I have been using this moisturizer for about a month now (along with the hydrating cleanser/freshener and moisturizing night cream). While the formulation is very nice -- light lotion, good SPF, spreads easily -- I don't feel it is truly meant for normal/dry skin like it says on the packaging, as it does not hydrate particularly well at all. The night cream in this line does hydrate well, but the day lotion is an inferior version, in my opinion. This day lotion also stings a bit going on, which I did not expect from an Arbonne product that is supposed to be all natural ingredients. I suspect that it is whatever is in the product for SPF protection that causes the stinging, but I can't be sure of that.
Given the cost of this product ($48 CDN!), I can't justify repurchasing it. In general, I like Arbonne products, but this one just didn't cut it for me.

I have never written a review for a product but this was just something I had to share the first time I tried it. The cream is light and just the perfect consistency! It absorbs quickly and leaves the face less oily. I got a free sample of this and I am definitely on the verge of buying the full size.

Hello all! Its so good to see all these independent reviews on this site! I am a consultant for Arbonne, and most Arbonne consultants will harp on about how good all the products are, well they are very good and I would be lying if I said ALL the products suit me and my family. There are some products that i don't like using my self like the Spa range as it doesnt do anything for my dry skin, but I love the RE9 range for myself.
However, every single person who has bought the FC5 range has completely fallen in love with that range and uses it religiously! Enjoy the products every one...xx

I love the convenience of the pump of the bottle, it allows you to get ALL of the product out (which is good because you pay for what you get and it is a bit pricey). When i use it, its not 100 percent matte on my skin but I notice i dont get as oily throughout the day. I like how theres spf in it too. The downside to this is the packaging. The lid is so weak, i've dropped it so many times because its soo loose and its all cracked now :\ But that doesnt affect the quality of this product. I only use one pump since my skin is already pretty oily, so this has lasted SOOOO LONGG..surprisingly. Definatly repurchasing :)

This is an excellent summer weight moisturizer. Even though I have combo skin, I use the normal to dry formula. It is one of the few moisturizers that actually make my skin feel soft and adequately moisturized after a few hours on the dry parts of my face. Not emollient enough during the winter for me.

*note* I have the FC5 Oil-Absorbing Day Lotion with SPF 20, so I hope this is the same thing?
Okay so I bought this along with the Cleanser+Toner for oily skin because my sister tried it and Loved it! For the two of them I think I paid $65 CAD, which is a lot more than I like to dish out (but I guess at par with brands such as Clinique).
I have been using it for just over a month and I can safely say that so far this is the best skin care regimen I have ever tried. I never get pimples anymore, and it has evened out the rest of my skin tone. My sister, who has been using the same products for about 5 months now look's like she has a new set of skin. It is really amazing stuff.
When I received the product I didn't think it looked like a lot for what I paid, but you only have to use such a tiny bit so it really does last. After a month I have just made a little dent into each of these products.
I would say definitely try these products as a pair. I will probably keep re-purchasing until my skin matures a bit, and then hopefully I can go back to drug-store brand products.
These products do a really good job at keeping my t-zone oil free throughout the day! I wear the just wear the moisturizer and ditch the face primer under my light foundation.
The thing that I love the most is that they feel like they are really sinking into your skin and healing it, rather than sitting on the surface and covering it up.

I had listed that i would buy the product again but i would have put maybe.
I like the oil control factor but the one or two blemishes that have shown up as a result of using the product are deterring me from using it again.
it goes on great and does absob the oil all day..
cons are that it does smell a little and feel a little like suntan lotion, but it absorbs rapidly into the skin and lasts all day.

I have such dry skin that I typically only use creams. Heavy creams. I was given a sample of this to try and was skeptical. How was this light lotion going to not leave my dry skin craving something heavier, greasier, more? Surprisingly, it just made my skin feel right. The way it felt when I was a teenager, before pregnancy hormones permanently sucked all natural oils and moisture from my face. I am NOT an Arbonne salesperson, and have no motives behind my review. I just honestly liked something for the first time in a while, and I try samples of everything all the time. I am no product loyalist, but I actually bought a full size of this and if I use it all (which never happens) and still like it, I may have found a HG.
