I love Bobbi Brown's shadows, but this one was a bit of a dissapointment, at least on me. It was too sheer. I tried all kinds of brushes to deposit the color, and could never get the desired effect. I'm going to layer it over a MAC paint, and see if that helps.

Lavender is described on the Bobbi Brown website as "icy pale pink lavender." I think that's pretty accurate. It does have pink in it and it is quite icy. I've never been too fond of lavender/purple shadows, but I find that this one is ok. It has a lot of shimmer and can be blended with more neutral shades for a nice effect.
