This might be my new favourite nude/MLBB lippy. It is such a great nude tone that doesn't wash me out in fact it is very flattering on my nc44 complexion and somehow brightens me up. It goes on as a warm toned brownish pink on my lips. To me it looks like the lighter version of Mac's fast play. The formulation of this lippy is wonderful creamy... maybe too creamy as the lipstick broke while over zealously applying it... so be careful to use a light hand. I also find it way more moisturzing than any of the MAC lippy formulas. I'm so glad we have this line in Canada and it's so easy to get a hold of since SHoppers Drug mart is everywhere.
I have repurchased this lipstick twice now as it's an awesome nude/neutral shade for my fair complexion as it doesn't make me look like a zombie. The shade comes across as a rosy pink beige and is opaque, creamy, and doesn't dry out my lips. Both times I purchased this lipstick I was able to score a sweet deal at Shoppers Drug Mart on clearance for $5.
I found this in the Spring 2011 GOSH display that was at Shoppers Drug Mart. Mine has an adorable floral motif in beige on the black cap, and the packaging is sturdy. This is the perfect "my lips but slightly better" shade that I have been searching for. It's a rosy nude with a creamy finish. It's got very fine shimmer that I didn't even notice until I took a look at the lipstick up close. It's not too sheer and staying power is decent. The weird thing is the taste/smell though. It smells like a MAC lipstick, but the taste is very plasticky. It cost $17 Canadian, so very expensive for a drugstore brand lipstick.
I am really impressed by this lipstick and see little difference between this and other more expensive brands. I have just applied this with a brush and using Clinique lip pencil in Neutrally. This is a lovely natural tone - a browny pink. I think it is a great alternative to a nude lip shade. I have quite pigmented lips and look ill when I try to wear a nude colour. It goes on glossy when applied with a brush. My only concern is the lasting power. It glides on really easily and doesn't have the lasting power of other lipsticks.
Love this!! I am new to lippy so i wanted to tru something a bit cheaper before trying out MAC lippies, the colour is great its a my lips but better shade for me :)
The texture is ngood, its not to drying and staying power is average.. may last longer if i used a base and lip liner though.. will give those a try.
I cant wait to try out some other shades gosh has to offer and hope they bring out more :)
Will repurchase if i ever run out
I am surprised that no one talks about this shade! Nougat is a natural lip colour that is slightly on the deeper side, which is perfect for someone who has darker lip colour, like me! The texture is creamy and doesn't make my lips try. When I want a lighter look, I usually would put the GOSH Cool Lip Jam #107 on top. Will definitely repurchase it!
