This brand first got my eye during a recent vacation in Hawaii. It is basically a high-end sunscreen. What's the draw? It smells awesome and is incredibly moisturizing. I am not sure why more companies aren't making sunscreen that smells really great. Do you remember B&BW plumeria line? This smells just like it. I have been wearing it every afternoon while out riding my bike and I like that it doesn't look white and pasty, and it is really moisturizing but not greasy. While the label says Organic I am not quite sure because the sun protection is chemical (not physical like zinc) but I'm sure there's a good explanation for that.
The price is $30 for 4 oz. which is expensive considering a comparable size of neutrogena is half the price. I signed up for the www.skinstore.com mailing list and occasionally receive 20% coupons (they're also on the site) which makes it even cheaper. I highly recommend!
Edit 12/09 - Just used Ocean Potion sunblock and it is much cheaper and smells great too. So I guess if I had to choose between the two I'd go with Ocean Potion. Coola is still great though....just $$$$. continued >>
