I thought I'd try this after reading reviews on here, and so far I'm very impressed. I'm always searching for an SPF moisturiser that doesn't make me super-oily - a near impossible task. This is actually better at keeping oil in check than a lot of the high-end oil-free moisturisers I've tried, aswell as being a higher SPF than many. Amazingly, it hasn't broken me out. And a big bottle at a very reasonable drug-store price. I like the discontinued Biore Pore-minimising SPF 15 (actually still available on Amazon) for summer when it's hot and humid (and haven't tried the Coppertone in the summer yet), but this is fab in winter so far.

Ive been using this sunscreen for 3 years now. I use the SPF 30. I have combo skin. It has never once broke me out and gives me a nice moisturized yet matte finish. Inexpensive for such a large bottle. I use to everyday on my face, neck, and chest. Gave it a 4 because in my dreams it would leave me completely matte! :-)
HG drugstore sunscreen!

This is a great sunscreen-I was a little skeptical, however, because I could not find the previous SPF oil-free one (the one with the blue label), so I initially thought this would not be as effective.As luck would have it, this formula is even better due to its added anti-oxidants & moisturizers.It goes on smoothly, doesn't leave a white cast, smells pleasant, lasts a long time, and most of all does not clog my pores or break me out, yet it moisturizes effectively w/out leaving a greasy film, as it is oil-free. In all, I think this is a top-quality product. 5 lippies, will repurchase. continued >>

What is says on the bottle:

* Hypoallergenic and non-comedogenic; won't clog pores
* Appropriate for everyday use
* Designed for women

This is my favorite sunscreen for my face. It dries without any greasy/oily film and leaves my skin silky soft. I also feel it moisturizes my face. Great product and has no smell whatsoever. I purchased mine on sale for 9.99. It will last me a long time so not a bad deal.

I bought this thinking it might not work so great on me. I am a light ivory color and burn so easy. But I put some of this on and I did buy the face lotion as well. The sunscreen for all over has an spf of 30 the face lotion has an spf of 70. The one for your face is more wet. The other is a rich lotion. I will buy them both again. I think they ar4e like $8 dollars each. That's about the same price as any sun screen. This is good for your skin and is good as far as price. I live in new england and I will wear it on my face year round.

This is one of the BEST bang-for-your-buck, UVA/ UVB sunscreens at drugstore. I've been researching and shopping around for a budget sunscreen for quite a while now, and at not even $2/ ounce, this lotion is great considering all the pros listed below. Just shake the bottle and apply the lotion liberally, at least 20 minutes before you go out of the house. Especially after trying that terrible Neutrogena Ultra Shield, I can't recommend this Nutrashield product enough. Highly recommended and would repurchase without hesitation.

PROS
- it has a subtle powdery fragrance, but the chemical "sunscreen" smell is barely detectable
- it is not greasy: I can use a whole lot without feeling slippery. It dries smoothly and leaves a soft texture on my skin.
- it has antioxidants
- the packaging is opaque, stable, and generous: The bottle is thick and won't explode all over the insides of your handbag, and the cap is secure.
- this sunscreen is affordable and is easy accessible at drugstores, Target, and Walmart, so you can re-apply without having to worry about your pocketbook

CONS
- might not be good for those with sensitive skin, due to avobenzone being the primary active ingredient, and it is (slightly) fragranced
- the bottle often makes a "farting" noise when you squeeze product out
- it can be heavy and cumbersome, especially if you have a small bag and need to maximize space, and--due to the design of the bottle--getting the last bits of lotion can be a hassle

I have oily-to-combination skin that is fairer than fair, making sunscreen both a must and a terrible ordeal--that is, everything makes my skin oily and breaks me out. This feels more like moisturizer and dries to a slightly powdery finish that is very comfortable. I bought the regular kind and use it on face and body with no problem. I'll definitely repurchase, and I can't believe I found my HG in a drugstore brand.
