I've used this product for over a year now. I get it thru amazon alittle cheaper than the retailed price. I have noticed a slight "lightening" under my eyes but nothing drastic, and some mild wrinkles slowly filling in. It takes a while to notice results and they come the more you use the product. You can even layer another eye cream on top of it if you need more hydration. This is a lite cream and doesn't really do much for dry/dehydrated under eyes. It is meant as an anti-wrinkle agent and you only need a little bit. I did notice the "warming" sensation once applied, but it goes away after you rub it in. I will continue to purchase this product as i have noticed my wrinkles improving. IF i have drier skin, i just use another product over it, especially during the winter months.

I have mixed feelings about this product. At first it makes the under eye area look worse before it gets better. The "better" is not that impressive though. It does do a good job of lightening dark circles but I don't find it does anything for fine lines. It is moisturizing and absorbed well. I bought this because it was on sale for $30 and it normally retails for about $80. I would never repurchase at that price because there is nothing special about this eye cream and I will try something else when I run out.
EDIT: Originally gave 3 lippies, have now rated 5! I had to come back to say that the more you use this eye cream the better the results get (it actually says that on the package too, lol- but I am more of an instant results type person so I rated too hastily) but it is TRUE.... After continued use (about 2 months now, morning and night) I pretty much don't even need to wear under eye concealer anymore, no dark circles and my fine lines have vanished. I will repurchase and will even pay full price if I have to.

I also had great results and have been using it for two years. Then I developed an allergy that went into a full blown conjuctvitis from this product. I have blisters in my upper and lower eyelids. The medication to clear this up was $100 with insurance. I think if you are a new user it is great, but only for about a year, then get rid of it. I'd give it a 2.5 it was a 5 in the beginning.

This eye cream really work. I saw significant reduce of lines at inner corner of my eyes in 2 weeks, and now it has been almost 2 months, I see only few very fine lines left for improvement. I will repurchase after this one finish.

Horrible!!! It irritated my eyes to make them look 20 years older after just one week of am-pm use!! Fine lines became more noticeable, the eye contour was dry and itchy, very uncomfortable!!
I decided to give it some time to work, but after 3 weeks of use I developed a dermatitis and had to go on to apply aloe vera to stop the area from peeling out and itching like hell. Totally agree with the rest of negative reviews, it is WAY to aggressive. It might work wonders in mature skins, I don't know. What I do know is that it is not a suitable product for the first signs of aging or for a remotely sensitive skin.
For £50 a tube, a disgraceful choice!!!

I brought this to try other eye cream brands. I used to use an anti-aging eye cream of another brand and it works wonders but so costly. Since it was on sale at costco (which is already a good deal regularly), I decided to give it a try. I have 2-3 fine lines, and semi-dark circles from being a full time grad student. I'm halfway through the tube and don't really notice any difference when I'm using or not using it. I say save the money and buy something else.

I am always experimenting with eye creams. This was one of the most disappointing experiments. This product proved ineffective after several weeks of daily am/pm use. Fine lines appeared to be more evident with this product, as it did not provide adequate hydration on my skin. There was no noticeable change in under eye puffiness or discoloration. Despite the fact that I only use a tiny amount of cream, and always wait 10-15 minutes for it to sink into my skin, it interfered with subsequent make-up application and caused primer, concealer, eye shadow, etc to flake, ball up, and look creased. I don't typically have this problem with other eye creams. I decided to discontinue use after the cream gradually sparked irritation, including milia, upper eye puffiness, and redness.

This eye cream is overrated and isn't a fantastic product to combat eye-wrinkles, dark circles and puffiness. in fact it makes them worse. I used this for months and my eye area just looked so bad! dehydrated, tired-lloking and those fine-lines just kept on coming. I have since switched to a different product and the skin around my eyes looks plump and healthy again, I still have the fine lines but at least my skin around my eyes feels hydrated and it doesn't seem like i'm getting more as quickly as I was when I was using this product.
I wouldn't recommend this product to anybody for any reason, save your money and try something else because this doesn't deliver on anything.

BEWARE, THIS IS FOR VERY DRY AND MATURE SKIN over 40. If your skin totally doesn't secretes much oil, you can use this. THIS GIVES ME DAMN MILIA SEEDS - after only 2 weeks of application. I thought i have been very careful in the application amount. I am 29 and have been bothered by the fine lines (quite many of them due to insomnia for the past 2 years). When i smile, the fine lines under the eyes are scary.
I saw the reviews here. And it seems that this is not only for more mature women, but also for those showing first signs of aging.
I AM WRONG. This is my terrible mistake after the lamer balm. The lamer balm gives me even more milia seeds, like my whole under eye area are covered with tiny bumps (which i am not sure how to get rid of them), looks scaly.
These 2 gives me lots of milia seeds. A lot.. I didn't notice it's so much till i look to the mirror under strong sunlight as indoor light doesn't really show the imperfections like milia seeds that well. Maybe i am too young for these. A good eye cream should not have given milia seeds at all even if it may remove fine lines if i use them longer (which i don't know yet).
I am so frustrated that i have spent so much money over these 2 products with rave reviews. I am not going to believe any reviews anymore. I will just try safer over the counter products like lancome, clinique and estee lauder. I think i am going to try shiseido bioperformance which my fren is using and no complaint. Good reviews as well.
I am so sick of seeing the lamer that i have thrown it to the bin. Strivectin i put in aside. Maybe i am going to use many years later.

