Sweetheart is such a pretty color in the pan: a shimmery shell shade, like a light sandy nude with a barely noticeable pink hue. However, for $20 I expected something a little more impressive in its performance. I'm not a chemist, but I can tell that this shadow lacks whatever ingredients would make it adhere to the eyelid. It turns very loose-powdery as soon as a brush touches it, and it just kind of "plops" onto the lid without giving smooth coverage. I've ended up using it as a shimmery veil over other shadows, just for a bit of surface interest. But again, I could have found a cheaper shimmer-highlighter elsewhere, even from an drugstore "green" line.
