There is really nothing moisturizing about this moisturizer. It is meant for normal to oily skin types but oily skin types don't really need a moisturizer. Especially one that does not contain a sunscreen. Save your money and invest in a good sunscreen made for oilier skin types instead.

This lotion is actually much too drying for my skin. I feel it added to my facial problems by drying it out too much that it actually increased oil production, producing more blemishes! Plus, my face started to flake and crack! It was hard to even smile or eat when I used this stuff, my face was so tight! This might be good for those w/extremely oily complexions, but if you have even a hint of dryness before using this lotion, beware! It'll dry you out more and make you feel like your face is going to break!

I've been on the Aloette line for abt three month now, and I"ve noticed an inprovement in the texture and tone of my skin. It doesn't really help to "treat" the problem areas, but it definitely helps the skin to heal faster and in a natural, good way. lol I sound like some ass herbaligist eh? But really, this lotion is the BEST for acne prone, oily skin I have ever found. It is light, absorbs fast, leaves my skin feels HYDRATED but not oily or filmy, just the way natural, just washed healthy skin feels like, and with a lovely smell. The first two ingredients are water and aloe vera, really important in my books as the first two are often the main ingredients. Overall, I have no compliants, IT's just a good all around moisturizer and perfect for summer (and for winter too for oily girls).
p.s. do wear a sunscreen over it in the AM. IT is light enough that it still won't feel oily.

This is good for oily skin because it doesn't add extra slickness, just the right amount of moisture to leave you skin soft, and it even absorbs some extra oil. Good for me in the summer.
