If you are looking for a physical, all natural, biodegradable, non-sticky, affordable sunscreen, you have definitely found it with this product. I came across the Mexitan brand by chance and boy did I wish I knew about it years ago. First of all, it is THE ONLY physical sunscreen that feels like nothing on your skin. I am so fed up with those yucky, sticky like hell sunscreens and sunblocks that never seem to dry on your skin and people want to run from you because you feel so nasty. It protects with 22.5% zinc and 6% titanium against UVA and UVB rays. It also has green tea and none of those toxic chemicals.
First, you have to shake it well, but sometimes it still comes out clumpy. It does not matter because when you spread it on your skin, it unclumps and goes on very smoothy. The consistency is more on the liquidy side which is good. Because of the high amount of zinc, it leaves a slight white caste but it's not the horrid white you get with other zinc sunscreens. The key is not to put too much on since for this sunscreen, a little really does go a long way. Besides, it will flake it you overapply. Believe me, it still protects your skin really well! I never burn or got red when I wear this. After I apply, it dries instantly and I can leave home. No waiting 30mins for the protection to kick in. No sticky feeling and no worries. Zinc is great for oily skin too as it seems to leave me less greasy.
If you are worried about the white caste, buy the SPF 30 instead. It has less zinc but it's still awesome.
UPDATE: So I put this on my face on a super hot day and hated the feeling. I did not get red or burn but because my face is oily, any sunscreen I apply feels disgusting. Please know that it works fantastic for body but I don't recommend it for face if you're oily. I have solved this problem by using powder sunscreen on my face instead and so far, it's great.