I am a skeptic when it comes to claims products make about helping wrinkles and dark circles and the like. Despite that, I made the switch to this eye cream after giving birth to my son. Previously, I was using more "hippie" products (aka natrual) and the lack of sleep drove me to try a product with 'helpful' properties. Throw in the fact that I found this in a 2-for-1 pack at Costco, and I was game.
When I first put this cream on, my skin 'drank' it much better than other creams I had been using. It felt good on my skin. I should say that neither my under eye wrinkles nor dark circles are terribly prominent. I am probably the only one who really notices such things to begin with, but I feel this cream honestly helped both to an (again, only by me) extent. It's certainly not a miracle product (I still use concealer on most days), but I think it has plumped my skin up enough to make a bit of a difference in the wrinkle area. I even dab it on along my brow bone/upper lid and I think it's helped my crepe-y eyelid. Is that crazy? Maybe. As for dark circles, it's hard to give the cream much credit since my son did start sleeping through the night so I'm sure the simple act of getting more sleep has helped alleviate that issue. But we can toss this eye cream a bone.

I just started using eye cream, so I've been trying a few different brands and so far this is the only one where I actually notice a difference! I feel like the skin around my eyes is a lot smoother and firmer. It is expensive (if you're in Canada it's $71 from ebeauty.ca for 1oz: http://tiny.cc/bu5p6) but a little goes a long way, so it's worth it in the long run IMO.

I am new to trying new eye creams, so I do not have much to compare. But i have to say, in my heart I feel a bit let down by this product. The first few days I used it my undereyes seemed a bit dry? I know creams wont produce miracles, but I didn't notice much change to my undereye area. I am still getting fines lines! ahhh! do not plan to purchase this brand again.

I am so sad they had to go and reformulate this. I've been using this for the past five years and absolutely loving it. I put it on at night and, every morning, I would awake to big, bright, not-puffy eyes. It was truly a miracle in a tube since it seemed to lift and define my upper eyelids and took the dark circles away from the lower ones. The new formula (in the new, slimmer tube with the purple on it) was something I just tried last night after running out of my tube of the original formula in the black & white tube. Apparently there is something in the new formula that I am *very* allergic to because my eyes were so puffy this morning that even my boyfriend noticed it. I'm really bummed because this means that I am now going to have to go shop for another HG eye cream and take this one back ASAP. Annoying!! continued >>

This is my HG eye cream. It eliminates puffiness, fine lines, even *helps* with my black under-eye circles. Basically, it makes my under-eye area look firmer and brighter and younger and like I never went to the tanning bed way back in high school. I love this stuff. I hate the price, but I love everything else about it. I will absolutely repurchase. I went away on vacation and forgot to bring this with me and after two weeks, I really didn't look as lovely anymore. This is a staple, twice a day, in my regime.

I have been using this product for about ten days now and noticed an immediate difference in my fine lines and dark under eye circles. I had been previously using Obaji Elastiderm for about six months, and the Obaji Nuderm products on the rest of my face with no noticeable results. Can't wait to try the other StriVectin products now.

I bought this cream to help reduce the appearance of my fine lines and under eye dark circles. It did nothing for the fine lines but it did wonders for my dark eye circles, they really lightened up.

For starters, look for a twin pack of the .85 oz size at your local Costco for around $57.99. Costco.com has the .65 twin pack for $64.99 - not sure why the price difference. Also, watch the Costco monthly flyers for coupons.
I'm 44 this year and have always used an eye cream to keep my eye area moisturized. For the last couple years I've been a layering girl - a purely hydrating light cream or gel underneath a heavier emollient product (Nivea in the blue tin, Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream, thick stuff). I found that my under eye area was still crepey, dehydrated and just plain tired looking, in spite of vigilant moisturizing, RetinA, sunblock, anitoxidant serums, etc. Decided I needed to bite the bullet and just choose a really moisturizing eye cream for an adult, and be prepared to pay for it (I'm usually a drugstore product girl). Read up on this one, took the plunge at Costco, and I'm happy I did. Noticed a major IMMEDIATE improvement in hydration and a reduction in the crepey appearance of my undereye area. After a single use my under eye area was significantly leff puffy. My concealer applies more smoothly and doesn't get cakey like it had been with my other products. Even if there were NO cumulative benefits from this product, I'd be happy with it, and for the amount you get (.85oz compared to .5 oz for most eye creams), at the Costco twin pack price of $29 per tube, it's really on par with most other products pricewise.
Love that the packaging is a squeeze tube rather than a pot - more sanitary and more portable.
As I use it over the next few months I'll update with any long term benefits.

I got this as a gift at Sephora, I had already tried hylexin (?) with absolutely no visible change, so I was very skeptical about the 100.00 eye cream phenom that popped up in the last few years - with good reason. While the moisturizing properties of this cream are fine, it did NOTHING to diminish dark circles or puffiness, nothing to diminish fine lines - NOTHING. I didn't even experience the "moderate warming sensation" that the instructions warn about. Nada. I am 41, just starting to develop dark circles in the past five years (stress? aging? heredity? i do not know - they're there, and they're getting worse!) and neither hylexin nor striVectin did anything for me. booo!!!

I really do like this product. The only downfall is the price.... super expensive. However, this should last over a year so maybe it's not so bad afterall. I do notice lightening of my dark circles. My dark circles are the purple type from broken cappilaries so I wasn't expecting much. I have also noticed some wrinkles going away. It doesn't do anything for de-puffing however. I'll stick with this until something better comes along.

Did my research for my dark circles and this came up highly recommended. Bought this when it went on sale but still expensive. Happily, the same tube will last me at least 1.5 years. It has lightened my dark circles which was main concern. It is supposed to reduce wrinkles but that hasn't happened with me. I put twice a day but no milia as I don't overdo it. I read online that there are different types of dark circles and mine may be under the skin rather than the skin itself so the product doesn't work too well for me. Would prefer pump than tube. Will finish this then try other brands.
