Did nothing for acne and smells funny. I have no reason to use this.

I really love the body wash in this line, which prompted me to buy this bar for my face. However, this made me breakout. I know I am supposed to wait through the initial "purgining" phase, which I did. I just couldn't take it anymore so I have stopped using it. My face specifically my cheeks were covered in whiteheads. This soap will also make your face extremely dry. Maybe I am just too sensitive to the soap.

I have tried so many products and could not find one that worked for my acne.I came across this at target and said what the heck,boy am I glad I did,it works great.It does dry me out but I have yet to find a moisturizer that works well with it,I will continue to use and keep trying to find the right moisturizer.

I had always heard about this soap, finally found it at Target - $5 for a huge bar, $10 for a bottle of gel. I went for the $5 bar even though bar soaps usually break me out (I didn't want to spend $10 in case it was bad). I use this with a leftover L'Oreal Scrublet I have, my daughter (age 14, very sweaty from cross country and track) uses it with a face brush. It's a miracle product, it just feels healing. Neither of us are completely acne free (hormones I suppose) but this is the best either of us have gotten our skin to look - and feel, my skin texture is great (I'm 40, skin texture can be an aging thing). We both also use it on our bodies and I've stayed chest and bacne free, she still uses a Neutrogena spray after showers. I feel like it also helps with old scars and texture issues. My husband has started to use this too, and has asked me to repurchase it. He gets dried out from the sun and sunscreen (works outside often, rides a motorcycle everyday) and his job requires shaving daily, that's harsh on a face. It feels soothing and doesn't dry his skin out. We all love it. I have already purchased more bars for all of us, it's great stuff. I can put my foundation on without moisturizer first, after using the soap. It's just great. One thing, it makes me sneeze every time I use it ! No idea why :)

This is my favorite cleanser, for my face and my body during the summer. I use this with my clarisonic and hardly get a break out. The main reason I love this is for cleaning my MU brushes and my beauty blender. If you use a beauty blender you know how easily they can stain. It's a must have, I keep back ups too

I'm going to start by saying I'm very acne prone. I've tried so many face washes and lotions to get rid of my acne. I'm not sure if it's this, the L'Oreal Ideal moisturizer I'm using, or a combination of both. Will continue to use both though. Love the results I'm seeing. Pores still get slightly clogged but not even close to how bad they were before the two! I love that my acne is gone. Can't say enough good things. Must use a moisturizer as this is a bit drying.

I've been using this soap off and on for the last yearWhile its drying, but I suggest you follow up with a moisturizer. It's been a daily use of mine since adding the boots moisturizer as a follow up. We should be using a moisturizer anyway and this benefits. For my oily sensitive skin I don't have straight up flare ups since using. I only have pimples and irritations around my monthly so that's only once a month. What I really want this to work for is my hyperpigmentation. This seems to be a no change so far.

I have only been using this for a few days, primarily for my face, and I have extremely sensitive skin. I suffer from combination skin, horrible acne scars, occasional, and very uneven skin tone, my face is way darker than the rest of me. My face is caramel while my body is yellow because of the acne products I've used in the past. I wanted something that didn't have chemicals because they're so harsh on my skin.

Since using this soap my bumps have cleared up, my scars are already fading, and omg my face is turning back normal again!!!!! (happy dance). I moisturize my skin after I use it just in case it might dry it out.

and it only cost me $4 at my local Walgreens :)

I do not have this brand, but I absolutely love raw black soap which is similar! I have acne prone skin and this is one of the few cleansers I have stuck with! I will continue to use it!

I have been using this on my combination skin as my night-cleanser for about three weeks now, and I am very happy. The first couple times I used this, my sensitive skin burned a bit (and definitely close your eyes suuuuuper tight when you use this, OUCH) and I briefly developed some dry patches so I wasn't sure that I'd end up liking it. However, after the first couple times the reaction has stopped and now, weeks later, I'm left with super clear and awesomely glowy skin.
Love the smell, too- it's sort of black licorice-y. Kind of an expensive bar at $11, but it's hardly gotten any smaller since I bought it and I use it nightly.
I will definitely repurchase for as long as I can find this!
