremes without shimmer and I can't think of a dupe that doesn't have shimmer in it so I will repurchase if I run out.

I've tried a lot of brands of nail polish and have to say that Illamasqua is probably the best.
Muse is a gorgeous teal blue cream and applies beautifully. I usually apply 2 coats and top with Seche Vite. After a couple of days there is usually a bit of tip wear so I apply a third coat and can easily get another 2 days out of it, if not more.
At £13 it is more than I'd normally spend on nail polish but it's so good that I think it's worth it.
I've always wanted to try Illamasqua's nail polishes, but never found the right color until I saw Muse. The tester at Sephora was almost used up and horribly sticky and viscous, but I liked what I saw so far. I haven't tried it on my hands yet, but my toes like the color very much. It's a very creamy and smooth polish that applies very easily. The color is a little flat, as a previous reviewer said, but for the reason why I wanted this color, it suited me fine. So far I haven't had issues with chipping when using a good base and top coat. The only thing that annoys me is that the color separates easily in the bottle and I have to shake the bottle hard just to get it to mix back. As a sidenote- I wanted this color specifically to match my fav team the San Jose Sharks' teal team color, and this comes very close!
Love this product line (particularly the lipsticks) and really wanted to adore this polish, which was the first I was buying, but didn't.
First problem: durability. Tried it with my usual good basecoat and topcoat. Even with only 1 layer, the polish started peeling off the first day of wear. Tried it 2x more with 2 different base/top combos and same results. I never have this problem with various other brands, so it can only be the polish. Plus, the first coat (coverage was very heavy, so didn't ever add a 2nd) was almost latex-y. Maybe I just got a bad bottle but I found the formula unappealing.
Other problem: color. I prefer bright, offbeat and unusual colors so this wasn't anything unusual, but I found this particular blue almost like a car paint color. I'd hoped it had more tone or depth but didn't come off as much more than a simple primary flat blue.
Wound up giving it away but just bought MILF and the line's own base coat, to give the polishes another chance.
I bought this and Recycle and I'm in love. I already plan to buy another bottle. The application is flawless and with S. Vite top coat it's stunning. My DH was so wowed, he wants me wear it all of the time and he's offered buy the next bottle. I have polishes from Sinful to Chanel and Muse is by far my favorite (followed closely by RBL's Stormy).

I heart this nail polish. I don't wear np a lot because I'm not good at upkeep, but I always try to at least have something on my toes.
I am not at all what you'd think of as trendy, so this color scared me a little. I thought, though, that my birthday would be a good reason for breaking out of my normal routine. Now, my toes have a beautiful teal color on them and it looks phenomenal.
I'd like to give a big two thumbs up on the packaging. Sometimes I have trouble opening bottles with the smooth, rounded handles so the squareness of the handle is great for me.
The coverage is out of this world. I started with a base coat and only needed one coat of Muse for full coverage. Out-freaking-standing. I didn't have time for a top coat but you can't tell because it has such a nice shine and the wear has been great - no chips for a week. (Then again, my toes don't tend to chip much so we'll give this another couple weeks to see how long the wear is.)
Overall, I love this color and the quality of the polish. I would definitely buy this color again and am already looking for more colors!
Muse is my first Illamasqua np and it is wonderful!! The brush isn't too big, and the polish applies perfectly in one coat. Nice and opaque. I am a fan of cremes in general and this doesn't disappoint. Wear time is great too. I compared it a few other cremes, and no tip wear after 3-4 days. (I used SecheVite as top coat).
I would say this shade of teal is neutral and looks great on most skintones.

Gorgeous teal nail lacquer. I would describe it as teal leaning slightly towards peacock blue. I have a substantial collection of teal blue cremes and this color is unique in my collection.
Gorgeous and shiny. Dreamy Hand of God application.
Nice wear with barielle camo base and poshe topcoat. I will rebuy if I ever use it up.
