i love this aloette product. my dads gf introduced me into it about 3 months back. it cleared up any pimples i had. every so often i get a pimple here and there....but hey, who doesnt. i love how light this cleanser is & it smells so good (citrus).only bad thing about it, is the way its packaged. be careful when your squeezing some out so that you dont get too much. i use this along with the toner and moisturizer & my skin has been looking good :) continued >>

I liked this cleanser. it was gentle, and it foamed. my face felt clean yet not dried out and not tight. i didn't break out like some of the others had experienced.
the only thing i didn't like was the packaging. The opening in the spout was too big for the consistency of the cleanser, which was a bit more runny than others. therefore a lot of times i would get a big glob of product, much more than i needed. what a waste! other than that, i liked it.

I just finished a full 6 oz tube of this cleanser. It didn't take me too long to use up that much either. I used it strictly in the shower and everywhere on my body except for my face. It's just not the type of cleanser I would use on my face. This is a very light, pinkish mango'ish', foam-like cleanser when squeezed right out of the tube. It does not seem to foam up, however, when applied to the skin and wetted up. It is a bit airy in texture and you have to apply a lot of it in any given area to get something out of it. I think the name of this stuff is a bit misleading...it doesn't necessarily foam while using it but it does have a foam, air-like consistency in the tube. Or maybe its foaming action is so 'gentle' it can't be detected! It does have healthy ingredients in it like green tea, which are good for the skin, and it does leave the skin soft. It probably makes a better mid-day or in-between washings cleanser, than it does a main cleanser. This is the first Aloette product that received an 'average' rating from me and a 'non repurchase' stamp! Perhaps it gets a fairer assessment when used on the face...but I didn't want to chance it as I had a sense this stuff would cause breakouts. And so, this rating is based on all-over body use (other than the face). Even though I didn't think it was the best when I first used it, I didn't want to waste it and so used it all up in the shower over a couple of month's time. While not the best cleanser in the nation, this product is okay...reminds me of something you'd use up only once and never bother with again. But, it obviously has a following or it wouldn't have been (nor be) on the market so long.

I was a victim of Aloette! YUCK! Broke me out big time. When I asked the consultant about it, she simply told me not to use as much. well, I gave it a try and it broke me out so bad (all their products did) Such a sucker. I bought the shampoo even because she somehow talked me into that, too. Yikes. SO, I am stuck with all this junk and they DON'T give REFUNDS. I feel so used!

I really wanted to love this product, but it totally broke me out! I was soooo upset, because it did make my skin feel nice the first few days, but then this barrage of ugly blackheads, whiteheads and big pustules rode into town and ruined it for me! After looking up a lot of the ingredients in the formulation online, I found that most of them are comedogenic! (So much for their claim of non-acne forming products!) I use the tube I have now for shaving purposes and it works very well on my legs, underarms and bikini area but I definitely won't be using it again on my face!

This is a nice cleanser that makes my face feel clean, yet not dry or tight. It does foam when I use it and I don't mind the scent. Kind of citrusy.

I love using this cleanser on my combination skin. It does foam most of the time and there is not a "soapy, waxy" residue on my skin. I think dry skin would not be able to use this cleanser. The only time I am sensitive to this cleanser is when I use my "Differin" acne medication. Maybe it is the slight fragrance that irritates my skin. I will buy it again.

My mom introduced me to this stuff after she went to an "Aloette party" with a friend she works with. She got me the Gentle Foaming Cleanser and the gentle facial scrub, and they are both excellent! My skin is VERY sensitive and dry, and these products have been great for it. (No one wants that "crusty" makeup look you get when you have dry skin under your foundation!) Also, I had minor breakout spots here and there, and this stuff seems to have cleared it up almost completely, even though it promises nothing along those lines on the label. That was a nice suprise. Overall, this is pretty good stuff that I would definitely recommend to anyone.

Great overall cleanser, comes in a creamy form but foams up quickly on your face and washes away completely clean, clear, and w/t residues. Leaves skin HYDRATED, not dry, and is a great cleanser for oily skin. Feels really good too as it has that great aloe vera fragrance. I love Aloette as the entire skincare line for oily skin does not feel like it's made for oily skin. It doesn't strip your skin of its natural moisture at all, just adds to that and HYDRATE them. My skin honestly feels healthier, and more "breathable" after I wash my face and go through my 4-step routine. Love aloette, and not expensive compared to some exclusive brands either. If you have oily acne prone skin and have tried the chemical harsh treatments w/t results, and want to try a more natural, organic skincare routine. I would totally recommend Aloette, you won't regret it. I don't.

I like this in the summer when my skin is oily. It thoroughly washes away the oil, leaving me with just the right amount of moisture. It can get a little drying, but if you moisturize, you're fine! I just don't like the packaging, because it stands on its end, and when you open it, it can gush out sometimes. continued >>
