This cleanser is awesome. I brought it from a department store, it was expensive but i think worth it. Its an exfoliant but its gentle enough to use it everyday. A little small pea size of cleanser is all you need to get a full lather. I use it 2x a day with my cleanser brush (see previous review) and my skin is clear, clean, fresh w/o the drying feeling. When i use the toner there is no residue left behind which i also like. I really love this cleanser. I think i will look for something less expensive but if it doesn't work i would go back to this.

I like the oil zapping qualities of this cleanser. It has micro green exfoliating beads in this that melts away once you buff them into the skin. This is mild enough to be used 2x a day and also melts away my tinted moisturizer and loose powder combi without additional need for a makeup remover.
I like the rich foam as well as the fresh scent of this cleanser. This does not feel as soft as Mousse Douceur but more towards a clean, residue-free feel that i appreciate when my oillies act up.
This cost SGD$58 for 150ml which is pricey but not as expensive like La Prairie or salon-based brands. For this price it performs to what I expected it to do.

I love this cleanser because of how clean it makes my skin feel and it is non-drying. I didn't expect to like a Chanel skincare product but I do as it really clears up my skin. I love the idea of the Tulip Tree and Meadowsweet extract and the tiny jojoba beads exfoliate so lightly that I could use this twice a day! However it was (as expected) rather pricey like all Chanel products are and it costed $56 AUD for 150mL but I only need to use a little amount (I mean little! Half a pea) to get it to lather nicely, as it is a mousse cleanser. This would probably last me eight months or more. The smell is quite fresh and clean however it can be overpowering for sensitive noses (the smell lingers after I wash it off). The packaging is very good quality but I was disappointed when it came with a screw cap/lid. Overall I was satisfied with the product and I would love to repurchase it. :)

I love this cleanser. It has a lot of nice treatment ingredients and it has really cleared up my skin. It is a thick mousse with tiny jojoba beads in it to gently exfoliate. You only need a tiny pea sized amount to cleanser your whole face; it is very concentrated! This 5oz tube will last a really long time! I am using this 2x a day and it has not dried my skin out it has just balanced me out. My skin feels clean fresh and matte after cleansing with this. The only problem I have with it is the strong flowery fragrance. It is not bad but it's just pretty strong for a cleanser IMO. I would get a sample to try it and see if you like the scent. Overall this cleanser is worth the money ($45) considering the pricey ingredients, the plant/coconut surfactants, and the concentration of the cleanser!!!

I actually do really like this cleanser. The packaging is so sleek. haha. But it works really well. Nice little exfoliation every night for my skin before I apply my acne medication. I use this at night and the Gel Purete also by Chanel in the morning. It is a nice duo for my oily skin. This is super concentarted so you only need a pea sized amount. I cleanse twice, to ensure super clean skin. So the first time it doesn't foam a whole bunch, because of my oily skin, but the second application WOW its so foamy! Nice little green exfoliating beads as well. And another kind of suprising thing is that it leaves my skin really soft and kind of hydrated which is NICE. I definitley recommend this cleanser. It's fairly new as well. $45 for 5 ounces, actually pretty reasonable.

There used to be cleansing mousse in Purete line that was discontinued and replaced by this one. Packaging and the texture is the same but this one is supposed to be exfoliating. There are small green micro breads but they don't do the exfoliation, it is salicic acid that exfoliates but it is so gentle that it can really be used twice a day without drying out your face. I am 30 now; my skin is something between normal and combination with small blemishes so I can not afford harsh cleansers anymore so for me this one is really the best. Cleanses well all make up and the skin is so clean without stripping. I use this mousse and good moisturizer in the morning and good night cream in the evening and I don't need more. No toner, no additional scrub. It is expensive but it lasts at least 6 months because you only need small amount (like a size of pearl). Of course there is scent like in all Chanel products but it's not strong and my face has no problem with it. Normally I use only organic skin care but I haven't found organic cleanser that would beat this one. Will buy again.

This is brand new from Chanel. This is the second cleanser in the Purete line featuring the anti pollution properties from the Tulip Tree. There is already a Gel Purete, that I love, but they just came out with this new mousse one. It foams up really well, but I would not call this exfoliating, whatsoever! There are green circular beads in the mousse, but they do absolutely nothing, they are too large, gentle and smooth, to exfoliate the skin. It also leaves skin very sqeeky, which I do not like. It would also make my hair very squeeky and not soft as it would get in my hairline in the shower, when I rinsed it off, I could run my hands over my face, they would always squeek against my face if thqt makes any sense. Packaging is awesome as usual, I'm beginning to think this is where my $45, went, not into the product itself, this did nothing to control oil, or help with blackheads, acne. I mean its alright, but I have already put the tube on the top shelf of my bathroom, so I'm finished with it.
